FedEx

It appears FedEx is now hiring delivery drivers who suffer from dyslexia. I made a purchase on eBay, the package was marked as delivered, it was not delivered to my address. I filed a claim with eBay and FedEx for a refund of my purchase price, over $40.00, it was denied. So now I'm out everything. What do I do now? Goodbye eBay, goodbye FedEx, hello Amazon.

FedEx customer service is non-existent

FedEx customer service is non-existent. This used to be my go-to company for shipping, unfortunately their customer service has tanked since June.

3 packages never arrived, even though the text app said delivered. Final straw was this last week when a scheduled delivery (paid extra) for Saturday by noon was inexplicably moved to Monday by 8 pm. On Monday, the delivery driver pulled into the parking lot, delivered to 2 other buildings, and left. As the truck pulled out of the parking lot, I received a text that the package would be re-delivered as I had not been home for delivery.

The driver had never come to my door, and I had to reschedule appointments a second time to accommodate FedEx failure to deliver on SATURDAY. I found out the package had been sitting on the recieving dock floor since Friday afternoon.

This is utterly ridiculous. Their own employees tried to help from the distribution center, but they were also hung up on by the automated phone service the rest of us have to deal with.

I feel sorry for their employees, who are seemingly being sabotaged by their own drivers.

FedEx less expensive more customer focused

Despite internet information to the contrary, FedEx appears to be less expensive and more accommodating. Here's my experience:
Tried to use UPS Website to ship package. Application generated 2 shipping labels. One viewable the other not. Two bills generated on my Credit Card Account. One for $65.97, One for $82.57. Undisclosed charges were included for "extra's" like a confirming email. Went to local UPS office for assistance. They said the only thing they did was tape labels and take money. Wanted more money for extra packaging.
Went to FedEx. Handed them my package, they supplied necessary extra packaging at no charge. Total cost $61.26 for next day AIR(no charges for pkg, email alerts, etc.) Pkg delivered next day before noon.

ARE PACKAGES POLITICAL CANDIDATES NOW?

RIGHT THIS MOMENT, my package, due 6 days ago is in some other state playing hopscotch north, south, east and west of me like some kind of mad sadistic gme of 'KEEP AWAY' as if they are ACTUALLY and INTENTIONALLY doing this to cause me pain, suffering, mental anguish and everything else one would use in a civil lawsuit , and then when I PHONED them, they HUNG UP when I REJECTED their UTTERLY BULLCRAP LIES and EXCUSES for why it did not go DIRECTLY TO ME AS ADVERTISED, which is REQUIRED BY LAW.

They are a shameless, scurvy, worthless, lowdown useless crappy excuse for a parcel delivery company!

I have screen captures to PROVE EVERYTHING if people want to see them.

I have been saving this for my federal liability and racketeering lawsuit against them.

THERE SIMPLY IS ZERO EXCUSE FOR THIS CRAP!

Lazy driver

Lazy driver not even bothering to come into our apartment complex. Just passing without stopping and reporting a delivery exception. Twice for my order within a week.

Why I hate Fed-Ex

#1 - I HATE FEDEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time after time, after time, after time Some 'company' ships by FedEx - and it has time, after time, time been an absolute NIGHTMARE. They hire the dumbest drivers, surely the scrap the bottom of the barrel for drivers - We have 3' x 4' sign mounted to our gate with our address written white on black in 1' letter, and still the idots go right past - down the road, and on returning from the dead end of the road = they pass it twice and con not see it - nor will they Call even though our phone number is on the package. We have talked to the Billings office twice - left explicit directions twice and still their drivers go right past -time and time again.

One star is far more than they deserve.

Package left outside of the building

FedEx delivery personnels absolutely do not care about the customers packages. They delivered a package for me and left it outside of the building, like who on god’s green earth would do that? Not a person with a functional brain I assume.

My second review of FedX in 6 weeks

My second review of FedX in 6 weeks. Even worst than the 1st. Ordered a part from Charbroil. FedX received it 10/12 in Georgia. Arrived in Edison NJ afternoon of 10/15. That's not too bad. Now it's scheduled for delivery 10/19. Come on now it's just over an hour from my house and it's going to take 4 days to arrive. Think it must be farmed out to the pony express.

