Disgusting service something from…

Disgusting service something from Auckland supposed to be here in rotorua yesterday turned up in tauranga still trying to track it down told leaving tauranga this morning ..then told no I well get it tomorrow only small parcel hoping it's not broken .. remind me not to use your service as I send lot of parcels to aussie ..but this was sent from person in Auckland .....wanted this asap as have to send on to Wellington not with your company .Have sent many parcels to australia with no problems but not with your company ..

Terrible service, don't use this company, ever!

Sent a home theatre receiver I sold on Trademe from Auckland to Wellington via Fastway. They couldn't find the address, the buyer picked it up from their depot. On opening the package, the receiver appeared to have been dropped from about chest height, one corner was stove in. I followed up with the local depot, filed an online claim etc. etc. After over a month of calling, emailing, asking Trademe to lean on them (was booked through Trademe courier service) I was told by a Fastway employee that the claim had been approved. Refunded buyer myself, but after a week no payment had appeared in my account. Called back, got Customer Experience email, sent email, received a notification (finally) that they were denying the claim on the basis that the customer had signed for the package and that absolved them of any responsibility. So - if you use this company, open every package before signing for it. That is if they wait for a signature - their couriers have signed for things themselves (that sort of thing was a sacking offence when I worked for NZ Post). But, really DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Useless and slower than a snail

They don’t even deserve one star. They should call themselves snails pace couriers how does it take 12 days to get a parcel from Auckland to Matamata I could have walked to Auckland and picked it up quicker than this useless company. I will make a point of telling everyone I know not to use this company. Absolutely useless.

Wellington depot is awful

I don't want to give them(Wellington) an even 1 star.
Never Fast, Always Delayed, Never keep their promised day, Poor customer service.
They are just awful. Please avoid this courier if you could!
I wish I knew that Amazon.com would use Fastway in NZ otherwise I never ordered from them.

Ordered a pick up on the 17th October…

Ordered a pick up on the 17th October said courier would come pick up friday18th. Didn't pick up. Rang them Monday said they would sort. Monday still no pick up. Rang Tuesday today said would pick up but I said give me the drivers pH number. Driver does not answer pH or messages. Got a direct pH number to a manager and no answer just message saying his mailbox was full so couldn't so I I couldn't even leave a message. Absolute rubbish company. Vagus Place Royal Oak. Just give me a refund.

Truly the worst courier company.

Had the unfortunate experience of ordering something online through a company that uses this god-awful courier service. Knew the experience would be terrible after a previous "attempted" delivery on another package about a year ago.

About a week ago I ordered a vacuum cleaner from Godfreys. Fastway couriers did not ring the doorbell when attempting delivery the first time, despite waiting at home for the package. They left a calling card. I tried to reschedule delivery on their website, which crashed and had to ring instead. They promised a Monday redelivery. Tuesday Afternoon rolls around and their website says the package has finally been delivered. Cant find it anywhere on the property. Called them, they said it had been delivered to a house with a grey door. We have a green door. Walked around the neighbourhood looking for houses with grey doors and found my package at a neighbours house sitting right next to the street address number which is clearly not what is marked on the package. It was lucky I knew the breathtaking level of incompetence that the couriers in this company display otherwise my neighbours would have recieved a free Vacuum Cleaner.

I guess, at least they are consistently terrible so you know what to expect.

Terrible

Terrible. They are incredibly lazy and leave couriers in the worst places. They have misplaced a lot of our companies couriers and often leave them on top of bins or inside of elevators even though they have access to come inside. Our company has complained several times but nothing has changed or been done.

Constant false/fake and misleading…

Constant false/fake and misleading updates on tracking information.

Tracking will state 'out for delivery' however it will update to later that evening to 'unable to find address' even through I have an easy to find and access property. A property which they 'couldn't find' two days before this particular update and that they delivered something to yesterday.

The other one they do is, update the tracking to 'attempted delivery' and state they tried to deliver at X time however no one was home and they didn't want to leave it, even though the package is one which is meant to be left and doesn't need to be signed for, expect I was actually home all day working on my computer 5 feet away from the door. No attempt was made.

Totally unreliable and terrible service.

