Ordered an N Guage FeederRod on 2/8, received a tracking email from Evri stating it would be delivered Wednesday 7/8, on the Wednesday received another email from the appalling Evri to say due to an unexpected delay the parcel wouldn’t be delivered that day & they were working hard to get it out ASAP, absolutely nothing from Evri or Fishing Republic on the Thursday or Friday morning until I contacted both companies, the item had been “ damaged beyond economical repair during transit, I contacted both companies again & Evri ( can’t speak to a human) just passed the buck vis their “chat to us robot”, Fishing Republic weren’t much better, I requested a refund & was told it’ll take up to 5 working days for the refund to be processed, yet they can take your money within seconds, no offer of we can source an alternative & you can pick it up, the rod was ordered for a weekend away as a result of the returns / refund policy I couldn’t go out & buy a replacement,
Having spent upwards of £80 / £100 most months through both FR & GO using Evri ( not my choice) to deliver the items I’m not the least surprised that these items get damaged/ stolen in transit, the packaging that FR / GO puts them in is not robust enough to be used in transit via Evri who must drag / throw the boxes across the warehouse floors/ couriers vans only for the drivers to then throw the boxes on the driveway in the pouring rain.
Lesson learnt Shop Local & give your business to a local tackle shop, thanks to Burscough Angling Supplies for going out of their way to source the product, FR / GO & Evri not a good combination & certainly not Customer focussed

The order arrived only after 2 weeks. I think it was the courier's fault. Unfortunately, everything was only poorly wrapped in foil and the courier left everything loose by the door. I'll see how the rods work on the water. Unfortunately, I know that the reels are of low quality

Next day delivery my xxxx!
Been waiting for what seems like an eternity now. Very poor, having spent nearly £200! Couldn't wait to take my money, now I want a refund they Couldn't care less. they don't open customer service at weekends, even though they advise on line that its 24/7! Should have used Angling direct! Lessons learnt, DON'T GO HERE!

Three items in my order were damaged or broken.
One item was actually held together with sellotape. Very poir quality items. I have ordered in the region of £300 worth of Westlake products from Fishing Republuc, Blacks,Go Outdoors and Millets but will not buy again. Almost every item is defective or very pkir quality.
Customer service do not respond to emails or phone calls.
Return portal does not work and buyer is expected to pay postage for returning damaged items.
All in all zero stars. USELESS. I have seen your response! I have emailed you but you did not respond. I phoned got no response sent images no response. Its all smoke and mirrors. Millets told me to take defective goods to my nearest Blacks store? Thats miles away, i am dissabled and dont drive.

I made a large order with fishing republic part of this order included bait boxes. When the order arrived all the boxes had no lids making them useless, I sent them an email and they agreed to post out replacements which I was happy with at the time. A few days later the replacements arrived all the boxes had the wrong lids, the bait boxes are advertised as live bait boxes, in every picture on the website they have a perforated lid with breathing holes to keep live bait alive, in the discription it clearly says “Manufactured with a secure lid for easy closure and ventilation holes to lengthen the lifespan of live bait.” And on the features section it clearly states “ventilation holes” as a feature so all the replacements came with solid lids with no holes that are useless for live bait and the whole reason I bought them. I emailed again to try and get the correct lids (what was clearly advertised) and got an email back saying these are how they come and if I want I can post them back, staff took no ownership of the issue no effort to locate the proper lids they’d advertised no apology for having an advert that is completely misleading and actually advertises a completely different product. Why should it be down to the customer to start posting items they never even wanted just because the company is selling something that is completely different to what they are actually advertising. So now I have boxes that are no use because if I use the lids given none of the live bait will survive it’s been weeks since I made the original order and so far it’s been made clear by the customer service staff that they do not care. Site does have some good deals but beware that what you buy may not be what you get and customer service when things go wrong is probably the worst I’ve had from a fishing company very disappointed.
