Decking only been completed 2 years (10 yr warranty) and its fading and warping. Took Fitrite 2 months to reply after the threat of court action. Fitrite still refuse to replace our deck which they have admitted there are issues with!! They state all over their website its a no fade product, believe me and many others I have found it does fade time and time again and its the same story, Fitrite refuse to honour their warranty. Quick to want payment then unwilling to sort the issues out. Fitrite's answer to me was apply a colour restorer to a product THEY state won't fade!!! Avoid at all costs.

To who ever it may concern, It made it great as we had the best guys , Lee and Chalky. Both were absolutely brilliant and Lee in my opinion is so very committed to his job and very proud in what he is doing, especially when he stands back and looks at the finishing product. He was so very proud of his work I enjoyed having such friendly people , Lee and chalky. Any concerns I had , they were eager to make sure I was happy with everything from start to finish. What smashing guys . Well done, it was a pleasure to have you both do such a wonderful and amazing job. I love my new new patio, my sunshine corner Thank you . Lesley and David

Decking fitted September 2024, work completed on the day, wrong gate fitted too small, completed replacement work following day.

Returned to caravan this season in May 2025, decking post caps peeling, clips loose on joins white showing the green on bannister, bannister loose on stairs, promised days to repair over the last 4 months, you are always chasing them never complete work when promised!! 10 year warranty promised hasn't lasted a year!! Decking without the hassle is not the truth, still awaiting repair empty promises and apologises.

The team of Simon Lewis, Richard, Stuart and Lucas were absolutely professional with the sub base of my massive deck, finished in week 1 in sunshine . The decking itself took a further 4 days in rainy weather conditions. I have to admit that this service and the workforce are one of the best contracted work experienced. No more heavy maintenance on wood decking, just a quick wash down and no chance of slipping on wet decking. Well done and thanks to Amanda in Head Office and Sam too. Brilliant job guys.

Paul &Josh who did the installation were highly skilled nothing was to much trouble. I was completely impressed with their professionalism. I would definitely have no hesitation in recommending this business.

Eery aspect of our decking and pergola installation was great....price was good, great quality materials and absolutely excellent service from Mick and the team, with amazing attention to detail

I’m going to split my review into separate components:

Meeting with the designer was straightforward and paperwork was received quickly. He was less interested when I wanted help to find out where my fitters had got to though!
The company let me down on a booking date with the fitters failing to turn up! However, when I finally managed to speak to the right person, (I wasn’t called back!) this was promptly sorted by Amanda and it was fitted a week later than originally planned.

Fitting; it was noted when designed, that due to the slope in my garden a skip and a mini digger would be needed. However, the company didn’t organise these for the fitters Jay and Lee, (not sure on name spellings) who ended up hand- digging large quantities of rock hard soil, and then having to barrow, and lift it on to their flatbed, so not an easy task, all this when the temperature was over 30 degrees! As a result of not being given the correct tools for the job, they also had to work late over both days to complete the work in time. Add in the fact that they had a minimum 2 hour drive each way and their day would have finished around 8.30pm at best! I’m not impressed by a company that treats its workers so poorly!

Thus, I can’t fault the lads’ work ethic and diligence, they were both extremely hard-working, and took time to find proper solutions to the many challenges encountered during the installation. As a single female, I felt comfortable with them being here and they respected my views. I’d happily give five stars for them, but only 3 for the company, hence four overall!

Thank you to my fitters who were superb, and I’m very happy with how my deck looks and functions so far!

I damaged 3 of the panels in April. Now I have been chasing the company to come and do the repair but nothing done so far. I have asked them to send the board panel and I will get them replaced privately but they would not even offer that.

