John Gurd video-recorded my wife's funeral superbly. The camera was panned and zoomed appropriately to highlight either Canon Pusey, those reading the tributes or Dorothy's coffin completely in the context of the Service. The quality of both the video and the sound recording enabled me to see and hear aspects of the Service better than when I was actually there. I am pleased to recommend him most highly.

The 5 star rating that I've given for my review does not do justice to the amazing live streaming of my Dad's Memorial Service that John provided. Not only was the quality of the video outstanding but John was so professional in his communications and in the way he set up all of his equipment in the church so unobtrusively!

John streamed our mother's funeral. This was particularly important to us as my brother and his family are in Australia and were unable to get back. My brother was able to record his eulogy to be played in the church and on the live stream. John was very professional and efficient in the run-up to the funeral and unobtrusive at the service. He was able to add a montage of photo's to the live stream which our friends and relatives who were unable to attend were able to see. The live stream was also available after the service for people who missed the live streaming. We have had some lovely comments about how much the streaming was appreciated and we did feel that our friends and family were with us at the service. I would thoroughly recommend streaming funeral services and John Gurd in particular.

John replied quickly & efficiently to all emails & was very helpful. He sorted everything without any fuss and was very respectful and unobtrusive on the day. We had many comments from family and friends - including my brother in New Zealand - that the sound was excellent, the camera was setup to see the whole church & that the camera moved at appropriate times to cover all aspects of the service

Super-clear, well-presented video stream. No fuss, and very unobtrusive filming in the church.

I cannot recommend John highly enough. We asked him to live stream my father-in-law's funeral as my wife and family are based in Australia and travel restrictions made it impossible for us to attend. The service was held in rural Somerset, in a village with notoriously poor reception. John did a site visit beforehand, figured out how to get a reception and liaised with the Church Vicar, to ensure his equipment and presence was discrete. On the day, the filming was excellent, the signal perfect and my wife felt she was there. John made the entire process, from start to finish, much easier than I had anticipated. Great service, thanks.

John organised the live-streaming of my Mum's funeral, in Totnes. From the start of the process (ie initial phone call) to finish, John was helpful, professional, sensitive and discreet. At such an emotionally-charged moment in our lives, his approach was just right. He arrived early and ensured that the set up was done properly and well on time. We were initially a little worried about filming the ceremony as we thought it might cause a disruption, but we hardly noticed him at all during the ceremony, he really blended into the background. The end result was very good indeed - a real success especially given our ceremony was held in a marquee on a windy day but the sound quality was great - you could hear every word. Thank you John, you provide an excellent service, and in these times of Covid, it is a wonderful way to enable guests who can't make it to a funeral to really feel that they are part of it. Huge thanks.

Highly professional with clear images and sound and, superbly, you followed the proceeding of a High Mass with great care, directing with consummate skill and sensitivity. He was up front about costs and quickly checked out the signal strength at the church and advised that he couldn't live stream but would up load the video immediately after the service. As a company you are to be complimented on the technical quality of everything (September 13th: Scriven funeral. You obtained variety through the use of a number of cameras, all of which were wells-sighted. The treble response was particularly clear. This the fourth streamed service I have 'viewed' and it was the finest. The only missing detail I would have found helpful was a written set of footnotes telling me, a visitor, who was who.

John did a fantastic job in everyway. The live stream itself was clear, professional, seamless and everyone that watched it across the world were so thankful. Beyond that, he was incredibly easy to coordinate with and when I finally met him on the day, I was instantly even more at ease -- just a great person doing a great service fir families.

Wholly positive experience using John's service, from beginning to end. The website was clear, and John was professional and friendly. On the day of the funeral, I don't think many of the attendees knew he was there, his presence was so unobtrusive. Those watching the actual livestream said it was crystal clear - even those in New Zealand! Watching it back later, the quality is obvious. The aftercare was also excellent. Many thanks.

Higher Ground Meadow in Dorset suggested John Gurd of Funeralstreamingservices wouls film and stream my late wife's celebration of her life. From the first phone call contact John was excellent, clear and arranged to meet me on site well beforehand. I decided to have two cameras. On the day he was there early to set up and we agreed the best camera position. The end result has been much appreciated by family and friends.

I have had nothing but very positive responses from people who watched the service online: very good sound quality and images. The presence of the camera man in the church was totally unobtrusive and having watched the video later I was surprised about the high quality close-ups of the speakers.
A lovely touch was the shots of the outside of the church as introduction.
