Do not buy from this company, they are fraudulent!!

Similar to many other experiences I have read about here, I placed an order with a promised delivery time. Delivery was then postponed 5 times due to late stock, company being sold etc. The company had been communicative over email and phone until last week where they have stopped responding to emails or calls.

I do not expect to receive the items I have ordered, or my money back. I have filed a fraud complaint with Klarna and the UK Trading Standards. If you have experienced the same, please take action and complain so they cannot get away with continuing to do this.

I am so disappointed! First the delivery of my toddler's floor bed costing over £400 (!!) was delayed.. fair enough, delays can happen. However now I am not getting any responses to my emails anymore to at least get an update on delivery timescale. I'm unable to get through on their phoneline no matter what time of day. I have no idea if the bed is in production or if I am just being scammed. Really terrible customer Service. I recommend for everyone to stay away from this terrible company.

I ordered a bed in January which was due to be delivered end of February. I have rung and emailed multiple times and previously always told it will be shipped on Friday. Now my emails are being ignored and when I call I get promised a call back which I am not receiving.

Ordered a bed in JULY 2022. no contact no updates, NO BED, no refund. SCAM company. Do not buy from them.

Ordered a floor bed in January 2023 with a delivery date of mid Feb. Item never arrived and I had zero correspondence from the company. As a result I ordered the item elsewhere and requested a refund. I am still waiting despite being told I'd be refunded at the start of March. This is obviously a SCAM company that have no intentions of delivering your orders, they just want to keep your money and ignore all attempts at contact!! The worst company I have ever had to deal with!! Completely unprofessional and caused an untold amount of stress to me and my family. I will be raising this further as I am entitled to my money back!!!

We had an issue of delay with our order (due to previous owners). This has been addressed really promptly by the customer service team and our desk has arrived. Next challenge will be to construct it! But very happy with the promptness of the help from Customer Services and successful delivery of my order.

Our bed arrived on time. A bit of fun trying to put it together, but it looks great and the quality is very good as well. We got delivered slightly bigger size to what we ordered, but quickly offered a replacement. We opted to keep the bigger one.

Ok so my review has now been amended for the final time as the floor bed did finally arrive this morning !!!

Our order was placed on 17th February initial delivery date was 15-25th March and it finally arrived 8th April.

Although customer service did feel like they were giving me the run around and I panicked I’d been scammed out of £330, they did do what they said they would.
The bed we initially ordered had an apparent supply issue so they sent me a slightly different upgraded version. Not sure if this was actually a return from someone else as it had someone else’s name on the parcel under my delivery details and frustratingly the bed did have a couple of marks on it and was missing 3 bolts and cams but it was easy to sort that, I couldn’t be bothered to complain was past caring by that point :D

Could maybe have done with some instructions as it took a while to put together!

So yes in a nutshell, took forever to arrive but what did turn up was accurate to the website photos.

Please do not buy from this company! I bought a lovely floor bed for my daughter on 21st December. Delivery time was 2-4 weeks,and upon purchase,was told I would get a tracking number. I didn't get a tracking number. 5 weeks after purchase,the bed still hadn't come. I emailed them and was told the bed had been shipped and I would get it in 3 days. 3 days later...no bed. I emailed again,and was told the bed had not been shipped,but they would give me a 10% refund and the bed would arrive in 14 days. I really wanted the bed for my daughter,so I agreed,hoping the bed would arrive. It didn't! I asked for a refund,I had had enough of waiting and was furious! No reply...radio silence. More emails sent....no reply for several days. Finally speak to someone at customer service and get told I will get a refund within 10 days. 11 days later....no refund! More calls to customer service....no answer! Emails sent....get told a refund will be in my account in 6 days. You know where this is going....no refund. I have made a report with Action Fraud. More emails sent...as it stands,I have not had any reply regarding the status of my refund for 3 days. The bed cost me £350 and I am worried I may never get my money back. PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. I am not the 1st person this has happened to,and I don't want anyone else falling victim to them!
Fromthemakers responded to my review as expected with an empty apology. I have emailed them twice to ask when I can expect my refund...and suprise suprise..they are ignoring my emails! I am so angry! They cannot be allowed to get away with it so I am beginning legal proceedings.

Desk is exactly what I was 👀 4.

I ordered shelves from this company in January with an expected delivery date of early/mid Feb. Note they require payment via bank transfer.

I emailed them in February as I had received no information regarding shipping only to be told they hadn’t been shipped yet and they would arrive in 10 days.

2 weeks went by and it’s now March, no emails/deliveries. I message them 3 more times before someone replies to offer me a refund. I say yes I want the refund and now they say ‘this shouldn’t be longer than 30 days’ as if that is supposed to be a reassuring promise.

Seems like a scam to me, don’t bother!

Ordered a children's house bed on 19th January 2023 and received an email to advise that the bed would be delivered between 25th and 31st January 2023.
On 1st February 2023 I emailed the company to advise that I hadn't received an update on the delivery of the bed. I didn't receive any response until 25th February 2023 during which time I had contacted my bank to report this company as a scan and fraudulent company.

Although this company is registered on companies house does not mean that they are a genuine company. If you review this company on companies house you will see that their accounts are overdue.

I've recently received an email from them to advise that the bed is being made in Europe and they are waiting to receive the bed. This proves that the company do not make their products so the bed order was never going to be fulfilled by the date given originally.

It is not like me to review a company or leave a review but I really feel that future consumers using this company should be aware. Their social media and website give a really authentic and genuine look but really this company is making promises to consumers that it cannot and will not follow through. Please do not make a purchase with this company.

We ordered a house floor bed back in late January and pleased to say it arrived safe and sound this week. We ordered a king size as I wanted to transition him from our bed as he has never liked his cot. It was definitely worth the wait. To be fair on the company my emails were always replied too within 24 hours and contact was good. This was the only company I could get a king size bed. My son slept in it last night and only woke 2 times which is amazing for him. He loves it and so do we. Took around 2 hours to put up.

Desk was initially delivered to wrong address but was quickly sorted out. Desk looks good.

THE COMPANY IS A SCAM!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I HAVE LOST £372.60.

I placed the order in November 2022, paid £372.60.
On the 5th of December 2022 I requested the company to cancel my order. They agreed. I have not seen my money since then. Instead of a bed for a little one on the autistic spectrum we have got a debt.

Order a scandi oak desk, which was almost 15% cheaper on fromthemakers.co.uk than others.
Comunication was good by email and not so good on the phone.
had to wait a longer than expected for delivery. On the delivery day, I got the txt with delivery slot wich was good.
Goods arrived, well packaaged.
Now put the desk together, it was easy to do and desk is excellent.
It is very heavy thought and lifting in 1 was a bit of a problem. Very pleased with purchase...

We bought 2 house będą online from the makers.
The proces was easy and both beds arrived on time with info prior to delivery. They was easy to construct and are solid and look beautiful!
We’d throughly recomended both, the company and their hous beds.

I order Scandinavian wooden desk, there was nad issue whit the item it was collected and replaced with a new one wich was free of damages.
good customer service.
I would buy from them again.
