It’s been over 10 years and we’d like to think we’re now pretty good at burgers and chips. It’s been a bit of a blur, a lot of hard work, but that’s been half the fun. Good enough just isn’t good enough here. We don’t mean to brag but we’re all about top quality beef, the best potatoes and good times. Don’t just take our word for it though, we’ll let our food and people do the talking. After all, we’re Just Being Honest… From day one, we wanted to make the best British burgers on any menu, anywhere. So we spent time getting to know the best butchers in London. And we’re butchers too. We’ve opened our own butchery so we can make the burgers we’d always dreamed of. Our way. From scratch. Our beef comes from British native breed cows farmed in Great Britain & Northern Ireland. They’re grass-fed and well looked after with space to roam in the fields during spring, summer and autumn and only see a barn when it’s too cold outside during winter. We’ve also got our own butchery, making our burgers from scratch every single day.

When honest burgers first started serving on uber around a couple of years ago I used to order from them as it was an alternative to halal selling outlets but they started selling halal yet call call it honest beef?! Why is one religion’s approved slaughter being imposed on others who are against this type of ritual slaughter which also causes suffering by slower death?!

I have been a customer of Honest Burger for many years but in the last 6 months the quality of the take away burgers has been very bad. I order a blue cheese burger and a vegan burger and a smashed cheese burger. The meat was burnt on the outside and dry and chewy. The bread tasted hard and dry. out of the 3 burgers none tasted good.
Camden. One gluten intolerant and one imniosuppressed customer. Ordered onion rings, fried chicken burger with GF bun (hard and burnt) and the house burger (well done) Fries were like they had been reheated, shrivelled cold and not seasoned. Burger was ordered well done, but left blood on the plate and bun. Left 3/4 but the manager wiped our bill as we couldn't eat it. Guy on table next to us ordered no onions as he had an allergy. Burger came out, had onions in! He'd eaten half and was shouting he was going to be sick now! Horrible experience. Will not return. Thankfully the lady who wiped our bill was very understanding.
Came to the restaurant the other day with a friend and was very unhappy with the service received and racist comments made towards us by the front of house girl with glasses and blue eye glass chains, not sure if she was a manager or not but my friend wasn’t sure on what to order so we needed some more time before ordering and when the girl came back the 3rd time she called my friend a weird N***A just because he wasn’t sure on what to order we could see she was getting frustrated because of how busy the place was but that’s no excuse for my friend to recieve that kind of abuse, a message to all if you see that girl then do not let her serve you

Great staff service, the honest burger i found was pretty tasteless as medium pink. Mcdonalds does a better burger than them if im being honest. Maybe bad luck lol

Amazing smashed fresh burgers (and they are fresh, you can tell) at a great price considering its a Resturant in London. A sit down service meal and drink for just over 20 pounds, cant get much better. The burgers are so so tasty with great fillings and melt in your mouth taste and great flavour. I note some reviews complain of raw, you do get a choice how you want them cooked, and medium with a bit of pink middle was fine for us. The Rosemary salted fries are sublime original and the best chips we have had. The service can appear slow, but when the resturant is full at peak times, what do you expect?, would you rather go somewhere no one is as thats not a good recommendation is it. From what we saw the staff were all working incrediably hard and professional to get the food to your table as quick as possible, and I would not say the wait was any longer than any other busy resturant we have visited in London. Overall excellent service, excellent staff, excellent price, excellent food . We visited Honest Burgers in South Bank.

