Gas Worx Southampton came out promptly to deal with my 96 year old mothers leaking boiler. Sam the engineer was very friendly and professional. The boiler was replaced and even my mother was pleased with the work which is praise of the highest level.

Sam & Ed worked tirelessly all day to early evening. The unvented water system works as promised and we now have good water pressure throughout the house.

The whole team were great from start to finish. From working with Stuart to amend the original online Thermaskirt layout design done by Discrete Heat to a more sensible and less costly one. To the hard work of the installation team of Sam, Ryan and Ed for the 6 days it took in the end to replace all the radiators with Thermaskirt. Even thought the replacement took nearly twice as long as estimated due to the unexpected solid floors and challenges of the non standard size pipe work, we were only charged a small extra cost for some parts to connect the different gauge pipes. The original quote for fitting cost was honoured.

Great from start to finish

My system just wasn’t heating up since having an extension with an additional 6 radiators, after being told by many people that the cause was an underpowered boiler, I contacted GasWorx for a boiler replacement quote

To my surprise, I was told that I didn’t need a new boiler and that in fact all my issues are down to a dirty system that was restricting flow

A few days later, GasWorx’s fitted me in and an engineer arrived onsite with all the gear !

6 hours later and my system was running clean and clear and the heating is working better than ever

I can’t thank you enough for sorting my system out and for being so upfront about what was causing my heating issue, I mean most would have just charged me for a boiler replacement!

You have saved me so much time and money and for that I am truly grateful

My old combi boiler had undergone some TLC tweaks over the years to maintain hot water to my property by Gas-Worx. Sadly, it was time to replace it with a younger model.

I had only ever read or heard horror stories from others about new boiler installs and their cost, so I was quite nervous.

However, Gas-Worx reassured me from the initial discussion about the entire job end-to-end, considering every detail and explaining everything thoroughly. They even offered finance to pay for the job. When I received the invoice for the high-end ATAG boiler installation, I was delighted to know that I did not require the finance as the whole job was affordable.

I only wished I had taken Gas-Worx's advice the year before and renewed the old boiler then instead of maintaining it. I had to buy and install a new flue and stack during that annual service.

The ATAG boiler installation took two days to complete, and I have been impressed by its efficiency and usability. It's quite an ingenious bit of kit!

I cannot fault the efforts of Gas-Worx. They demonstrate knowledge, honesty, patience, respect for their customers, and uphold their values, which results in outstanding work.

Quickly got back to me, arranged a visit to quote (?Chris) and kept me updated despite traffic issues (M27), received quote next morning, 5 days later Sam arrived promptly at 0800hrs, Sam detailed the work professionally and quickly, keeping me updated through the day, neat and tidy work, communicative and polite, highly impressed from start to finish with gas works, thank you for the fast turnaround.

They guided me through the whole process and were happy to help with any questions.

Very fast to reply to emails and I didn’t feel pressured at any point.

The installation team were lovely and very accommodating. They moved dates at short notice when I became ill and were incredibly flexible.

They attended late into the evening and at weekends to try and get the heating back on as quickly as possible.

5 stars isn’t enough!

I had decided to get an Air Source Heat Pump installed to replace my old EoL Gas Combi Boiler and, after getting quotes, chose Gas Worx for the job.

I was very impressed overall with their workers and service. Firstly their surveyor came around to look at the job and he actually *listened* to what I had to say (unlike one company who simply quoted, sight unseen and another that told me what they were going to do, despite what I'd said!)

There was then some discussion about recommended radiator sizes and, following my suggestions, they re-used some of my existing rads in different rooms, instead of having to replace them all with new, and they tweaked the setup, again based on my needs.

There was only one real glitch in that they'd ordered some insulation to be sent to my address, but we'd not been told this would happen, nor did we recognise the name on the label, so rejected the package which then had to be re-sent.

This caused a slight delay in the installation until it arrived, but the rest of the work was done very professionally with lots of explanations about what was happening and how to get the system operating at peak efficiency.

They also realised that a pump they'd installed wasn't sufficient for the job, so they replaced it with an uprated model that would be more efficient at no extra cost.

Actually it ended up being too efficient and for the first week or so, we were sweltering until I found out how to adjust the temperature curve to give the right sort of output to keep the house comfortable without being too hot!

They'd also arranged for my old gas cooker to be disconnected and their electrician replaced it with an electric one I'd bought (no point in paying £100 p/a gas Standing Charges just for a cooker!) as part of the job.

All in all, it was a satisfactory experience and I'd have no problems recomending Gas Worx to anyone who wants a Heat Pump installed.

From the moment we started to talk to Stuart we knew he knew his stuff. Very impressive coverage of all choices in terms of electric vs gas, and very helpful and honest in terms of explaining pros and cons.
And we like that his advice for us wasn’t about the most expensive option - it was pragmatic.
Communications were efficient and responsive, the installation work he and his colleague did was high quality and they cleaned and cleared up after themselves - which is also a plus!
We are happy to recommend Stuart and Gasworx to anyone who wants to experience an expert, well executed service which is good value, expert and honest.

These guys took all the stress out of having my home taken apart to have heat pump installed. There on time super clean and tidy nice people to work with excellent job finished on time to a very high standard what more can you ask hope this help you decide.

We engaged Gasworx to fit skirting board radiators by Thermoskirt (look like skirting boards but do the job of full radiators) Sam the fitter was meticulous, efficient and proffessional and awesome re customer service.

Excellent professional service installing replacement Air Source Heat pump and upgrading / replacing radiators as required.

Stuart did the original survey taking us through everything that was required and the installation was meticulously managed by Sam who was very thorough, efficient and attentive to detail throughout the 5 days he was on site.

Ryan worked solidly until my new boiler was installed. He was very professional. tidy and after the job was completed. explained the important working details of the boiler. This was very useful while the manuals are yet to be read.

After doing a good deal of research and getting recommendations for firms to provide and install a combi boiler, I got in touch with Gas Worx, an Eastleigh-based business that was suggested to me. After my first inquiry with the very helpful Kyrstie, Richard was scheduled to come to assess the house, offer advice, and provide a quotation. I also obtained several other quotes, but opted to choose Gas Worx, not just as a result of their competitive quotation, but also because of the professionalism of their approach.
Ryan, the Gas Worx installer, was professional, courteous, and efficient. He arrived on time and completed the installation within the estimated time frame. He took the time to explain the installation process and explain how the boiler worked, and patiently answered the various questions I had. The boiler itself is excellent and looks really good, is working perfectly and has already made a noticeable difference in my home’s heating efficiency.
I heartily recommend Gas Worx to anyone in need of a boiler installation.

Seriously, I was very impressed with Richard when he came to do the survey, and especially with Sam who did the installation. He is a very personable and friendly young man who arrived on time, was efficient, tidied up after himself and fully explained the system to me and my son who happened to be here. He was on site for 5 minutes short of 10 hours but was as pleasant at the end of that time as he was at the start. Definitely a credit to the company.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Gas Workx to friends and family.

Richard surveyed our home and Ryan and Sam of Gas Worx Southampton fitted the complete central heating system in our ground floor flat. Very quick, Started Monday and finished Thursday mid day.
