We have worked with Fiona ( Smith ) for many years now. For both our corporate and personal travel and would not consider using anyone else.
The attention to detail, prompt response to questions and the overall confidence we have in her guidance and recommendations will keep us returning.

Keller Anderson is our Flight Centre goto guy. He has been extremely helpful in finding Karen & myself the best price return flights to the UK. He has explained the flight conditions extremely coherently so we fully understand the TOC's. He also organised our Hong Kong Rugby 7's trip which, went really smoothly. Thanks again Keller

Fiona Smith Outstanding Customer Service

We would like to thank Fiona Smith for the outstanding customer service experience we have had over the last 10 days with The Flight Centre business. We contacted Fiona in the last week as my wife, and I were considering going on a cruise that we had seen advertised. We have known Fiona for a few years and have book other holidays with her but nothing to the extent of this booking. We were totally amazed at her level of skill and knowledge of all aspects of the travel industry. Fiona is a true professional in the industry. Fiona makes you feel like you are with the best in the industry. We did not even consider asking for any other agent to provide us with a quote for our holiday as we knew we were dealing with the best in the industry. I had made up our mind that when it was time to book our dream holiday that Fiona was going to be the chosen one to do all the bookings for us.

When it comes time to book a holiday it can be challenging with all the decisions that have to be made like which cruise, which airline, which hotel, the insurance, and the list goes on. The decisions are not easy decisions to make, but when you have someone like Fiona looking after you, it makes it easier as she is able to narrow down the choices and explain what needs to be considered when making the choices. We discussed all the options available to us, and then we knew that the choices we made were correct.

When you are dealing with someone of this level of expertise that can explain things to you in simple terms, and you trust them, then you feel a level of confidence to proceed with selection of options to create a dream holiday. It has been an unbelievable experience, and it all feels right. My wife and I can’t thank Fiona enough for her patience, her support, her undivided attention to make sure that we were okay, and of course her professionalism. Our holiday is all booked, and we know that we have completed all that needs to be done to ensure that our holiday is completely sorted for a great time ahead.

Fiona always kept up with communication. She informed us what time she was going to contact us each day. I would receive emails to confirm various components of the holiday. Emails to confirm that she was about to call us in 20 minutes.

We cannot recommend Fiona highly enough. She would rank as being the most professional Travel Agent I have worked with in my life. We have travelled a lot in our lives, and no one comes even close to the standard of Fiona; she is one in a million. She is reliable, sincere, courteous, and very professional in her conduct. If you are considering booking a holiday and you want it done professionally you only have one choice, the only person you need to get a quote from is Fiona as she will do the job well and will ensure that you are satisfied with the final result. We are very happy customers and will be sharing our brilliant experience with others who need guidance in their Travel adventures.

Can you trust Flight Centre with your trip? Well I have and if I had one complaint it would be there is nothing, nothing at all to complain about!

Sorry, this is going to be long winded, but far too important to make it short and superficial. Plus I am a writing freak so can’t keep anything short! But hopefully this will help you when thinking of spending money on travel, and if nothing else, encourage you to contact the person I am reviewing, truthfully and without any payment, kickbacks or favours etc.

I am about to take what I call my “World Farewell Tour 2025” I am eighty years of age and after a long life of wishful thinking, I am in the position of travelling the world before I leave this planet.

I researched many travel agents and airlines to put my trust in, as this would be my one and only trip like this. After many to and from emails along with some interviews, I narrowed it down to Flight Centre HO in Brisbane. I was engaged in conversations both on the phone and via emails with Gemma Hinchey, Senior Travel Consultant.

I finally got to meet Gemma at Flight Centre HO in Brisbane, Gemma gave me two hours of her time to go over and clarify all her work in putting together my journey right around the world, that would take me three months from take off to landing back home. From the USA to Africa, Egypt, India, Colombo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Hanoi, Singapore and back to Brisbane.

After our meeting I was fully confident that I was in the care of a professional travel agent that was not Scripted in her presentation, but an experienced person that carefully had listened to everything I wanted. She then put together a package for me to accept, edit, add to or delete, all to make it my dream come true and not a copy of someone else’s.

Altogether we have worked on this for over a month, to most people I would be classified as a pain in the rear, to please go find another travel agent. But not Gemma, she persisted without any pressure or to make me feel uncomfortable.

We are now all set for take off and I have renamed Gemma’s title from Travel Agent to Travel Angel. I dare you to prove me wrong!

This was my first time booking flights through a travel agent as I had previously always done it myself. Since this was a multi-stop international trip I thought it would be best that I investigate using a round the world travel specialist. Sophie W couldn't have been more helpful and professional (and patient)! She really listened to my preferences and even prepared two options for me to make sure I was 100% happy with the itinerary and the price. I never write reviews, but this experience had to be shared. Thank you Sophie!

I had help from a really lovely travel agent called Bryony! I'm organising for a Camp America exchange and the amount of flights to sort was a bit crazy... she helped so so much! She neatened everything right up and was very understanding of the MANY changes I had to make along the way. Thank you!!

Ben in Qld has been looking after us for years. He is an absolute delight and professional to deal with. He always provides excellent options and value.

We have had an extremely helpful man (Matt) managing our bookings for to flights to Europe. He has been very patient and very knowledgeable. Has gone above and beyond to make sure we have a great experience.
Have not yet booked our rail and accommodation but will continue with him for his great service.

Buyer beware! Only use them to search for flight availability, DO NOT BOOK WITH FLIGHT CENTRE! I needed to cancel a flight, the airline charges me $150 cancellation fee, Flight centre charges another $300 cancellation fee on top!! Even though they claim they supposedly made it all clear to you before you book, unless one intends on cancelling before booking, would anyone actually go through to read all the small writing? I paid for a standard fair so just assumed a standard cancellation fee from the airline would apply, but an extra $300 cancellation fee on top of what the airline charged for a $500 flight? for exactly what? Your administration cost for an online website? Regardless of what you claim, it’s outrageous so people should just be more aware not to use this website unless there is a good reason not to book directly with the airlines, they are all online anyway and it’s not like flight centre actually provides a better personal service, and if you ever have to make changes, booking through these third party websites makes life soooo much harder and more costly, so you have to ask yourself why? And I can’t believe you actually bothered to respond to my review with the standard old excuse of “we told you in the small writing”…is this what my extra $300 admin fee goes to? to have a department of people responding to customer reviews with these useless responses? Never again for me!

Usually book my own flights as a seasonal traveler, not sure how I got onto the Flight Centre Luxury Travel Centre , but they have won me over , Lauren was my consultant and was fantastic to deal with , prompt responses and ideas , but what grab my attention and surprise was that she was consistently emailing to my replies late into the night , as a business owner for twenty five years in transport and service , let me tell you Flight Centre she loves her work and it really comes thru , what a joy to deal with someone that cares and offers great customer service
