Actually got my parcel, however...
I did actually receive my parcel from ASOS with Gnewt, on the correct day and at 4pm (within the 8am-6pm window). I’m giving 3 out of 5 stars however as the tracking and customer communication is virtually non existent. The only way I’ve managed to find a way to communicate with Gnewt is via twitter. Even Hermes is easier to contact! Glad my parcel arrived but I still don’t feel at ease with Gnewt.
So it seems I am yet another
So it seems I am yet another, angry, ASOS customer after having their Premier Delivery service for years with never a problem they now seem to be using these cowboys - I was told delivery between 7:am -10:pm Needless to say after waiting in all day they apparently couldn't get access - what? to pressing an entry phone button with my door number on... ASOS were a waste of time all I got was sit in again all day, and wait for a parcel that may or may not come - and then get back to us on day 3 if it hasn't arrived..The old courier company kept you updated down to exactly when it would be delivered and they always came when they said they would..literally!
So disappointed in ASOS..
Worst company ever.
Echoing the other reviews. Horrendous unreliable and dishonest company. How can it really be "green" when all parcels get driven around 3 times then sent back. There's no way they attempt delivery, they just pretend they do. Have ordered the same items three times to no avail. Terrible service, ASOS needs an alternative courier. I would pay double just to get my things on time.
Utterly terrible - ASOS should not use such cowboy suppliers
Utterly terrible - claimed they couldn’t deliver on Friday even though we have a 24 hour porter and then claim it was delivered to a “safe place” on Saturday and it is no where to be seen. Given the only safe place in a secure block of flats is with the porter I’m not holding out much hope of it turning up
To make matters worse the item is no longer in stock so I can’t even order a replacement
Now I have to wait for ASOS to investigate. Way too much stress, won’t be using ASOS again until they change delivery companies. Given I’m clearly not the only one experiencing these problems I’m really disappointed with ASOS using such a poor supplier
Can anyone tell me what scanned off van…
Can anyone tell me what scanned off van means please? I received a text from ASOS at 10:12 this morning saying my order will be delivered between 8am-6pm... I then attempted to track it through gnewt around 17:00 to see the last slot message says scanned of van with the time showing 18:45.... anxiety kicking in
This company is absolutely terrible!
This company is absolutely terrible and ASOS are just as bad for using them. I have never received a NEXT DAY delivery order with Gnewt and what annoys me the most is that their depot is only 5 mins away so they have no excuse! I ordered an item from ASOS on Fri for delivery on Sat and surprise surprise they didn't bother to deliver. There was a scan at 15:48 saying held redelivery. It didn't even make the van and I was home all day. Companies like ASOS should stop using them as they clearly can't fulfil their delivery commitments.
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Literally watched the driver decide to clock off early instead of delivering my package. Saw the driver drive past my work and watched him drive past parking and 6 minutes later my package was in depot for ‘re-delivery’ even though noone tried to deliver it in the first place. Had 2 days of this and eventually I bagdered the delivery company until they promise to deliver my pacel a day late than the expected delivery date! I know a day later seems a bit of a reach but it was meant to be delivered a day before the due date but they decided to clock off! I had a text on the 2nd and it was delivered on the 4th at 5pm. Never ever had this with asos! They’re gonna lose customers because of this! It is obviously more cost sufficent for them to do it like this but this company is not the way forward! Terrible! Find someone else
Took 6 days for them to actually get my…
Took 6 days for them to actually get my parcel to me after saying no access every day...not true. Someone was home.
Then to top it off after I complained to Asos delivered it by putting the two parcels through my letterbox. Why not just do this in the first place?!
Absolutely worthless
Absolutely worthless, ASOS run away from this!
I live in a building with 35 other apartments. I never had a problem with companies delivering next door (they run a company from there and are always in), but Gnewt apparently doesn’t know how a doorbell works. For 3 consecutive days they’ve put down ‘No Access’ as a reason for not delivering. What do they expect, people living in houses without doors?!
Absolutely worthless.
This company is a joke
This company is a joke! And worse the companies that use them such ASOS is a joke for using them. Words delivery company in the world!
How are these cowboys allowed to trade!
