Fullers Can't Cook.

Avoid the "baked fish" chips, mushy peas and tartre sauce at the Fullers Pub, Terminal 2, Heathrow. £18.95 for garbage out of a box that was just miserable and a complete rip off.
How can Fullers justify selling rubbish like this for a pound short of 20 quid? They ought to be ashamed and heaven knows what international guests must think.
I was ripped off.

Used to go to the Princess Royal

Used to go to the Princess Royal , Runfold , Farnham , Last time Saturday 28 March ..
My personal hate is when arriving at about 12.00 (lunchtime) is finding most/all unoccupied tables are "reserved" , and most who book them do not arrive until after 2.30 pm (after lunchtime) ..
Sometimes we find one that is free , but later on be told it has been "reserved" - (no sign) .
Last straw was Saturday , We were sitting at a table without a "reserved sign" when we were told we would have to be gone by 1.30 pm ..
So we sat outside until the weather got chilly , then we went back inside expecting to have to stand , When another pub employee (manageress ?) who invited us to sit in one of the side dining areas (choice of 4 free tables & the other dining area some more) .
We could not understand why the person who had booked could not have been given one of them instead ..
Seems like the pub has a policy of accepting bookings the same morning , taking priority over Customers already present ..
Tried contacting Fullers via their complaints form found on their website , but it would not me "submit" it ..

Overcharging at tills versus lower prices on printed menus

Rose & Crown, Church Place, Ealing, W5 4HN

I won't repeat the story over their overcharging in full here, as it can be seen via a Trust Pilot search for the Rose & Crown, Ealing: Last night, overcharging of food on my debit card ("Padron peppers" at £6.50 instead of £5.50) was questioned with bar staff who refused a refund, then taken up with bolshy lady manager, who also refused. As always I was polite. Overcharging is unlawful. It was the attitude that was so offensive.

Receipts and online banking show it's happened 3 times in weeks. It's not the £3 that matters necessarily, but the sheer bolshy offensive attitude of manager and staff that it's okay to do something illegal and when confronted to refuse to refund.

Phoned Trading Standards this morning who took the case and put it on their national database: ref 5090079. Took it up directly with Fullers head office, who gave it ref 11966.

Copy of receipts and menu were sent to Fuller's head office so they can't whine this was an unjustified review, along with receipt for New Inn on other side of the road where I'll have that weekly rump steak and pint while I read my book. I figure Fuller's are losing c. £2,000 a year from me because of this unlawful overcharging. Surprised and shocked at how badly a manager can run a pub when confronted about this behaviour.

A quick apology and prompt refund from the manager would have put everything right immediately, but she's clearly too bolshy for that.

Supports Misogyny

Absolutely shocking service. I went to the Holly bush with my friend and my friend went to the bar, whilst I went to ask if they had food. Upon asking I received an aggressive " we wouldn't do anything for you" from the manager. Shocked, I asked why and he said we were too drunk. Even if we had been, this is not a way to treat customers. We were not too drunk and even asked 2 pubs following attending there if we had been too drunk to serve and they said no and that they were happy to serve us. We left and were followed out by someone who was shocked by the scene. I went back in to get his name and the lovely lady behind the bar told me. The manager, Toby then asked me what I wanted and I replied " Just confirming you are Toby". He then started shouting at me as I walked out, repeatedly shouting aggressively "have a lovely evening". The pub was full of men and my friend and I walked in and were only asking if they served food. As mentioned, later attended two more pubs, who to reiterate were happy to serve us. I have since complained to Fullers who do condone this behaviour. The way he spoke to us and upon mostly men being there, leads me to come to the conclusion that Toby does not welcome women and Fullers support him in this choice. To not even explain his reasons in the first place seemed odd. Can't Toby get a date? Does he hate women? Why does Fullers support this? I won't be going to anymore Fullers pubs and this has been rather disappointing for such a nice area.

I have just returned from The Pilgrim’s Inn and I won’t be going again!

I have just returned from The Pilgrim’s Inn, Marchwood, where my son and I had lunch. The service was appalling, only overshadowed by the size of the portions. We had a sharing ploughman’s which really was only big enough for one. The menu said it contained ciabatta, but we didn’t realise it was one between the two of us! I complained to the manageress, but she said there was nothing she could do about it.I think £28.95 for such a paltry meal was ludicrous. Had someone come to check on the meal, we would have pointed that out to them and sent it back. However, no one came near us for the duration of the meal, and indeed, we had to go and find someone to pay. A very disappointing experience.

