My account has been blocked

My account has been blocked since February and nobody in this bank wants to solve this problem. they just send me the stupid message "Updated eBanking Case - 20060300064V 
A Compliance and Regulatory case from Euro Pacific Bank has been updated in your eBanking Support Center with status Pending-CustomerResponse.", and I can’t reply, log in to my account it’s blocked.

Please note that we have been attempting to contact you for some time to routinely update your Operating Agreement as part of our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) compliance, to better understand your operations and service your account more efficiently. After several attempts we advise your account would be blocked then eventually closed due to failure to respond to the request by the Compliance Department in order to update your operating agreement, as part of the bank’s regulatory requirements.

Online portal is good and easy to use, transfers are SLOW

Online portal is good and easy to use, the challenge is how long inbound and outbound transfers take for to compliance checks. Don't expect instant or fast account balance updates. It is not uncommon for an inbound transaction to take a week.

Incoming transfer issue

The opening process was great. I had a chat with a specialist and the documents were sent in order and account was opened... no issue.

However the issue came during the incoming transfer over certain amount. It took 1 week from the arrival of the money till it was released to the account due to compliance check. During the time there was little update so I was worried by it.

Having said that, when asked upon the staff did answer my queries both on support cases and the phone so it was not their fault. I only wish the process was a bit more transparent.

All transactions must have a detailed reason for the movement of the funds that is clearly understood as being in line with the business activity. You must be able to clearly explain the economic purpose to us.

Although I am not very proficient in english conversation I could understand him very well because of his clear pronunciation.

Mart was very patient and helpful…

Mart was very patient and helpful throughout the sign up process which is made very painful due to government regulations invading our privacy wherever they can. Their website also looks very clean and easy to use. I wonder why they use their own 2FA app instead of the tried and tested Google one though.

Great bank with great service

I recently opened an account and am very satisfied with the service. You take care of all questions, explain all functions on the phone. The account offers many options, e.g. different currencies, credit card and trading. I can recommend this bank.
