I placed an order on Foodpanda today

I placed an order on Foodpanda today, and after a maximum of 1.5 hours, it was cancelled from their side. Now they’re claiming that the rider tried to contact me several times but I didn’t respond. However, I did not receive a single call or message from the rider. The payment for the order was already made, and now they are neither delivering the order nor refunding the payment. This is extremely irresponsible behavior. On chat support, they keep insisting that they tried to contact me, but no matter what I say, they’re not listening and are just repeating the same thing, that no refund will be issued.

Tasteless Zinger Biryani from Karachi Red Rock (Johar Town) – Refund Denied!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but my recent experience with Karachi Red Rock (Johar Town) was so disappointing that I feel others should be warned.

I ordered Zinger Biryani, expecting something flavorful and satisfying. What I received was the complete opposite—bland, tasteless, and extremely underwhelming. The rice had absolutely no flavor—no aroma, no spices, nothing that even resembled biryani. It felt like someone had mixed plain, colored rice without any real ingredients or seasoning. It was honestly one of the most uninspired meals I’ve ever had.

The “Zinger” chicken was equally terrible. It wasn’t crispy, it wasn’t spicy, and it wasn’t fresh. It was soggy, rubbery, and completely flavorless. I don’t know how something called “Zinger” could be so dull—it felt like reheated leftovers at best. It had a strange texture, and there was nothing appetizing about it. I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but every bite made things worse.

To make matters worse, the food arrived lukewarm and had a slightly off smell, which immediately made me question the hygiene and freshness. The packaging was also a mess—the container was partially open and rice had spilled into the delivery bag. It felt like zero care had gone into preparation or presentation.

After this disaster of a meal, I reached out to chat support to request a refund, explaining everything clearly and honestly. But to my surprise and frustration, they outright rejected my refund request without any proper explanation or concern. No apology, no attempt to make things right. Just a cold, standard rejection that made the entire experience feel even worse.

Honestly, this was a complete waste of money and a serious letdown. I’ve had better biryani from small roadside stalls. I expected better from a place like Karachi Red Rock, but clearly, quality and customer satisfaction aren’t on their priority list.

Final Verdict: I will never order from Karachi Red Rock Johar Town again. The food was awful, the service was worse, and the way they handled (or rather, ignored) my complaint was unacceptable. Avoid this place if you care about your taste buds or your money.

PATHETIC SERVICE

PATHETIC SERVICE! FOODPANDA SAID THE ORDER WILL BE DELIVERED IN 55 mins! ITS BEEN 3 hours and the ORDER IS STILL. NOT DELIVERED!! And their support agent said they can’t do anything about it. THEY LIED AND MISINFORMED ME ABOUT MY ORDER NOT BEING READY. BUT WHEN I CALLED BROADWAY MY ORDER WAS ALREADY READY, PREPARED and dispatched for delivery! THE PLACE IS LITERALLY 5 mins away from my place! I AM NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS SHITTY PLACE AGAIN!

Worst experience ever /scammed

Worst experience ever
I ordered fron red apple their was no problem with the food.
The rider was a bloody harrasser scammed me harrassed and the shitty help centre while i escalated the issue kept on pasting tickets first their agents then their team lead. This is bullshit dont trust this their are way better food deliveries.
People should avoid these scammers and shitty staffs. Beware of sharing locations. The riders are very untrust worthy and the support team is unable to provide support.

No delivery in Saima Villas

I live in Saima Villas, Gulshan E Elahi ، Scheme 33 and "the company" doesn't deliver in my area, the riders can go to Ahsanabad, but can't deliver food on main supper highway. It sucks man... It sucks. Shut the nonsense company and do something you people can do the best.

What a pathetic deliver service

What a pathetic deliver service, took more than an hour to deliver an order when the person whom the order was for left. Dont order with them, their service is appalling and theh charge delivery , counter and VAT charges just for the sake of pathetic delivery.

Choor Food Panda Pakistan

Foodpanda Pakistan is literally stealing money when ever they can. When it happened for the first time I thought it was a mistake but it happened twice... they took my only payment then order gets cancelled and I never got refunded no matter how hard I tried. I deleted their bloody app and I would rather go out myself than support such thieves.

WORST EVER EXPERIENCE WITH FOODPANDA

I had worst experience with foodpand Help centre . They sometimes add voucher to section and despite I fulfill all terms and conditions of the voucher , even then voucher does not apply. Contacting help center make no use and they brief all but just lie .
Even when getting wrong orders, they do not return or refund. Competition Comission of Pakistan must take strict action on Foodpand.pk and impose heavy penalty on them .

Extremely disappointed with…

Extremely disappointed with @foodpanda_pakistan I placed a prepaid order and waited for 2 hours, but it kept showing "preparing". I finally cancelled it, and when I asked for a refund, the agent told me it's non-refundable. How is this fair when the delay wasn't my fault? Keeping someone's money without delivering anything is nothing short of fraud. Didn't expect this from such a well-known company. Horrible customer support with…

Horrible customer support with repetitive generic answers. Frequent late deliveries with late wait times exceeding over an hour. Wrong orders are delivered more often than correct orders. No accountability.

Very Disappointed with Foodpanda's Service

I had a terrible experience with Foodpanda. I selected my office location for delivery, but somehow the app picked up my home address instead. Even after trying to change the delivery location immediately, the order still got delivered to the wrong address.

To make matters worse, customer support told me that I wouldn’t receive any refund, despite it clearly being an issue on their end.

I strongly advise against using Foodpanda, especially if you're considering paying in advance — there's a high chance you'll end up frustrated and without your money.

The delivery time is already for 60-80 mins, and my order still not arrived even after 110 mins. There is no proper complaint mechanism through the app, there's no response for complaint on the email. And the audacity is that they don't even give you the option to cancel the order. This is the worst service one can ever use.

I’m currently visiting Pakistan and decided to use your platform to order food during my stay — and I deeply regret it. Every single time I’ve placed an order, I’ve received spoiled and unsafe food. This isn’t just bad service — it’s a health risk.

It’s absolutely shameful how your customer service team operates. They are unhelpful, untrained, and clearly not empowered to resolve any issues. It feels like you're running a scam — taking advantage of people in a country where money is hard-earned, and trust is already fragile.

Someone will eventually fall seriously ill — or worse — because of this negligence. And when that happens, I hope the public stands up and your services are held accountable.
This isn’t just poor service. It’s dangerous, dishonest, and disrespectful to your customers. I demand a formal investigation into my order and proper compensation.

Waited over 2 hours for my order

Waited over 2 hours for my order, only for the rider to falsely mark it as delivered without ever showing up. Contacted customer support, but the agent was completely unhelpful – not listening, not understanding the issue, and showing zero empathy. All I got was a refund to my wallet, but that doesn’t compensate for the time wasted, the frustration, or going hungry. Extremely disappointing and far from the excellent service they claim to offer. Will seriously reconsider using Foodpanda again.
