Fiona Smith is fantastic. She organised all of our tickets seamlessly, coordinating different flights for some legs and joint flights for others. She did an excellent job and kept in touch with us at all times throughout the process. Fiona was amazing to work with, and we highly recommend her.

We first met Liz at Wollongong flight centre, and she helped us plan our very last-minute Europe trip and dealt with my 10000000s of questions. We then decided to go to Europe again, and we found out Liz was no longer there. We tried 2 different travel agencies, and nothing compared to Liz. I then managed to track her down and found out she moved to Melbourne. i Contacted her via email, and then we started planning our Trip Via Zoom. She really is the best!

I booked a flight from South Africa to Thailand for ZAR 17,000 and paid an additional flexible fare fee of ZAR 2,232, bringing the total cost to ZAR 20,122. With this ticket, I was able to select a seat on the outbound flight to Thailand.

However, on my return journey from Dubai to South Africa, I was unable to select a seat due to an online technical issue. I was assigned seat 40B, a middle seat, and both adjacent seats were occupied. The passenger next to me was physically large, which made the seating very uncomfortable.

I requested assistance from the cabin crew to move to another available seat due to my discomfort, but I was informed that I would need to pay an additional USD 95 to change seats, even though the alternative seats were also middle seats in the same economy class.

I believe this treatment was unfair, especially considering that I paid for a flexible ticket option. I therefore request a refund of the USD 95 seat change fee.

I have everything I need and the agent was amazing

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience booking through Flight Centre. I booked an international trip online and genuinely believed I had selected direct flights. It wasn’t until later—after paying—that I discovered the itinerary had multiple unnecessary transits and back-and-forth flights that made no sense for the destinations I had chosen.

When I reached out to Flight Centre for help, hoping customer service could provide solutions or even basic guidance, the experience was incredibly unhelpful. Despite explaining that the routing was confusing and not clearly disclosed during the booking process, I was repeatedly told it was my responsibility for not noticing the multiple stopovers.

I spoke to multiple staff members, including someone from Customer Relations, and not one person made any genuine attempt to assist beyond restating the policies. The attitude was essentially “too bad, you booked it online,” even though the platform clearly failed to communicate the number of connections and inefficiencies in the itinerary.

I was quoted just over $3,000 per person to modify one flight leg, and cancellation fees were also inconsistent—quoted differently online, over the phone, and in-store. When I asked for clarity or escalation, I was told there was nowhere further to escalate despite the issue clearly being more complex than a simple voluntary change.

Flight Centre advertises itself as providing expertise, clarity, and customer support, yet in my experience, none of those values were demonstrated. Instead of helping resolve a confusing booking platform issue, the burden was placed entirely on me, and I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported.

I strongly advise triple-checking all routing details if you book with them online, as the system does not make it clear what you’re actually selecting—and you may be left with an itinerary that is costly or impossible to change, even when it doesn’t align with your intended travel plan.

Fiona was extremely helpful and proactive - Made the booking of a complex trip extremely smooth and transparent. Promptly called me any time a precision was required or to ensure full alignment. Excellent service and everything was finalised extremely quickly thanks to her support. Thanks again Fiona!

Super friendly and seamless experience! This was my first time booking flights through a travel agency and it was great.
Planned multiple bookings across two different phone calls with a friend of mine and Sophie was such a tremendous help to us both, recalling details from both of us which made everything so much easier! She was so helpful in organising my trip and was extremely prompt in sending through relevant information. Additional information about travelling to the UK was so helpful too, I didn't realise an ETA was required when travelling there so that was a major help 🙏

Extremely poor level of service. My experience has been marked by a complete lack of support, failure to follow up as promised, and unresolved issues.

Despite multiple attempts to contact the team, I have received little to no communication or assistance in resolving my concerns. It is unacceptable that customers are left without clarity or accountability, particularly after making significant payments in good faith.

The lack of professionalism and follow-through has caused considerable frustration and inconvenience. I expected a higher standard of customer care and transparency from a company of Flight Centre’s reputation.
