I recently ordered a tent and a sleeping bag. Took a good while for the order to actually process and when it did the bag went though as a refund. No email explaining why, no apology, no 'here's a code/free delivery next time' kind of thing most companies would offer.
Wouldn't have ordered through them if one item was out of stock as I don't like paying delivery if bulk buying. Tried emailing but just got a reply asking em for the life story of my order (I'd already provided the order number). Just gonna give them a swerve from here on in.

I've had the same issue as other reviewers, paid with PayPal and then the FR website has a critical error. This has happened twice now, but my order arrived last time and is on its way this time.
FR - please do not give me an email address to contact you on, you must be aware that you have an issue with your website, just sort it out!

THINKING THEY WERE A SMALL INDEPENDENT COMPANY, I ORDERED A SLEEPING BAG FROM THEM. I PAID EXTRA FOR THEIR NEXT DAY DELIVERY. MONEY WAS DEDUCTED FROM MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT BUT I NEVER RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM THEM ACKNOWLEDGING MY ORDER. THE BAG NEVER CAME THE NEXT DAY, SUNDAY, SO ON THE MONDAY I CALLED THEM. THEY SAID THEY'D HAD TROUBLE WITH THE COMPUTERS OVER THE WEEKEND AND WOULD SEND ME AN EMAIL WITH THE ORDER NUMBER, ETC. IT NEVER CAME AND STILL HASN'T. THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T DELIVER ON A SUNDAY. I REPLIED THAT THIS SHOULD BE MENTIONED IN THEIR ADVERT. THEY REIMBURSED ME THE EXTRA MONEY I'D PAID ON POSTAGE. THEY PROMISED THAT THEY WOULD CONTACT EVRI AND IT WOULD BE DELIVERED ON TUESDAY. GUESS WHAT? YES, IT NEVER CAME THEN EITHER. CALLED THEM AGAIN, SAME THING, TERRIBLY SORRY, THEY WOULD TEXT AND CALL ME REGARDING WHEN IT WOULD BE DELIVERED. THURSDAY ARRIVED, 5 DAYS AFTER I HAD ORDERED THE BAG, AND I HAD STILL NOT HAD AN EMAIL ACKNOWLEDGING MY PURCHASE OR ANY UPDATES AS TO WHEN I WAS LIKELY TO RECEIVE IT. I SAID THAT I'D HAD ENOUGH AND WOULD LIKE ALL MY MONEY REIMBURSED AND THAT I WOULD BUY THE SAME BAG FROM A SHOP CALLED GO OUTDOORS, 2 OF WHICH WERE WITHIN 5 MILES OF WHERE I LIVE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO THIS AND THAT ACTUALLY THEY WERE PART OF THE GO OUTDOORS GROUP. I SAID COULD THEY ARRANGE WITH THE LOCAL SHOP TO SELL ME THE SAME BAG FOR THE ONLINE PRICE AS AN ACT OF GOODWILL. THEY SAID YES. I PUT THE PHONE DOWN AND WITHIN MILLISECONDS MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT HAD RECEIVED THE REFUND AND EVRI SENT ME AN EMAIL TO SAY THEIR DELIVERY HAD BEEN CANCELLED!! SO THEY CAN WORK QUICKLY IF THEY NEED TO. I ASKED WHY THEY NEVER TEXTED /EMAILED/CALLED ME OVER THE 5 DAYS AS THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND THEY REPLIED THAT AS NOTHING HAD HAPPENED IT WASN'T WORTH IT. I SAID THAT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN POLITE TO HAVE TOLD ME THAT.
SO, I WENT OFF TO THE GO OUTDOORS SHOP AND PURCHASED A BAG FOR THE ONLINE PRICE. THE MANAGER ASKED WHAT HAD BEEN THE TROUBLE WITH FISHING REPUBLIC AND LAUGHED, YES, LAUGHED AT ALL THE TROUBLE I HAD ENDURED. I SAID I DID NOT THINK IT WAS FUNNY. TO ORDER A BAG ON SATURDAY WITH A GUARANTEE THAT IT WOULD BE DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY AND 5 DAYS LATER IT STILL HADN'T ARRIVED, I HAD TO MAKE ENDLESS CHASING UP PHONE CALLS AND THEN HAD TO DRIVE TO ONE OF THEIR STORES, WAS NOT FUNNY. HE APOLOGISED AND SAID IT WASN'T MY TALE OF WOE HE WAS LAUGHING AT BUT SOMETHING ELSE. REALLY?!?!
BEWARE! NEVER BUY FROM THIS HIGHLY DISORGANISED, RUDE, INCAPABLE EMPORIUM. A REAL HEADACHE, NEVER AGAIN, THERE'S PLENTY MORE SHOPS TO BUY SIMILAR GOODS FROM.