I was told by Honest burgers staff that they were doing free meals for the whole day since it’s their first day opening. After i did my bits, I went there and found it almost empty at peak time (15:00). The man I assume was the manager, saw me walk and quickly rushed to the front whilst I was being served by a host. He asked me how he can help and I said I was told there was freebies for the day. He said no that was for limited time. I said this is what i was told by staff. He simply shook his head and said no. After sometime, I saw someone coming out and asked them if it was free and she said yes but she described the food as ‘mediocre’

Ok this one is about the Rewards scheme HB has been running lately. My beef with it is that the app is intentionally keeping important details of the conditions away from users. Example: the 15th anniversary £5 off is only applicable for the purchases >£15, the `free drink` is always the lowest cost drink, not the one that you choose as `free`. For some reason I find out all these details only after I've paid and applied the rewards. Neither app nor the staff make it clear. I get it, rewards are a promotional mechanism etc etc But it doesn't feel `honest`. So much so that in 7+ years I've been buying burgers at HB (having endured oversalted/cold/undercooked food) this is the one thing that finally made me leave this review.

The waiter on the door asked how many people and I told him two. He then said 15/20 minutes and closed the door in my face. I have used Honest numerous times and won’t be going back. Sort your rude staff out Honest

I have just had lunch at the Reading branch of Honest Burger. The service was great, as was the lemonade. My Chimichurri burger was delicious. The fries, however, were awful, really dry and tough. If I had to guess, I’d say they were reheated. I left at least 80% of them and the waiter didn’t even comment,
I guess that is normal.

East Dulwich HonestBurgers. The manager was ace cannot rate him highly enough.
Went here for Mother’s Day approx 8pm with my daughter. He went above and beyond. He made sure I had my Biscoff milkshake. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for more. 🎉🤩🎉

Bought a gluten free plant burger meal instead got a bacon meat burger not gluten free. So upset with the service. Honest burger turns dishonest. Offered a voucher but too late not buying again

It is a big shame to find out that Honest burgers use cruel halal meat in all of their burgers. A big no from me or anyone who cares about humane slaughter.
I have been to the soho location a few times on visiting the area and each time I leave happy. Vegan burger in particular is a standout a favourite of myself and wife.

In the past I've enjoyed Honest Burgers from the Hammersmith and Waterloo branches. However, the plant burger I purchased online from the Honest Burgers' Wimbledon branch was inedible because some of the ingredients which it had been made with were rancid and clearly past their sell by date. I nearly gagged trying to eat it. The fries were also not very fresh and far too salty for consumption. When I telephoned and complained to the manager of the Honest Burgers' Wimbledon branch about the above, he denied that I was sold rancid food and did not offer me a refund.

First off been going here for years when they use to not be many and was great experience, unfortunately lately with new one hoping near me, its gone down hill. Twice now i've order from Wimbledon and I got to say, the burgers are still good, but the rosemary chips are so bad now! Their more dry and so salty i feel like I just had seawater in my mouth with how dry they make my mouth. Can't even finish the chips. its that bad and yet we don't fet another options of chips. Even the people I was with complained about how salty the chips are there. Put me off them for awhile now. If you could just buy a burger without a side, that be good has the burgers are really nice.

(Wimbledon branch) Food is good, vegan burger was one of the best i have eaten. But the highlight, for which they deserve more than 5, is their allergen awarness and accomodations to any requests. Chicken burger on GF bread was also very good.

Only reason this is getting a 2 is because of the staff MK in particular was helpful
2 out of the 4 main adult meals come with Cold chips the chicken burger was probably 70% salt 30%chicken impossible to eat
Focused to much on delivery orders for online and not actually customer sat in the restaurant took over an hour for 4 meals few sides and a child meal when there was non stop online orders being prepared felt would seriously look into maybe a cut off time on online orders all in all a terrible night out

After having a problem with an order I spoke to the manger who was on a 2 half hour break so another of staff told me. After explaining my problem with my order and being told because they couldn’t find a driver my food has sat there for over a hour and they can’t keep track of it. He then said very sarcastically to me are you having a bad day ? Wow the manager is super rude! Have spent a fortune with this place never would again (Reading branch ) and I have emailed you multiple times and no reply !!!! Want me to show the you the emails ? Forever update they contacted me once in emails to ask what’s going on and never a reply !!!! Who ever looks after the customer support is just as bad !!!! Another company who don’t care about customer service !!!!
