I believe the proverbial "wheels have come off" of this company. So many of my packages have been late over this past year. Not just days late...weeks!!!
Its quite clear, they no longer run the "tightest ship in the shipping business."

Lucky I'm giving one star! Would give 0 if I could! Paid for express shipping so package could be shipped following day, they made an error and wasn't shipped until 2.5 weeks later! Package still isn't at destination and this was for work, almost completely screwed my business! Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable!
"Overnight Service" should be called "Overnights Service"
A friend left their meds at my house so I paid for early morning next day/early overnight service (not cheap) to send them back. The FedEx shipment was received by my friend over 24 hours late??! And now FedEx is apparently using COVID as an excuse to not stand by their guarantee and there's no way to get your money back or even request a discount. All online or phone inquiries I've made either dead-end in a no longer active page or ask for information I don't have (there's no store number on my receipt). I have to assume that they planned on delivering my package late all along, but they LIED and charged for overnight service then made it impossible to complain directly to them. FedEx, you have one job. This is messed up.

If I could give my most recent experience with Fedex 0 stars I would. I paid a lot of money to get my phone overnight shipped to me. Took much longer than promised and then when i called customer service they told me there was nothing they could do. They have no money back guarantee, which had that been made clear when I chose to use their service, I would have never chosen to use them. I could have walked the distance faster than they delivered this to me. TERRIBLE customer service. If I am paying for overnight shipping, I should be able to expect that I am going to get that service. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Terrible service from Fedex. We shipped a package from USA to Dubai on 18th February 2021 and still did not receive it in Dubai and four weeks have gone by. Fedex are using the excuse that they have a backlog due to bad weather which is clearly false information as the weather have been clear for the past 3 weeks and they only had some snow in mid-February.
Use DHL instead as they have no delays. Fedex are a real let down

Did not deliver on original estimated delivery date, and ever since the estimated delivery has been 'pending'. When I called, I was either hung up on, kept on hold for hours, or did not get through. When I finally did get through I was told my package had been lost, and hopefully it will show up.
Woeful, appalling, shocking. I hope I never have to depend on this service again. Poor delivery service and poor customer service.

I would rather take a road trip than trust FEDEX with my package!
Their delivery driver rolled my 100 lb box off the back of his truck and then several flights of stairs to my unit. I paid $220 for the item (vintage metal drawers) and $228 for shipping. The sender paid $69 to insure it. Their driver damaged it. Despite me witnessing his laziness and the damage corresponding with damage to the item AND it being insured, they closed my claim. It took over a month and much frustration to simply get them to do the right thing and honor their insurance. I still have not received an apology, but I was told my payment is finally on its way.
$20 for 2 day delivery that took 4 days
I sent a birthday card 2 day delivery to arrive February 26 for my daughters birthday. I paid $20.50. The card arrived on February 28. I asked for a refund and was told they don’t refund. The person was like a robot and kept saying we don’t refund.
Use the US mail for the same service and only pay $.55.
There was no bad weather in CA and AZ

Fed ex is the absolute worst. If I could give them zero stars I would. I operate a business and needed items that were supposed to be delivered by Fedex a week ago. I have spoken with 9 different people who have given me nine different responses and I am so fed up. All i want is the item’s that I spent my hard earned money on and they seem like they could care less. Make a long story short, I had a family emergency and needed my ID overnighted to me, as I had forgot it when I went 12 hours away for work. Sent PRIORITY EXPRESS OVERNIGHT on 2/16. I had to fly home and needed my ID to catch a flight, I did not drive down.
1 week after the initial overnight shipment still had not been delivered (& I had to take the time off from work; thinking I would be flying home on WEDNESDAY 2/17) SO IM NOT ONLY LOSING MONEY EVERYDAY I AM UNABLE TO SEE/HELP MY FAMILY MEMBER WHO IS FELL AND HAD TO GET EMERGENCY HIP REPLACEMENT.
A weeek goes by, so I talk to someone from back home and talk to fedex, MAKING SURE that if another ID is overnighted to me IT WILL COME THE NEXT DAY. FedEx says there are no delays. I pay another $60 for overnight.
Another week goes by. (So this is now at 2 WEEKS) I HAVE NOT RECEIVED EITHER OVERNIGHT SHIPMENT. BOTH ARE SITTING AT THE FED EX HUB. Ive called emailed messaged everyone I could from fedex. 99% of the time I only get through to a robot or someone who tells me theres weather delays. (weather delays were 3 weeks ago)
So here I am, going on 2 weeks now, out almost $1,000. No way to go anywhere until I get these packages. Fedex wont bill me less, or refund me, and every answer they have given me has not been true.
The thing that made me write this, is that they blatantly DO NOT CARE about my situation. They told me yesterday (Friday) That my shipments did not have weekend delivery, (But I had them shipped early in each week so why would I need weekend delivery if I am overnighting on a TUESDAY; and im told theres no way to change the shipment at this time I have to wait until next week. AND WHO KNOWS WHAT THEIR EXCUSE WILL BE THEN. I am not alone. This happens all the time w FEDEX. Closing my account and never using them again.