Worst Courier Company in NZ

I paid $9.30 for freight to track and trace to a gold ring bought off trademe. After 3 days of not receiving my parcel I looked on the Fastways website only to find it had not even updated anything on the tracking, and then after spending 3 days ringing them, with no answer to their phones, then if they did answer, getting put through to people that I couldn’t even understand, then having no joy with an answer to where my parcel was, I finally managed to get put through to their customer service team who said that they would try to locate it, & ring me back after a few days to let me know what they had found.
After a week of not hearing anything, I then got told my parcel must be lost in transit, and that I’d have to make a claim, but that because I wasn’t the sender, I couldn’t make a claim. I mean really!! I explained to them that I was the person who had paid for the item, and that the sender had already been paid, and why should the sender get to claim my money!!
They then ignored this and sent claim forms out to the person who is bought the ring off, totally unbelievable.
Luckily the lady I bought the ring from managed to get through to the customer service team and advise them to deal with me directly.
What a rigmarole, after waiting over a week for the claim forms, o phone them to ask where the forms were, and luckily got through to a guy that was really sympathetic, and emailed me the forms.
That was nearly a month ago, and after having to send through so many things which I had to resend as the documents I sent got lost (what a joke), they finally sent back an email saying the claim had been pre-approved and that o would have to wait until the 25th of the following month to receive payment.
I will never deal with Fastway couriers again, and I warn you not to either, the worst courier company by far!!

This is as close to a scam company as…

This is as close to a scam company as you can get. Check out their rural zoning rules - they pretty much tell you whatever is rural and make you pay for rural delivery cost.

Funny how other 7 courier company doesn't do this, not NZ Post, not Courier Post, not PBT, not NZ couriers, not Post Haste, not Castle Parcels, not Pass the Parcel. Only Fastway =)

Nice way of scamming for more delivery cost.

Happens all the time with many addresses. If you do online business avoid this company like plague.Oh did I say they get invoice wrong all the time? (Usually they try to overcharge you on rural deliveries)

This company sucks!

This company sucks!! You Pay for an overnight service and then have to spend the next 3-4 days following them up. I live on one of the busiest streets in Lower Hutt, which by the way the driver comes down on his way home everyday!! My packages either sit in the depot for days on end or in the couriers van over the bloody weekend!! Not Once have I ever had a smooth delivery with this useless company!! I will be putting through a complaint to the commerce commission and I suggest you all do the same.

Parcel Auckland to Gisborne.

Parcel Auckland to Gisborne.
Morning pick up was seamless and my parcel got from Whangaparaoa, Auckland to Gisborne by the next afternoon. My customer said that the rather large boxed package arrived in mint condition. All tracking information was very clear including where the courier had safely left the package (because I forgot to get that information). Thanks Fastway for a great service.

Delivered to the incorrect address.

Delivered to the incorrect address - since when is 20, 20A??
The correct address was on the parcel, but the lazy courier delivered to the wrong letterbox even though 20 is well and truly visible from the road. Residents of 20a were away, so no idea it had been delivered there until I went looking 2 days later.

I'm not sure how this company keeps its…

I'm not sure how this company keeps its license. They have let me down so many times that I decided I'd never use them again. The reason I made this decision is that they insisted they had delivered a parcel when clearly my house cameras showed they'd never been near my house. And infact their own GPS tracking showed they'd gone to the wrong house. Anyway I brought something on trademe so the seller used fastway, it came flattened and part of the purchase was smashed, so we went through the, "our drivers would never do that" "our drivers are trained not to smash parcels" "it must have happened after delivery," "the sender must have sent it damaged" and more,,,,, , even though I'd sent photos to them within 10 mins of the driver putting it in my hand, oh yea, as the driver wouldn't wait till I checked the delivery, only took 3 months for a refund to replace broken parts. Just like the delivery. It was done the slow way. Very upset with FASTWAY. IF I could have given a 0 rating I would have

3 words.. horrible, pathetic and unprofessional

If there was an option to rate zero, I would gladly give it.. The staff is so unprofessional. Even the courier drivers are liars. Was at home at the time they state an effort was made to deliver the courier and just said that I missed on delivery
I will tell you why I missed it .... because the driver did not bother to knock the door or ring a bell..
