John provided the most comprehensive and professional service. From the initial call to request his services to the almost immediate publication of the recordings after the event, John was the consummate professional. He uses high quality, pro level kit, and is clearly hugely experienced and extremely capable. His camerawork is excellent and the overall results are outstandingly good.

Set up was quiet, efficient and unobtrusive. Sound was organised well in advance and worked flawlessly. We only had the stream running from inside the church, but John filmed the burial too, and added it as a file after the live event. It was well put together, crystal clear and with only one camera he managed multiple shots seamlessly. All in all, we did not really notice him doing his work - which is exactly how it should be.

I cannot thank him enough for enabling family members from around the world to participate in the funeral of a much loved father and brother. If you're wondering about whether this service is for you, I can say wholeheartedly you must speak to John and use him for your event. It's an extremely professional and not too pricey solution - I can highly recommend.

We could not have been happier with the job that John did of live streaming my Mother-in-law's funeral. From the moment I contacted him, his responses were quick and helpful; with everything organised quickly after this. On the day itself he was there early and already set up; discreet and professional. The streaming itself was perfect; excellent camera skills and super quality. This also included him having to overcome some technical challenges that came with the service being in the middle of Dartmoor, and the signal difficulties that brings. All of his hard work and skill allowed family and friends abroad and others who were not able to be there in person to be part of the service. After the event the stream was available to watch again with John sending a download link the very next day. I could not recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much John.

Our family and friends are not just in the UK but scattered internationally as well which made streaming important to us. It was easy to arrange and very well done with the recording available for 3 months after the funeral plus a copy to download for those that were not able to access the live service

We needed someone to live stream my dad's funeral as we have relatives in New Zealand as well as other family members who couldn't make it on the day. Right from the beginning John put me at ease as the Church had no WiFi and we weren't sure it could be done...but it was. Totally efficient, unobtrusive and professional service. Would recommend John 100%.

John Gurd was wonderful; he was sensitive and helpful when I rang to arrange the live stream for my Mum's funeral. He took care of everything, and the stream was flawless, despite being in a "no signal" area! Both the sound & picture were clear and those watching really felt involved in the service. John organised a live streaming of my husbands service of Thanksgiving .many of our friends are old and frail and the video was such a help to them I’ve had endless messages of thanks from friends saying the video enabled them to really feel they were there and a part of the service. I would recommend John without hesitation

John did an amazing job in live streaming my Mums funeral from a tiny church with no internet & extremely variable mobile phone reception!

The whole process was expertly handled by John and he even visited the church in Devon in advance to double check what mobile signal was available! He responded speedily to my (many) email questions and expertly set up in the church in an totally unobtrusive way.

My sister in Australia was unable to come over due to illness but was understandably desperate to be involved. She recorded the eulogy which was played over the live stream as well as in the church and John put the slide show which we played on a TV in the church onto the video too. My sister, and others who were watching the live stream said they really felt part of the service and the filming and zooming camera angles were incredibly professional. They had uninterrupted streaming which was remarkable given the state of mobile reception in that spot!!

All in all, couldn't recommend more - the whole process was expertly & professionally handled by John from start to finish and our family and friends who couldn't make it felt part of the service.

John at funeral streaming service was nothing short of amazing from start to finish and our relatives from Japan to Australia who couldn't attend the service were amazed at the quality of the feed. Highly recommended and so professional.

John live-streamed our mother's memorial service, allowing friends who live abroad, or who are too frail to travel, to be part of it. We were delighted with the service he provided: he was unobtrusive and highly professional. Friends who had never watched live-streams before (so were unfamiliar with the technology) found it easy to use the link and to join in. We would highly recommend John's service.

John is a professional cameraman with extensive broadcasting experience with the BBC and others. He set up discreetly, quietly and professionally and many people watching Mum's funeral from home commented on the quality of the livestream, feeling really involved in the service - able to hear and see the whole event as if they were with us. Sadly I was unable to attend my mother-in-law's service of thanksgiving, as I had Covid. However I was able to watch the livestream and was really impressed with the quality of the sound and picture. Good zooming in when appropriate.

This is a fantastic service. The undertakers dealt direct with John and I didn't need to have any involvement which was just perfect.

The streaming feed and then the download able copy were of really good quality, I had really positive feedback from those that watched live online who said it was like they were sitting at the back of the Church.

My sister was unable to travel to our Dad's funeral because of Covid so we had the streaming set up for her but it also meant that other friends and family who either couldn't travel or were concerned about the Covid risk were able to watch.

Technically the quality was incredible, the professional kit meant that all of the sound was captured perfectly, including the tributes, even though John was right next to the Church organ! The camera panned in and out at the right moment but wasn't intrusive in the Church.

If you've seen fixed camera services from the Crematoriums, this is very much better than those, everyone I have spoken to felt that they were involved in the service rather than just being a bystander.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the service offered by John.
