as a company we have been using Europa road for all our European imports and exports. The Europa flow using DDP is second to none and works brilliantly for us. For rest of the world we use Europa air and sea, again really great service. Europa may not be the cheapest option but its fine margins vs other options and the service is second to non. Goods are fully trackable and with a nominated accounts assistant there is always someone to give assistance and guidance on new regimes as they are implemented. We have been using Europa since before Brexit and still using. Even with all the uncertainty around Brexit our goods moved without any interruptions to service.

Three and a half years using this company on a monthly basis. When things go to plan they are good but far too often there are problems. Problems have been two lost pallets (one for three weeks) and one that was due to arrive go from Germany to UK ended up in Ukraine. Three months later I'm still waiting and despite taking insurance our I cannot claim as the pallet is not lost, it's just in a worn torn country. Massive financial loss and constant chasing. Various other small issues with collections over the years. One of the major problems with this company is the way they handle problems that they cause and the communication. They are quick to reply when you want to book a shipment but very bad at taking responsibility and offering a top level customer service when they mess up. It's a large company and sadly it's lost it's ability to look after it's paying customers.
Absolutely horrendous. This is the second time my company has had the misfortune of having a parcel arrive in the uk with Europa. Lies, fraud, miscommunication, rudeness, its unbelievable the level of negligence on display here. Watch out for fake invoices for services and storage. Watch out for them holding your parcel whilst their staff produce paperwork and are on holidays, each day running you up for storage charges. They are exploiting the UK's import laws post brexit and making a fortune. More expensive than all the large courier firms !!! Avoid at all costs. Reported to HMRC and ombudsman this time around. Avoid at all costs.

Cheap rates provided within an hour - dedicated account manager. Smooth service and full tracking visibility. What more can you want. After a horrible experience with my previous haulier who kept getting things stuck in customs, Europa have been amazing.
Our experience with Europa as a freight forwarder was brief but disastrous. They consistently failed to follow instructions for clearing goods, displayed rudeness, and would often contact customers and send invoices to customers behind your back. In one instance, I requested a groupage quote and approval to proceed with groupage via email. Despite this clear correspondence, they booked and charged us for a dedicated service, resulting in a significantly higher cost.
When we refused to pay the thousand pounds in additional charges, they placed all our shipments on hold without notifying us. This caused major delays for our customers, leading to financial losses and reputational damage.
Europa takes no accountability for their actions and left us stranded when we needed them. Don't be fooled by their promises—they will let you down. Not to forget will contact your customers direct! Avoid at all costs

We have dealt with Europa for five years and received good service generally.
However, two recent shipments from South Africa have been overcharged, originally quoted one price and then, following shipment, stating dimensions were different from the quote and proceeded to increase the price.
We presented evidence to prove the dimensions charged were incorrect, and our repeated requests for action were ignored for several weeks until the invoices were overdue for payment. They then placed our account on stop and held goods in transit explaining our evidence is not sufficient to prove the cargo was not as declared.
Being held to ransom by Europa, has forced us to pay the inflated invoices.
Our recommendation, if a shipment is being arranged and has been quoted, ensure dimensions are checked and proof provided before loading onto an aircraft or ship. Otherwise, after arrival, they will not accept any basis for complaint.
The difference in charges from quoted is significant.
Disappointing that a company we rated highly, is now worth only two stars.

Despite being notified twice our large shipment of stock was sent to the wrong address - about an hour away from our actual warehouse in Newark.
We were promised collection and redelivery to the correct address the next day - this didn't happen.
We were promised collection and redelivery again today but have just received notification that our shipment is in Heathrow (3 hours away from the warehouse it should be at) and cannot be delivered today.
Europa have taken no account of the impact of their error on my business . We have customers and suppliers waiting and will need to compensate them and have already lost sales. I accept that errors do happen however their inability to put this right after 3 days with still no end in sight and plenty of promises that have not come good really worries me.
Not a service to trust my business with again.

Awful company, their staff don't know what they are talking about and avoid answering questions.
They tried to tell me that businesses in Northern Ireland need to be registered for VAT and pay customs before they can recieve items from mainland UK.
I have never had a worse experience with a transport company!
We have just started using Europa in the last 2 months and the service has been fantastic. Carys and Kelsey have assisted in all our requirements and queries big or small. They have supported us through all the logistic procedures required and I can not speak highly enough of them.
We work with a number of transport companies importing goods from Europe and this one is the most difficult. Recently they imported a shipment from Spain that was clearly marked as made in the EU (with correct preferential statement wording on the commercial invoice) yet still attempted to charge us duty. When I pointed this out they admitted their error and asked me to write a letter which they could present to HMRC in order to claim back the duty they had processed/paid on our behalf (in error). I have written many of these letters (under no obligation, it should be noted) in the past but given the everlasting levels of customer service (0/10) and competency levels (0/10) received from Europa in the past, I decided I wasn't willing to write this one. I believe it's unacceptable to expect a customer to write such letters every time they make an entry mistake; in what other profession does that ever happen?? So what did Europa do?- they refused to make the delivery until I wrote the letter! I found it disgraceful and totally unacceptable (and probably illegal, I'm looking in to that bit) that they were going to hold the delivery of the goods (circa €10k) until I wrote them a letter to cover their own mistakes. Once the situation was escalated they did eventually release the shipment for delivery, probably because they didn't want to hold it any longer, and probably because they knew they didnt have a right to do what they were doing. Now I find myself in a situation whereby they have made it clear that their accounts team will chase payment of the invoice at some point- basically saying they might block our account and deliveries if the invoice remains unpaid.
Update 18.06: a credit note has been provided.
