So easy to deal with from dropping the car off to picking it up. The repair was completed to a high standard. I have nothing whatsoever to complain about and it even came back washed and hoovered 😁

They gave the car back to me faulty. The body work was fixed but the electrics weren’t wired correctly and the car is now not locking and unlocking correctly (they had the vehicle for over a month). When I called back to advise that there was a problem and that I was going to be away for two weeks so the car would potentially be left unlocked for that time due to them giving it back to me faulty, they initially tried to arrange a time today to pick it up (I go on holiday tomorrow morning) but I said I’d be at work until 5 so it would have to be after then. The woman on the phone said that they couldn’t come after 5 so I asked the question: what should I do about the fact that the car is going to be left unlocked for 2 weeks whilst I’m away if they can’t pick it up? The woman was incredibly rude and kept talking over me, didn’t answer or address any of my questions at all, just kept repeating the same thing as if reading off a script ‘we can collect between 8:30 and 5 today but it won’t be 5 because the drivers finish at 5’. I said okay that’s fine but my question is: ‘what happens to the vehicle for two weeks when left unlocked whilst I’m away because it’s been given back to me faulty?’ They were given ample time to resolve this issue as like I say, the car has been with them for over a month. They were also advised in advance two weeks ago that I was going away on the 15th January so everything would need to be resolved by then.
She asked if I could drop it off and I said I can but I would need a courtesy car to get home (as I’m disabled and this is a Motability car - which is possibly the worst part, this garage is contracted by motability to fix mobile vehicles and treats people like dirt). They couldn’t give me the courtesy car back and just repeated again that someone would be here before 5, but I’m not going to be home. So rude I am absolutely appalled. I sincerely hope that they are now liable for the security issue of my car being left outside for two weeks not locking correctly. Will be contacting my insurance company.

I was very pleased with the service especially the replacement car which was new an upmarket automatic Toyota to replace my automatic Aygo. It seemed a long time to be repaired but my car was very clean and I am very happy with the repair. Only criticism was the driver who returned my car put the handbrake on so hard I was unable to move it at all. I had to ask a neighbour to help and even he had difficulty loosening it.

Crash repair slow (5 weeks). Albeit crossing Christmas week.
Repair good when it arrived.
A secure excess payment made easy.

The repair of the car was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Can’t fault Auto Technics in any way. smooth collection process for my car, kept informed of progress of repair which was completed 1 week earlier than forecast and then car returned to me. Bodywork repair only. Looks very good!! Damage to car was relatively minor but Auto did very well with what needed to be done. God forbid I would need to use them again? Would I? Absolutely!!

Mothers car was placed in Fix Auto Glasgow by the insurer for cosmetic damage to be repaired following a minor collision.
The standard of work to say the least was shocking, they were allowed a further three attempts at correcting the work only for it to come back worse on each occasion, I mean who would mask a decal when repainting a panel, seriously poor practice. Nearside door looks like a plaster board wall that's been sanded poorly, thats just one point.
Then there is the customer service following such poor workmanship, management fighting and questioning an independent engineers report on the substandard work causing more stress and upset to the customer.

Eventually rectified at a competent repair centre.

Avoid this place at all costs very poor indeed.

Workmanship was good, difficult to get a good car pick up/drop off time as delivery/collection slots were entire days and not on weekends making it challenging to have undriveable car cays in collected. Initial insurance request was also accidentally cancelled leading to a delay of several days in collecting car.

they were courteous at reception, the courtesy car was immaculate and good size.
The repair work appears to be perfect.