Ordered a new bivvy , once paid via PayPal error occurred . Have no order number or any info about order and web site won’t let me contact them or log into account , so now going to have to try and get a refund , to save yourself stress and a headache shop elsewhere. Update. Dpd emailed on the 28th stating they are waiting for my order and bivvy got delivered today. If fishing republic could look into there admin problems when ordering than I am sure you would get more better reviews.

So many issues when ordering online. Last time I ordered I had to phone as over 2 weeks went by and no items. I chased this annd was told everything I ordered was out of stock and they would refund me. We are talking at least 8 items. Not the first time I’ve had issues. So this week I get an email saying 15% of all bait. I thought give them another chance. Put the order through, money gone, critical error message on the website and looks like I’ve got no order and now no money. The msg says to phone a number. Again I have to chase.

Made an order for next day delivery 7 days ago and it still hasn’t left the warehouse. I’ve spoken to customer service 3 days in a row and all they have to say is the warehouse team are looking into it. It doesn’t take 3 days to look in a warehouse for a product let alone get it shipped. I was very patient at first but after being told the same thing again and again I am fuming. I think it is lost or damaged and no one in the warehouse will admit it because I don’t believe it takes 3 working days to look for a product in the warehouse. Never had a delivery drama like this before

If I could give a zero then I would. Ordered a rod at a great price, website crashes, but paypal confirms payment taken. No emails confirming order. Rod arrives damaged. Have to order again after refund. Rod now jumped in price to nearly double what I paid, no problem they say...wait until it shows in stock on website and order again at that price and we will refund the difference. Ordered again (twice now) and again website crashes but order is taken only to have the purchase refunded twice as "out of stock" this despite it being shown available on website. Promises made regards price and not upheld...phone calls not made as promised and calls I make not returned. Still waiting for a response!
2nd time ordering from Fishing Republic and 2nd time had to get refund as items never turned up.

My order was rejected after payment was taken by PayPal, looks like an item in my order sold out after I had clicked order.
No response received from Fishing Republic customer care email address when I contacted them.
I've got no problem with stock issues stopping an order, but I absolutely do have issues with it happening after payment is taken and with no response from Fishing Republic.
I've now raised a case with PayPal, but apparently it could take weeks for this to go through.
Edit: It got worse! I emailed the address Farhan told me to email, but received no reply. And since then I had a mail delivery failure notification telling me that emails can't be delivered to the fishingrepublic customer care email address.
Edit number 2: Problem appears to be entirely with their email system, both in terms of emails coming in & going out. My package arrived on time, with tracking details from the courier ahead of that. So good products but poor communications.

Absolutely waste of time company
They have Never got the items you need
Then when they have got themEVRI lose them and you never get them
Then they offer you £30 plus postage on a new order
You make the order recieve it and sent fishing republic the order number
And they don’t give you what they promised
I would not recommend them
If your looking for anything go to angling direct and get it the next day

Placed an order yesterday for various small pieces of tackle and money was taken out my account immediately but no confirmation email sent, When I went to my fishing republic account and put in email address and password it come up with email not verified so I have no confirmation if this order has been recieved or confirmation of when delivery will be despite paying next day delivery an absolute farce of a company.
