The Gasworx team were amazing from start to finish, after being messed around by a local and national company a friend recommended Gas Worx and they were so helpful and able to diagnose the issue that the previous 2 companies couldn't and even fixed it same day, can't ask more than that!!! Would deffo recommend to anyone looking for a excellent and reliable service.

Sorry to read that you did not receive a smooth process whilst looking for quotes following submitting a request on BoilerGuide. This website isn't directly through us we are 1 of 3 contractors that would have been informed of your enquiry. Our Surveyor, Richard came out to your property on the afternoon of the 7th of July to provide a quote for the boiler replacement works if we were to complete them. He sent this over by email following the visit.

Excellent Service!
We had a new combi boiler installed to replace our conventional one. The engineer was friendly, punctual and efficient and left the loft clean and tidy. He also took time to explain how the new system worked. Gas Worx were a pleasure to deal with all round.

Efficient, prompt and hard working.
From our initial contact, Richard and Stuart were efficient and prompt in their replies unlike the other companies we contacted. They always reply to your emails and texts. A survey was carried out promptly and a quote giving us a number of options for us to consider. After accepting the quote they contacted us regularly to keep us in the loop as to when the work would commence. The men that did the work were efficient and hardworking. Once the work was completed, Stuart inspected it and returned the next day to put the finishing touches on.
I would highly recommend this company as they are an efficient and hard working.
Only thing to watch out for is there are a number of companies in Southampton with variations of the name Gasworx. Make sure you get Richard and Stuart.

These guys are great last night extended my outside tap to match the ev charger and extra power socket previously fitted. Iv now booked them in to do a water softener. We have no gas so they also fitted a full heating system with electric boiler two years ago. Brilliant

Amazing! From start to finish the whole experience was brilliant. Richard came out to quote for our new boiler he was polite and efficient with no sales patter and provided us with a quote there and then. When it came to the installation we had 2 installers, Scott and Stuart, who were both brilliant (despite a few issues which were dealt with without any fuss or added expense). They were a little bit more expensive than the other companies, but they certainly know their stuff and make the effort to visit to provide a quote instead of just making a phone call like other companies.

Would not recommend them to anyone, check your invoice as they charge you for things you did not have, and as work workmanship and time keeping, they left the flooring a mess after cutting the floor to get to the pipes, I had to put noggins under the floor to be able to put the flooring back down, then had water damage to living room ceiling witch was freshly painted, and as for being clean, left all the rubbish at the property and only took cooper and any think that was good for scrap money, even took cooper from the house that was not part of the rip out,
Thought it would have been a good company to go for as they prosent there self well with there Web page and vans all sign written, but not the case,

Good Morning Mr Batchelor,
I find your review a touch unfair, if you had any concerns you could have contacted us and we would have resolved the issue, we always answer the phone or reply to emails.
1: The invoice was unchanged from the estimate you received on the 24kw model. You wanted the 28kw model and we told you the extra cost was ££. You agreed over email. No increase was applied.
2: Unfortunately that week we had an engineer with sickness and it did put some pressure on us to complete within your timescale we were also trying to help you complete the boiler move and heating works before your kitchen was installed. In hindsight, there wasn't enough time. We did our best to accommodate. We strive to have the best workmanship possible and are always adding new and additional improvements. We used 90% press-fit fittings on your job and bent many pipework supplies to ensure good flow, pipes were sleeved and nail clipped to ensure they didn't creek, we also used copper and not plastic pipe under your floor, A full power flush was completed and I stayed late to ensure it was clean for no extra cost. We ran over on the time allowed and had it completed with no extra cost to you. We also only use professional traders to complete the roof flashing and brickwork. There was a fault with the brickwork but I had them return to correct this for you. I cleaned all the rubble from the canopy.
3: The original floor was damaged by prior works long before we attended your property. I used a multi-tool along the joist lines to ensure little noggins would be needed but the area with the vertical pipework was really unusable and I suggested replacing it with Chipboard. At the time there was a full house refurb ongoing and when we spoke you were happy to resolve the floor, if this wasn't the case you should have said at the time and I would have made arrangements.
4: As you are aware plumbing pipework has water in it. We fully drained the system and use the wet vat to clear, we altered your hot/cold pipework in your kitchen ceiling for no additional costs, where you saw me drain the water out. Cutting pipework below the floor level can have water laying in them, At your request, I cut them out otherwise we would have left them in situ. Very minor stain on the ceiling which I offered to stain block and paint over for you. We always do everything possible to ensure all water is removed.
5: Regarding the metal collected, we only took what you wanted to be removed? In the small cupboard in the bedroom, you requested the pipes to be taken out. We had the boiler collected by a metal merchant and the only items left would be the cupboard for the boiler and flue. I believe you said we could put this in the back garden with the kitchen waste.
I take your concerns very seriously and I am sorry you were not fully satisfied with our work,