Paul and Josh worked tirelessly until the work was completed. Very happy with the end result. Enthusiastic and polite workers who were very helpful explaining each step of the process. Thank you. Will definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Deposit was paid promptly. And after the job was completed, we had a few days before we could check, then paid the balance. After a few weeks the skirting had started to bulge. We emailed the rep, who emailed back saying it would be passed on to the relevant department. After another month, the site manager said he had a contact there, and called them straight away. The guy said that it was not good costumer service, and said it would get sorted. Yet another month has past. I emailed them again. Two weeks later, not even an acknowledgement. Plenty of other companies out there. I wish I had used one.

Stewart and Chalky have done an outstanding job of our decking. They both where hardworking professional and went above and beyond.
Unfortunately I felt that Fitrite asked for an unreasonable request when they had to work from 8 to 10 to complete the job on time as they hardly had a break and worked through one of the hottest days this year. As a customer the impression did not sit right for me as the job was not given enough days for them to comfortably finish without working like slaves. Not good ethics and definitely not good to treat hardworking loyal employees.

I reported a problem which needed to be looked at my Caravan Veranda and Step Design fitted by Fitrite in May 2022.Gwynfair Caravan Park Anglesey.
Reasonably pleased with the fitting originally but the after Sales Service to sort the problem out is very poor indeed.
It’s been over 8 weeks and I have had no update only to say someone will be attending to it.

I had a decking installed under the supervision of Chis Cunningham who did a brilliant job. Unfortunately Chis no longer works for Fitrite. After care was assigned to Mark Harding who refused to look into a leak underneath the decking without an upfront payment of £500 which I finally agreed pay to after getting fed up with chasing for several weeks. When the decking was finally lifted on 13/06/25, I took pictures which clearly demonstrated the drain pipe underneath was wedged in the wrong place leading to the overflow underneath. I sent these pictures to the company requesting they look into it but have not received a reply to date. This sadly has been my experience with the aftercare.

I would like to say what a great company Fitrite are. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Emma measuring up and suggesting what was possible and fitting the job in quickly to help us out. The two installers that arrived, Chris & Kos were so helpful to our needs and bent over backwards to fit around us. They done a fantastic job of our decking and made sure we were 100% happy with everything before they left. I cannot recommend this company enough. The team have been amazing from start to finish and the job looks a lot better than we expected.
Our neighbours really like it and are getting a quote as we speak.
I would highly recommend Fitrite and say thank you to all the team involved.
Use Fitrite for quality, professionalism and craftsmanship.

From Kelly who did our measure and estimate to Rob and Shaun who did the fitting, service from this company was excellent. Very slight starting delay ( two days) due to bad weather the previous week but we were kept informed and can’t do anything about the weather .
The deck we had fitted was exactly as we wanted and we couldn’t be more pleased. When it comes time to replace our fencing or sheds we won’t hesitate to contact Fitrite again

If I could give a zero star rating... I would.

Be very careful when dealing with this company. The installed the incorrect trimming when installing, which was raised with the install team. I was told to contact head office and they would arrange to come back and fit the correct one which was confirmed in writing by a colleague in the head office.

This colleague has now left the business and they are refusing to do this and insisting that I pay. They also very conveniently store the trimming / skirting order colour on a seperate order page which the customer apparently has no access to on their order confirmation page to give another form of proof of what was ordered.

Over 6 weeks, no response, with head of department and company directors included in the e-mails.

Happy to take your money with no interest in post service. Gone are the days of companies doing right by their customers. Recommend you avoid AT ALL COSTS.

Just had new skirted decking and steps fitted to our caravan and I have to say we are absolutely delighted with the quality, value and standard of workmanship. The whole process from receiving an estimate to completion of works was easy and efficient and the advice offered and expertise of all involved was 1st class.
I would thoroughly recommend Fitrite, they are a credit to the industry.

I've just had a new balcony built by fitrite I could not be more satisfied. The fitters that carried out the build( chalky and morgan) were 1st class in every way .every little detail was carried out to perfection and the job only took two days start to finish plus they worked throughout the mini heatwave we had without complaining. A credit to the firm. Strongly recommend