If I had stock in this company I'd dump it right now. Their service has become completely unreliable. I have been trying to ship an express envelope for 5 days. For the first 3 they said they couldn't pick up (understandable because of storms). When I finally scheduled a pickup it was never done. Their phone system is terrible - the automated system asks a ton of questions and then forwards you to a live person - who's volume is so low you can't understand half the words (and this has happened in all 3 calls I made these last 5 days). And the operators have not details - only what they read on their screen. In my case "your pickup was invalid. it is rescheduled for tomorrow." Does that mean the day after it was originally scheduled or the day after today? "your pickup was invalid so it is scheduled for tomorrow" can you give me a date? "tomorrow"

This is the worst company ever!!!!! I mean EVER!!!!!! I mailed a package on December 29, 2020. As of February 19, 2021 the package has not been delivered. My package has been in Phoenix, Arizona since January 14, 2021. I have received an email from FedX everyday since January 15th saying that my package is out for delivery and will be delivered by the end of the day, but it is never delivered. I have called customer service several times and I continue to get the run around. Today I demanded to speak to a manager. The man that I was speaking to said, “OK hold on a moment while I get a manager for you.” The guy comes back to the phone and tells me that there are no managers available. I told him, “That’s OK, I will wait on hold until one can come to the phone and speak with me.” He then said, “Ma’am I don’t have a manager.” I said, “You mean to tell me you don’t have a boss.” He said, “No ma’am I do not have a boss.” I said, “So you own Fed ex?” He said, “No ma’am.” I said, “Well you just told me that you did not have a boss so I’m assuming that you are the owner of FedEx.” He said, “Ma’am all managers will be on the phone until 5 o’clock today.” I said, “So you mean to tell me all managers will be on one phone call until 5 o’clock today.” He said, “No ma’am they’re taking phone calls.” I said, “That’s fine I will be the next phone call that one of them takes.” Again he said, “Ma’am the managers will be on phone calls until 5 o’clock today.” I said, “So you’re telling me that you’re not going to take my name and phone number so one of the managers can call me back to let me know why my package has not been delivered? He said, “Ma’am we’re not allowed to make outside calls.” Then I said, “And let me guess, you also will not give me a phone number so I can call one of the managers back? You know since they are all taking phone calls until 5:00 today?” I finally hung up after that!

It is already given that a lot of States during the Winter could delay transit, the snow is thick, its hard to comply for the time due to the road blocks or even inability to drive properly and fast enough to meet the deadlines of the trucks.
However, when;
1. The scanning is being neglected, or,,, they do not scan the parcels properly chances it gets transported and will miss the appropriate tracking updates and then when you call and check it will be the last location will show up on your app. When you call the CS they will read to you the info from what you already have from your app which is ridiculous.
2. When you complain about it, chances are they will personally make sure they will mess up with you, or your parcel.
I made sure I brought up the issue when they delivered my box damaged. I complained for the second time because it happened again. But to this day,,, many parcels before and after the second incident my parcels are still damaged and delivered dirty and with holes on the box itself!!! Customer Service Advocate can not even make them meet the resolutions to this problems because the Fedex employees do not value the customers not the service that they provide. It is the experience of hundreds of people in dismay to this company that will bring them down one day. As they always say there is Karma in this world, what you give is what you get.
3. Customer Service people are impeccably unhelpful. You can tell the lack of quality to the service itself and,,, the lack of knowledge and ways on how to provide and resolve issues and problems. The chain of reaction flows respectively poor because they probably do not care about the bad reviews that they get, the company probably do not train their people well enough to understand the core value of what they pretensiously claim via their expensive advertisements on the internet or even the tv.
BUSINESS ➡️ PEOPLE➡️CUSTOMER SERVICE➡️POLICY➡️AND THEN BACK⬅️ It is a flow that will go back to the company.
I guess, a lot of workers do not care about this esp. employees because their mantra is, if the company goes down they can always look for another job.
Just Dont use Fedex as much as you can and you will avoid the pain from the hassles they cause and cost you.
I haven’t received my package yet and…
I haven’t received my package yet and will update this when I receive it. I bought a last minute additional valentines present for my partner and got the 2-3 day shipping option. I ordered it on Thursday at 11:34 and they claim there is same day shipping if you order before noon. Even if I didn’t get same day shipping I expected it to ship the next day, Friday. Nope. It finally shipped on Saturday from Tennessee. I live in CA so it has a decent way to travel. I knew it wasn’t going to get here on Sunday but I hoped it would arrive on Monday. It is now Monday morning and it is still there. It isn’t even expected until Wednesday. Not sure how that is 2-3 day shipping if it arrives a week later.
Update 1: Wednesday no package the delivery estimate now changed to pending. They are saying there is extreme weather in Memphis which is causing delays. They have gotten 5in of snow and throughout the week they have received a low on 9 and a high of 30. In my opinion that isn’t very severe. Especially since it has been sunny on multiple days. I can’t request a refund since they say there is bad weather. Here’s a fun thing. FedEx policy says they can delay a package do to nation wide weather conditions. It doesn’t even matter if the weather is on the route. I’m so annoyed that so many companies choose FedEx.