On 9/10/20 my son sent me three large…

On 9/10/20 my son sent me three large 50 lb boxes through Parcel Monkey and then got picked up by FedEx In Albuquerque to be shipped to Florida. All three parcels were scanned in Albuquerque, but only 2 of them made it to Florida. I have been on the phone with FedEx many times trying to find my package. I have been lied to by supervisors saying they would try to track it down and they would get back to me which never happened. Everyone I have spoken to just nonchalantly just keep saying I guess it’s lost we’ll just file a claim for you, but I do NOT want to close this case as I NEED that package-it contains ALL of my medical records and it was the only reason I kept my storage unit for 3 years (totaling $2,700 over 3 years). How do you lose a 50 pound package? Also, the 2 packages that did get here were torn and open. I took pictures but I can’t upload them here. On top of all that, I just got notification Parcel Monkey was taking $38 more out of my account and said that the weight was wrong. That is not true as all 3 packages were weighed on the same shipping scale twice each for accuracy-AND if that were truly the case why would they tell me that over a month later. I’m disgusted with this company. I’ve lost ALL my important paperwork and many hours searching for my life.

Dump Deliveries

If it weren't for 'Cast Away', I'm sure this company would've been out of business by now. What a bunch of amateurs! Four months ago I received a payment notification in a text message as my package was supposedly held. As I had used a just expired credit card, payment bounced but the package was delivered anyway. I didn't receive any follow-up communication. Until of course I had another package coming via FedEx. I received an email this time saying I had to pay both invoices. Fair enough so I did, successfully this time. Altogether I had to pay about 24% of the total value of my orders! That's nearly 1/4th! Do you understand how completely insane that is? FedEx doesn't even bother to explain how they calculated this amount. Where's all this money going to? What's it used for? Do they have any sense of transparency? All I can find on your website is a 10 (!) page confusing PDF about these rates.
The first order involved Monkey Lights bike lights (USA), the second was a Montanc Vacuum cleaner (Korea). Both Kickstarter projects. So for supporting new technologies and startup businesses, I'm being punished. But if I'd buy endless amounts of crap from Wish or AliExpress, it's all being sent to my doorstep at no additional charge.

But okay, I can complain about prices and clumsy payment methods like anyone else. It may not be fair. The worst part about this company is their shocking 'dump delivery', which makes the above look like a very tiny issue.

DUMP DELIVERY?
Yep. This is the second time FedEx just dumped my important package in the streets! Last time they dumped it near my mailbox and this time they dumped it at the front door of a neighbor that lives 5 houses away from me. At both times there was someone at home but no one ringed our door or tried to call us. The delivery update was sent at 6:46pm, stating the package was delivered at 1:15pm. So for 5 and a half hours, I didn't even know it was delivered. They didn't even leave a note. Nothing. The sheer lack of respect for one's property is astounding! The people at FedEx are nothing but criminals that should not be handling any goods. I have no issues with any of the other delivery services. FedEx is by far the worst and most expensive delivery service I've ever experienced.

Pretty bad ! Damaged packages , torn security tape and packaging tape , crushed boxes ,filthy soiled soft packaging , always late in day not before 5:30 on many times later even though they start before 8am. Plain and simple , don,t ,use them for anything expensive or anything you absolutely need! Unreliable! Garbage! What they used to be is no more!

If I could give them zero stars I…

If I could give them zero stars I would! This is my second bad review pertaining to Fedex though I have had many disappointing encounters with this courier service. I am waiting on a package, which I have already paid for, once again the track which it took make absolutely no sense. From Nashville to Indianapolis then finally to Chattanooga. Despite this unexplainable path my package took it still managed to reach my local Fedex two days before my “estimated date of delivery”. I have spoke with Fedex and because it arrived two days before this estimated date it, according to them, must remain at the warehouse until said date arrives then and only then can it be released to be delivered. When did it become practice for a courier service to hold packages because they arrived before an estimated date of delivery?? I asked Fedex this and they were unable to reply!!! I will never again purchase from a company that uses Fedex or Fedex SmartPost again! I would rather pay more for delivery than rely on this pathetic excuse of a company!!

I would say if you want to send…

I would say if you want to send something to Russia make sure they will ask you to pay but would never deliver it.
The FedEx manager accepted my package , made a shipping label for me , but package was returned back because of some regulations.
They did not return my money back and just said I did not provide them enough information. What ??? What about your FedEx location managers who are supposed to get any information FedEx needS from me if I pay 155 dollars.
Who is not FedEx managers can provide me all the details and specifications.
It was waist of money

Terrible customer service. Can’t recommend

I have received a gift from USA and imagine my surprise when I got an invoice to pay over 1.100dk for a package which value was 200$. After contacting them multiple times I only got brushed off answers which did not help me to understand from where did they take such an amount I have to pay for import taxes. I have also contacted danish tax authorities to find out why I have to pay so much and even the lady at the office was surprised for such an amount. In addition they calculate the value of a package double so I had to pay import tax of 400$ and enormous amount of money for tax for freight. Can’t recommend at all!
