My order for another garage opener came very quickly, then watched the video and read instructions but could not get it to work! Rang and spoke to Stephanie who talked me through the process and worked instantly.
Cannot fault the service I received

Great service. My garage opener was discontinued and their search made it really easy to find the right replacement. Arrived very quickly with instructions which worked! Absolutely no fuss and really pleased.

I ordered a garage remote from Gate Remotes via Amazon, but no longer needed the item once it arrived. I returned it unused and in its original packaging.

Gate Remotes later claimed the remote control had a pen mark on it and refused to issue a refund, stating they could not resell it in that condition. As I never opened or used the item, any mark must have already been there before dispatch or occurred after it was returned.

What I find particularly unreasonable is that they kept both the product and my full payment (£49.90). If the return was rejected, the item should have been sent back to me rather than withheld.

Based on this experience, I would not order from Gate Remotes again or recommend them. The handling of this return has left me with concerns about their quality control and customer service practices

What a great company. We needed some replacement Hormann garage roller door remotes. We ordered from GateRemotes Ltd and they were such a reasonable price. The YouTube clips and instructions included in the parcel were so clear and helpful explaining how to open the remote, change battery and programme against our old remotes. All worked so simply.
