I booked my car in for a service but had to reschedule. Due to day change with work.
I get very anxious with anything to do with the car. I found Lorraine Davis to be very patient and helpful and re arrange for me, a real credit to the company. On the day of the service, I was treated professionally, offered a warm drink and advised how long service would take and other enquiries I had. Nicolas Sinclair and Charlie Finch were very helpful as well as service team. Fantastic!

Bought a Vauxhall Corsa from FG Barnes in Guildford. The car has been great and the service from the dealership has been genuinely outstanding. Had a couple of bits to resolve post purchase and all has been dealt with with ease. Great customer service, quick and no hassle solutions. A very easy 5 out of 5. Nothing not to like.

Very poor experience with North…
Very poor experience with North Yvelines agency manager (France).
She was of no help at all despite her promises to defend her customer interest for the sale of a well located 107 m2. Reason was that the proposed buyer of the apartment was a very good friend of her.
When asked to assist for a counter proposal since the original offer was low, she did not contribute and use arguments such as poor market, few customers etc...
Two complete reports in French have been sent to Barnes General Manager, based in Paris. I also mailed him my comment on Barnes answer to my original « avis » published on Immodvisor ( the appropriate media for real estate properties).
I think this dispute must remain between Barnes France and myself.

Collection could be better.
Sale was fine. On collection carpets not in car. After spending £14,000 thought they would have at least given us a full tank of petrol. Instead we were told there’s a garage just outside where I had to put £65 worth in.

Improve communication
I have used FG Barnes on several occassions and I am generally happy with the work they do. But they need to communicate with me better. whenever I bring my car in, I need to leave it with them and walk into town to amuse myself whilst the work is done and wait for them to call me to let me know it's ready to collect. However, every time, I have to either call them or just turn up as it gets near to closing time.
