Requested a quote on 2/27 and sent a second request a few days later. Nobody ever reached out to me on a quote. Company does not seem to be concerned with customer service.

THIS COMPANY WILL LOSE YOUR ITEMS, DAMAGE AND SEND ANYONE FROM CRAIGSLIST... BE VERY CAREFUL!!!
If I could rate this company -5 i would. This company moved us from Brooklyn to St Louis and it was a complete disaster. Be very careful these guys have absolutely no idea. They lost a huge expensive floor rug, like it never showed up, no apology nothing. Also an antique mirror was missing too. They broke a number of glass items, sent us movers here in St Louis who where chosen from Craigslist, not referenced, these guys made us feel uncomfortable asking us questions about ho much this this item would cost, how much we purchased pur home for, to tip them directly cash and not through FlatRate as they take too much commission and tried to make us call management to release their pay as they wanted to leave without un packing. It was a complete NIGHTMARE. They damaged our walls, we immediately sent images and they accept no responsibility and insult us with $200. The rug alone was over $1500.00 We were asked to lodge a claim and this is what we received:

Accordingly, enclosed please find a check in the amount of $200.00 serving as a full and final settlement for claim #1281150 filed on 1/17/25.

Flat Rate movers is the only service I will use. They take care of my product from beginning to end. Easy to deal with from your first call to when they reach out to verify your satisfaction. 5 stars always.

They showed up on time and were great guys and very professional. Took about 2.5 hours with no problems. Now waiting on the delivery in my new state of residence. My NYC rep was Adam Robb and he helped my greatly and is an amazing person.

The sales team was thorough in the preparation and planning of the move. The app was helpful and locating my moving team before they arrive. The team was prompt, efficient, and careful with my items as well as patient and polite. The whole thing went very fast and very smoothly. When there was a mishap the company was forthcoming and quick to resolve the situation efficiently.

I had a great experience with Flatrate movers. They were very detailed oriented and took extra care of our items. Alex and Jonathan did a fantastic job, they were timely, efficient, and very professional. I would book them again!

Such an amazing job and beautiful attention to detail! Javier and Eric were so helpful and made the moving experience so stress-free. The pricing is fair and they took care of my stuff like it was their own. They were really nice which goes such a long way and they constructed my bed for me and brought all the wrapping to protect the furniture. I really can’t recommend Flat rate movers enough And I’ll definitely be using them for my next move.

I would give a zero if I could. You all should know they put thru 2 unauthorized charges on my credit card and overcharged me. After many emails they finally reimbursed for the 2 unauthorized charges but so far not for the amount they overcharged me. I’ve sent numerous emails and no response from my contact or customer service.

Excellent service from start to finish. When you call you reach an actual person who returns calls, follows up, and does what he says he is going to do. The movers themselves were careful, efficient and friendly. This was our second move in NYC with FlateRate and while I hope to stay put for a while I would definitely use the company again.

Our pickup in Brooklyn was FLAWLESS. They arrived on time and were very professional and efficient, and they packed our items very securely.

The drop-off was almost perfect, with one issue. Apparently there was an internal miscommunication, and they did not give us the 24-48 hour warning that they were arriving, so we had to scramble to be ready. But once they arrived, they were extremely professional and efficient in unloading and unpacking. Only one glass out of 40+ boxes and other furniture was damaged. If I got their names correct, they were Mustafa, Hamza and Yusuf.
WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FLATRATE.

The sales team was fantastic, clearly evaluating our needs and helping us understand our options for packing, unpacking and moving overall. The moving team we were assigned (Edo and Big Mike) were 12/10. They were kind, helpful, and not a single thing was damaged in our move. Would definitely recommend FR Moving and would use them again in the future.

My moving consultant was incredibly helpful from the estimate, to making adjustments to my move list, to answering all of my questions to help me feel comfortable everything would go smoothly. The day of the move, the three movers were efficient, communicative, and creative in getting furniture through a tight spot into my new apartment! Our moving day went off seamlessly and FlatRate played a huge part in reducing the stress that comes with moving. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their moving services again!

This company was excellent in every way. They coordinated three complex moves both local and long distance with efficiency. They wrapped and unwrapped furniture with care. They went above and beyond.

Both the sales/planning process as well as the move itself were as smooth as could be. This is my 3rd move with FlatRate and I've only had good experiences with no issues. The one time I strayed for a lower price, the company lost a large chair and broke a bunch of dishes. Lesson learned.

Second move with FlatRate and their responsiveness, competitive pricing and execution of the move were great. They were able to schedule and execute a move in under 24 hours. We left very impressed.

I always use FlatRate for my moves. They are consistently the best and this is over a 15yr period (I’ve moved quite a lot in NYC). They have competitive pricing and excellent customer service.

Very smooth process from the beginning to the end. Adam R in the sales department is very professional and great to work with from start to finish. The crews provided have always been VERy professional and efficient!

Movers were awesome- very careful with all my items. The coordinator was responsive and easy to work with. Did a video chat of the apartment contents so there were no surprises in the end.
