SCAM WEBSITE! BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!

I was deceived by this false advertising on their website: https:// filippo.store/ products/Homestar

I thought I was purchasing a 60,000 stars Original Home Planetarium and was fraudulently duped. I'm going to share some crucial facts about my case with Flippo aka Applepods.Ltd. I feel this is of utmost importance because it will serve to protect future customers and help them avoid the mistake that I made when I thought I was getting a great "deal" on a product.

1. Flippo/Applepods.Ltd refuses to acknowledge the fact that they are advertising a product on their website that is not even remotely close to the product they are shipping out. Even after pointing out to Flippo/Applepod.Ltd and to PayPal they have not taken any steps to update the website that continues to falsely advertise the product.

2. I realize it is Paypal policy that the seller is not required to pay for return shipping. I agree with that policy when it is the customer's choice to return an item. However, I feel that my case is different. I don't feel that I should have to pay for return shipping when there is fraudulent activity involved. PayPal has taken no steps to prevent this seller from continuing to illegally advertise and sell products using PayPal services as a payment option. PayPal's $0 liability buy protection is a complete lie. They have not stepped in to assist in any way. Flippo/Applepods.Ltd continues to falsely advertise the product on their website.

3. Applepods.Ltd seems very intent in pointing out that if the package arrives damaged, or in any condition other than "mint condition" they are not willing to issue my refund. They have mentioned this in each of their comments, which leads me to believe they will be scrutinizing every little detail of the package and find a reason why the will not issue my full refund. I want to highlight that the packaging the product was originally shipped in was grossly insufficient. I have detailed photos of the package's condition when I received it. You can clearly see the package appears to have been roughly handled in transit, although the outside packaging shows no wear, nor tears. The condition of the product box does not align with the condition of the shipping envelope. This indicates that this package has been previously owned, or previously returned. You can clearly see the package has been opened excessively, to the point that the top package flaps have been torn. In addition the product box is no longer a cubic shape. It appears to have been crushed excessively on all sides of the box.

4. It does not makes sense for me to attempt to return this package because the cost of international shipping far exceeds the price of the product. I obtained 3 quotes from 3 couriers and the cheapest shipping fees were through USPS at around $96. The total cost of the fake planetarium I received was $46.98USD.

My advice is to stay far away from this scam company Flippo/ApplePods,Ltd. and be very careful when using PayPal as a payment option because they will not step in to help you even when you have a strong case of fraud that can be back up with sufficient documentation.

I fell for the planetarium

I fell for the planetarium, lost my money.
Paypal says I can get the money back if I return the rubbish product and that would cost me 42 euros. I will spread the scam to the world.

Scam Artists

Scam Artists! Ordered the Home Planetarium for my son for Christmas and like others received a cheap dollar store quality "Star Master" toy. No reply to my emails. Lost 50 dollars US. Hard lesson learned. STAY AWAY from Filippo.com and don't trust random ads on social media regardless of how amazing something looks.

I also received a "star master" (a pathetic plastic lamp of stenciled stars that doesnt even have enough strength of light to shine the stars on anything), instead of the 60000 star original home planetarium I ordered. Their response has been more scamming and exploiting of paypal, saying I can only get a full refund if I send the piece of plastic junk back at my own expense, because paypal wont make them pay me back if I havent sent it back. Argggghh. It is not worth the postage let alone the carbon footprint of flying it back to China. I have escalated this with paypal and hope there is a way to blacklist them from paypal and shut these scammers down!!!!

Also the seller appears to have removed their contact on their site. Tried to call seller on packaging but number is a fake. Luckley I bought with paypal so going to try to talk to them. Will not use this site again.
