It is a great quality edition, but it's lagging behind the ones with similar price tag. Ie. 1984 edition is of a higher quality and in the same price range. This is mostly due to binding, which is a bit restrictive in a sense that it's very tight and if you lay open book on the table, binding will force it to close. Other than that, it's perfect, the usual Folio standard of high quality paper and illustrations.

Arrived with a very small, barely noticeable dent to one corner of slipcase. I do like the art work. 9/10
Classic book got the folio treatment. It differs from the rest of the pack with its flat binding but it looks good and the artwork is very nice.
I never managed to see the whole movie. But I loved the book.
First off, I absolutely adore Folio books and have quite a few in my library, but I feel that this edition of ‘2001: a space odyssey’ missed the mark due to one issue: the binding. With every other Folio book I own, I am able to lay the book flat on a table and it stays open. With this book, the binding is so tight that book was not able to be read as conveniently as other Folio books. Otherwise the quality, artwork and feel of this book was a 10/10. I just wish that the binding was similar to other Folio books.
Fantastic.
Beautifully present book.