Awful
Awful. The driver claimed my package was delivered, signed for it himself and now it's missing and I can't get a refund on my item. He was also incredibly rude to the security in our building. No communication and liars. Do not use.
ASOS PLEASE STOP USING GNEWT!
ASOS PLEASE STOP USING GNEWT!
I had three ASOS parcels "delivered" today, yet I don't have any of them in my hands. Gnewt claims they delivered to a "safe letterbox", well, I ordered a pair of shoes, three pairs of shorts, and two t-shirts. I doubt they would fit into my letterbox that barely fits an envelope. Needless to say, I have no idea where my parcel was actually delivered to and now I have to wait for ASOS to do an investigation before they either refund me or send me replacement items. TERRIBLE COMPANY.
Horrendous experience
Horrendous experience. They don't leave a delivery note. They don't reply to emails (if they do it is with WRONG and vague information). They just return it to sender and continue to tell me to collect from depot. I wasted a whole morning on this and the staff couldn't have cared less. What a waste of space!!! This company will make me stop ordering from ASOS which is a real shame!
It's a horrible company
It's a horrible company. I have ordered from asos twice, the same items within two weeks. Main reason, first time this company didn't make an attempt to deliver(I have 24/7 reception with cctv) and just returned my parcel to asos, second time - no delivery attempt made, I tried to reschedule the delivery, no success with their tools provided. No way to contact the company, no replies to emails. If you cherish your time and you want your items to be delivered don't use this service.
With which neighbour?
Gnewt, please, have some initiative - if you don't leave a delivery note and only use a tracker to tell customers that their delivery is "with a neighbour" but with no door number or useful information then they are going to get annoyed.
Everyone I know has something bad to say about Gnewt. It's the same story time and time again.
Sort it out or you're going to lose a lot of contracts, fast.
Please Asos, ditch this lot
These clowns have literally never managed to deliver one of my Asos orders on time. I pay for next day delivery and I'm obviously being ripped off as they are completely incapable of carrying that out.
Deliveries seem to "fail" despite the fact you're in all day, even when you have "missed" the courier they never leave a note.
Last bright spark left the parcel with "a neighbour" without giving us a missed delivery note to say what neighbour they have left it with. Now have absolutely no clue who has the package.
Got to be the most incompetent delivery company out there. Hope Asos are able to end their contract with them ASAP or they're going to lose customers.
Lazy drivers!!!!!!!
I have been ordering from ASOS for many years now and s DPD that deliver it for me and I always get it the next day. Not once have I had an issue.
I ordered something on Wednesday (bear in mind I paid for next day delivery) so it should have been here by now.
I’ve tried tracking it and I find out it’s gnewt doing the delivery. They are liars. They’ve attempted to deliver it 3 times now but have written down NO ACCESS. I’ve been at home all day! This is so ridiculous seriously. They have no contact number either. What do I do........????????
Pleasantly surprised...
I have just received my Asos parcels on the expected date, with the added bonus of being first thing in the morning so I have the rest of my Saturday. After reading all of these shocking reviews, I was convinced my order wasn't going to arrive but my experience with Gnewt was exactly what I would have hoped for.
They are getting 3 stars rather than 5 because they do not give you a useful time window. Knowing that your order will arrive between 8am and 6pm is utterly unhelpful. Additionally, the courier tried to only give me one of my parcels and only when I showed him my second order confirmation did he begrudgingly go back to his vehicle to check.
My experience does seem to be atypical (and I wonder if it's because I live nearby their Depot in SE1) but I was pleasantly surprised at Gnewt's efficiency.
Gnewt and their inability to use a doorbell.
Gnewt NEVER seem to be able to deliver to my home address due to a ‘security door’ but they also never seem to be able to ring the door bell. They’re absolutely terrible. I pay for next day delivery from ASOS and my heart sinks whenever I get the email to say Gnewt are ‘delivering’! Absolutely useless company.
Terrible service - avoid
As with everyone else on this site, paid for a next day delivery service to an office building, had no update from Gnewt so I checked on the tracker and saw 'no access' attempted delivery and then within 10 minutes the item was scanned off the van back to the depot. Office was occupied all day and we have never had an access issue with any delivery firm before. Terrible service.
