Lack of quality control at Zest Outdoor Living

Ordered a Zest Tenby Arbour from GardenSite on 18th Sept and it was supplied directly by Zest on 26th with one of the sides slightly damaged (not by the courier) and the three pre-drilled holes in the wrong position. I reported this to GS by email and sent photos. Matthew took the part number and immediately arranged for Zest to send a replacement. On 1st Oct I received a replacement part but it was for the wrong side and I contacted GS, and once again Matthew immediately arranged for Zest to send the correct part which promptly arrived today (8th Oct). I'm happy with the quality of the product and with GS's excellent customer service, but utterly baffled as to why Zest do not properly check items before despatch. Not only must it have cost them to put right their own mistakes, but it's put me off ever ordering any of their products in the future.

I ordered a bench via Charlies website…

I ordered a bench via Charlies website and the product was coming direct from Zest. We were told expect product between 7-10 days. We wer'nt told who was delivering or given any idea of day or tracking information. First we knew that the bench should have been received was when I checked Charlie online to find order had been completed. We chased Tnt every day and every day we were promised delivery until we finally gave up and requested refund. There is a total lack of communication between Zest and 3rd party sellers.

Two pieces of cracked garden furniture - twice

We ordered a bench and companion set that were not high-end but still fairly expensive.
On arrival there were no instructions or fixings for the companion set and there were serios cracks in parts of both items.
We had them inspected by a carpenter contact and were told they could not be repaired with acceptable results.
Today we received replacement items that are possibly more damaged than the first.
We are in the process of obtaining a refund.
Robert Dyas customer care services are excellent and have been helpful throughout.

Recently purchased the arbour for my…

Recently purchased the arbour for my new home and for a builder to assemble along with other jobs. If I lived nearer to the to the retailer, or been prepared to pay for further labour costs, I would have returned. All the pieces, apart from the side trellis, were either totally warped or twisted. I have had it secured to a wall to try and pull it back into shape but doubt it will ever look straight.

Delivery failed

Let me order item and pay then emailed saying not in stock/can't deliver to address. Should be more clear with delivery and not have items available to order when they are out or stock.

Really pleased with this cabinet

Really pleased with this cabinet. Only one fault. They put the part number between the glass and wood on door. It’s inside so only visible when door open but still a bit annoying.

Great bed settee

Great bed settee, very quick delivery and well packaged. Had to put together final bits ourselves but directions were very clear and assembly was straightforward. The bed settee is extremely well made and sturdy, excellent value for money! 👍👍👍
