Nice to deal with a down to earth letting agent!

After searching for so long for a nice 1 bedroom flat in the city center me and my partner were almost losing hope, then we came across fresh move. He showed us a flat that could not have been more perfect and to make it that much better he explained that fresh move is a company who are there to look after the Tennant just as much as they look after the landlord. We put the holding fee down on the same day and the rest of the process couldn't have been easier! It was so refreshing to have a down to earth letting agent that really care about what you want/ need and don't just want your cash! Any slight issues we had during the rental were fixed very quickly in a very proffesional manner. I would recommend to anyone and will be using them for any future house moves. Well done guys for having an amazing company and helping people make what is usually a very stressful time easy! 5 stars!!

Amazing service from start to finish, couldn't be happier.

From the moment Fresh Move were recommended to me and the family it seemed like the perfect solution to renting our beautiful home.

Both James, Fiona and the team were incredibly informative, friendly and understood exactly the importance of finding the right people.

Couldn't recommend them highly enough and will definitely use again.

Great service

Fresh Move 10/10

Fresh move has found us the perfect tenant. We have always had regular payments. Would use fresh move again and we recommend them to everyone.

Average service.

Average service by agent. Found fresh move used to have excellent service but no longer.
Did find agent trying to up sell extras that i didnt want.I wanted tenant find only. No insurance,no video inventory.

Thank you for taking the time to complete an independent trust pilot survey on the services fresh move provided last year for a tenant find only service.

We at fresh move are very passionate about helping our landlords protect their property / business assets whilst also helping to maximise rental incomes.

You might be tempted to think that all the hard work is done once a letting agent has found responsible tenants, arranged the move in and drafted a tenancy agreement. However, it has been fresh moves experience that, sometimes, it has only just begun. Issues such as maintenance problems, rent arrears and challenging tenants arise regularly and resolving them can consume a significant amount of your personal time and emotion. This is in addition to the horror stories we hear of landlords doing everything themselves and not protecting their property correctly with inventories that don't stand up in court in the event a tenant damages their property are a continual issue in the marketplace.

We discussed the video inventory and check in report service that was included in the full management service as well as the rent guarantee insurance because most of our landlords have now moved to the full service and it is always our duty to make sure our clients understand the value of each service we provide.

The full management service is tax deductible and as a monthly cost over a year, once you have removed the tax you would pay without acquiring the service, the actual cost is not much more that acquiring a tenant find only service and paying for an inventory separately. Therefore, we always feel the full management service is a low cost / high value service. Our full service has been designed to ensure your property investment runs smoothly whilst minimising tenant void periods, in addition to having the luxury of being an absentee landlord; reaping the profits without the problems.

However, we do respect that some Landlords like to do it themselves so if you felt we were pushing the advantages of full management too much we do apologise. If we don't explain the services we provide it is sometimes challenging to add the right value.

Excellent service

I have found that Fresh Move excellent in every way, with regular payments of rent and frequent inspections of the premises. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

A 5 star agency

I have been a landlady for over 30 years and have worked with several agencies. Some have been dire and some OK but FreshMove is in a league of its own. It responds immediately to all queries, selects potential tenants with skill and very importantly asks them the right questions up front so time wasters are ruled out. Its fees are very reasonable and the prospective tenants I have spoken to, comment on the excellent video of the property and also the speedy and knowledgable communications they have experienced with FreshMove. I would recommend them whole heartedly to both landlords and tenants.

The Worst

Very poor maintenance, on several occasions gave contractors keys to my flat to enter without prior notice, Over promise and under deliver. There were significant issues with the property I was let - Damp and a leaking roof, no heating and hot water for several months over winter. Windows rotten right through. Another tenant fell through their bathroom floor in the same building as the property has such significant damp issues, yet they never resolved any issues. I cannot stress how poor my experience of this letting agents is. They claim heating and hot water was covered by a British Gas insurance policy, which doesn't even cover the heating in this property as it was night storage heaters. I would strongly recommend avoiding.

**Also suspicious of all the 5* Reviews all dated 20th January!**

We know it is frustrating that you lost your deposit but the DPS ruled that the landlord gave you free rent and offered you to leave but you chose to remain in the flat. The DPS therefore awarded your deposit back to the landlord in lieu of rent arrears as they felt that the landlord had given you one months compensation plus given you the choice to vacate as the work they needed to do they could only do on a vacant flat. We are sorry that even after you have received their decision plus our response on numerous review sites that you continue to hold us responsible as an agent.

The team here work very hard to ensure that maintenance issues are allocated to a contractor on the same day and then quotes are given to landlords promptly. Landlords will generally do everything they can to approve works but sometimes the jobs are too great and they can only do it in a vacant property.

To address your point about our reviews. We launched the trust pilot surveys to all fresh move landlords and fortunately some have responded immediately. Therefore, this presents that yes many replies would arrive and did arrive on the same day the launch took place.

Trust pilot is an open and honest feedback forum that clearly represents the transparency and ethical approach. We see no value to our clients in placing a few testimonials pasted into a website. This could always be viewed as fake or only taking the best testimonials so that the ones like yours cannot be viewed by the public.

The value of Trust Pilot is that it represents the truth and gives fresh move the opportunity to address negative feedback in a constructive and open way.
