Complete new system in a Southampton flat
A 15 yr old system in a Southampton flat unexpectedly needed urgent replacement and I researched local tradespeople who could handle the work. My choice was Stuart and Gas Worx Southampton as they were efficient, the quote was comprehensive & competitive, plus they responded in a timely manner.
The work done was a full electric boiler and cylinder swop (install) and everything was done in 3 days, with the workmen being courteous, clean, tidy and on-time. They also provided a complete explanation of everything we needed to know and therefore I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company.

Fitted a new boiler to my rental…
Fitted a new boiler to my rental property in Southampton a few year back.
The install looked good at the time (though one of the joints later leaked).
The job was let down by leaving the old flue debris in the loft! I only discovered this after my tenants left and I had to clear out the property.
I contacted Stuart to request that he dispose of the old old flue and got no reply.
I would just say, keep a check on what is left behind after any work is completed.
In view of the reply I received to the last review (claiming the boiler is under the stairs, which it is not and didn't go in the loft, which he did), I am deducting another star.

We are new to trust pilot and only just claimed it. I am very sorry to hear you didn't receive a reply from me. Did you call or just email? As good as I am at replying to emails I do missed some and also some end up in Junk by mistake. Regarding the claims of a flue in the loft if this is the job I remember the boiler located under the stairs, we would have no reason to enter the loft for this replacement. We always leave any scrap outside for a local metal man to collect, has worked for us for a long time. Regarding any leaks after install would have been resolved if a call was made. It doesn't happen often but we are only human.
I was only trying to remember which job you are, this was almost a year ago, didn't mean to offend. We install many boilers for people in many different locations. If an address could be sent to my email I would then be able to locate the installation. I'm Glad its all resolve. Many thanks
