Striking illustrations. Good font size. A pleasure to hold and read. Sits well next to 'Rendezvous with Rama'. Now, for 'Childhood's End' and 'The City and the Stars' to complete his more obvious/best works in a Folio format.
Waited and finally a wonderful book for our families library. Thanks!
Excellent quality
Beautiful book
This book is gorgeous! I really like what Folio does with their Sci-fi books and this one is no exception. A great addition to my collection.
I read this book a few years ago. Nice to have a Folio edition.
FANTASTIC cover design, highly evocative not just of the story, but the genre as a whole. This is a sci-fi collector’s dream edition.
Really beautiful edition however price increases are starting to make purchasing other books unjustifiable
VERY GOOD BOOK
Absolutely beautiful. I echo everyone who has said the silver cover would have been cooler in black or with the special effects of the last 20 minutes of the film as the silver tarnishes but apart from that worth the money
Great book 10/10!
A beautiful edition!
Loved the illustrations I only wish that there were more of them.
Beautifully designed and the illustrations look great. Shipping the US takes a while but is worth it.
This is a beautiful rendition of a classic work of science fiction. Gorgeous font with stunning illustrations, this has a proud place in my collection. I only have one niggle and that is the silver sleeve the book is kept in. The silver wears off very easy so looks very tatty very quickly. It would have been far better with a jet black sleeve as this would also have reflected the monoliths in the story. This is only a minor gripe as the book itself is stunning.
Wonderful quality. Very pleased.
It was a gift and delighted recipient.
Strange how much in this book that’s recently found to be true. The mega structure on mars moon Phobos being The latest to be seen by passing probes.
Great . A gift for my son.