8 off us Visited barrowboy on London Bridge. Signed up to fullers newsletter & got a QR code for a free drink. Between the 8 of us we spent £318.60.
After the free drink was removed the bill was then £316.80. Don’t know what drinks they do for £2…..
Waiter/barman said that was all that it was worth 🤷‍♂️

Overpriced

Had a fishcake with salad which cost £18.50 which on receiving was never worth that amount. My friends had other dishes, which were the same price give or take 50p. Which were reasonable enough.
The fact that it was one fishcake, a couple of lettuce leaf's, 2 radish cut in half, 2 slices of courgette and some 5 little beans hardly made that a salad, more like a starter. I think this particular item on the menu should have the price reviewed or more substance to it.

The first time, but definately not the last time.

On Satuday April 5th I was in the Mill near Haslemere with my partner and her daughter, the pub is gorgeous both inside and out and the gardens/grounds were so pretty and inviting. Upon our arrivel, we were attended to very quickly and shown our table, menu's given and our drinks order taken. We were given plenty of time to peruse the menu and making a choice was quite difficult, not for any bad reason, but because of the choice, the sight and smell of the meals that were being paraded before our eyes. Our server was Imogen, who could not have been more attentive or on the ball. The starters were superb and we all had haddock for the main course, superbly cooked and crispy at every bite. We sadly we so stuffed, the sweet menu was not required, but temptation was being very difficult to resist, though we stuck to our guns and didn't make pigs of ourselves, maybe next time!
All in all, we had a superb meal, the drinks were very refreshing, Imogen was very pleasant and patient with us during our protracted decision on what to actually chose and we all declared that there was not one reason for us to offer any comments or complaints.
A fantastic and picture perfect English pub with something to suit everyone.

Everything went wrong

Everything went wrong. Food was way below any food standers. For almost $18.00 it was definitely not worth the money. Bbq looked mushy, potatoes and gravy were terrible. Chicken was dry. Even the chocolate chip cookie tasted old.. service is all that was great. Very disappointed. My name is Steve Mallard. 910-783-5067

WHITE HART STOCKBRIDGE

White Hart Stockbridge Hants
Meal last Wed evening 10 July was the worst ever. The duck and steaks options unavailable. I had fish and chips , a bad decision. The batter was more mushy than the peas. Needless to say I left it all. My wife’s fishcakes were 90% potato. There were only 6 in the pub yet the meal took half an hour to arrive.
When I went to pay at the bar my comment that it was the worst meal ever was met with a cheerful laugh by the barman who thought I was joking. I am too old to make a scene so paid the £50 and left. I called C.Service on the Thursday to complain and was put through to Lucy Ward who was unable to take calls at that time. I left a
message but inevitably she has never called back.
No wonder 80 pubs a week are closing.

Sausage Sharing board - Just a selection greasy sausages, white sliced bread and a small container of relish that didn't in any way compliment.

Unreliable and incompetent.

I ordered a selection of beers from Fullers online brewery shop on 22nd March. I received notification from the courier - DHL - to contact Fullers regarding my 'refused' delivery. I phoned Fullers to be told this was likely to be because some bottles were broken - Fullers would chase and liaise with me. I heard nothing for several days, so phoned again (I had pre-agreed to accept the order with anything up to 4 broken bottles, otherwise Fullers would re-issue the order). I was told they would chase the courier again and let me know. A couple of days later I phoned again, having heard nothing from them to be informed that 10 bottles had been broken - "would I accept them?" Fullers hadn't bothered to inform me of this, or carry out the previously agreed arrangement. I asked for a re-issued order...........
Well, guess what? Same again, DHL inform me the delivery has been delayed, and I should contact Fullers - so I phone again - "oh we'll check and get straight back to you".....no contact yet again from Fullers, so I phone after a few days, to be told about more smashed bottles........more calls.....more broken promises about being kept informed. I cancelled the order today, 18 days after placing it, having received nothing apart from a load of hassle, and being let down on the beer for an event being held today.
Rubbish service from Fullers, and Rubbish treatment from DHL. Other breweries manage to send their beers to me without fuss, bother or damage, so I can't think of any reason at all to attempt to use Fullers again, much as I enjoy their ales.
