No hassle and great service
This is my "go to" for selling text books. The website is user friendly, and the service is great. They have print outs of the mailing label, and they even send you a box if you need one. Timely receipt of payment. Would highly recommend.

No problems and as fast as can be expected
I have had no problems with FacultyBooks.com. Honestly, I have received higher prices when a book buyer shows up in my office, but that doesn't happen too often. When the books start to pile up, I use FacultyBooks.com. I get a fair price and, using Direct Deposit, I get my money as fast as can be expected considering that the books go through the mail.
They are pretty picky about what constitutes a "new" book, so I don't always get the top price, but as I'm getting money for something I never wanted in the first place, I don't consider that a big deal.
Use their system. It works.

Bad experience
The actual amount that I received was much less than the amount that I was quoted. I think that they are deceptive in their practice of quoting a reasonable amount then turning around and paying you less. I will never use this service again and I will definitely steer others away.

Okay but not great
They are fine to sell extra books to that you may not need anymore, but in almost every instance, they have found an excuse to lower the price quoted -- either they make up that the pages are bent or another reason to lower it down to used, which I am sure they then turn around and sell for top dollar. It can be very frustrating as I know the book is undamaged and well packed before sending.
