Right from go, the customer service was amazing and the movers. Damo and Adam were great and made moving so less stressful

From the very start Grace removers were fantastic. We need to move our mother with out her being present and then had the settlement moved a few days, these guys helped us out in our most stressful time and just got everything done. Really appreciated that they worked with us and pivoted when we needed. They delivered with care and precision and would highly recommend them to anyone. Special thanks to Teressa whom help me out the entire move.

Sales rep initially was very good, until there was a problem. Communication breakdown resulting in later than expected delivery. As a result I had to arrange extra days accomodation. Some things got packed that were not supposed to, leaving me with the expense of sending them back. 3 items broken probably as a result if bring pushed into tight space. The pick up team worked hard and consistently. Breakages and wrong delivery dates could have been avoided with better communication. I have liased with a Grace representative in Vic who has been very helpful and professional.

Very professional organisation . If there was something in the paperwork or process that needed to be clarified, it was easy to ring and speak with someone . I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them .

I was returning from Adelaide, Australia to Edinburgh, Scotland after almost 18 years after my husband died. Traumatic time for me but Grace Removals, Adelaide took the strain away. They were fast, professional, caring and very efficient. From the quote (worked out to within 3 boxes of almost 200) to the packing, the thousands of miles journey using 3 ships and delivery and unpacking at my home in Scotland - absolutely wonderful. As I unpack the last of the boxes I see how they cared for my valued belongings. Administration staff who amazingly looked after the contents of my home those thousands of miles. Thank you all so much.

Excellent service overall. I would highly recommend your company to any friends who are planning to move.

Very friendly staff. No breakages. Invoicing was confusing as it didn't show amounts outstanding with GST. Overall though, the experience was well worthwhile especially the packing! I needed to understand the white box better from the start though.

Friendly helpful group of people but totally professional throughout the entire process.
Care taken regarding both furniture and belongings as well as care with walls and doorways at the old site and the new site.

Grace helped me moved international and within Adelaide as well (simultaneously). The best set of folks you can rely on to do this for you. A very talented and great subject matter experts. A big shout out to Kara, Debbie, Miles, Ryan, Natasha, David, Jordan, Oliver and Tony, for enabling such a seamless transition for me which was nothing short of the highest level of complexity.

We are very unhappy with the experience, though we would like to note that the two men who brought our belongings into the house at Mount Torrens were excellent — friendly, respectful and careful with our furniture.

When our belongings were picked up in Murrumbateman, we warned the removalists that the ground was soggy in a patch close to the building where the bulk of our boxes were stored. However, the driver decided to drive across that patch and park close to the building for convenience. As he was driving out at the end of the day, the truck became bogged. It was hauled out the next day, leaving large divots in the ground. Grace agreed, after some protracted negotiation, to pay for both the tow truck and to have the lawn repaired. In the course of uplift, a polished red gum coffee table was badly scratched as a result of moving it on a metal sack truck without any protection. Alan had offered to assist carrying the table by hand, but this was declined.

Our biggest concern is the state of our furniture when finally delivered to Mount Torrens. 6 pieces of furniture in total have been damaged and one piece is missing:
• an antique sideboard: one of the legs has been broken off completely (with no sign of the broken leg) and one leg has been damaged with part of it missing.
• a contemporary sideboard has one leg broken
• a retro 3-legged half-circle foyer table has had almost all dowel connectors snapped and screening skirt damaged
• a red gum coffee table has a deep scratch on the upper surface, as described above
• an office desk has collapsed completely and cannot be repaired. It was observed in the delivery truck with multiple boxes of books stacked on top of it. It obviously couldn’t cope with the weight and this seems to have been the case with all the damage mentioned previously apart from the coffee table
• a bookshelf is missing.

We had taken out the optimum insurance recommended by Grace. As a result of our initial report of damage we were referred to the insurance agency, Intercept Loss Adjusters, and completed the requisite paperwork, plus provision of photos, for a claim. We have received notification that the claim has been approved and payment is said to be forthcoming. But this has done little more than return to us the insurance premiums we had paid for removing, storage and delivery.

The compensation for damage and loss takes no account of the distress caused to us, most especially for the damage to a family heirloom (the antique sideboard). It has disrupted considerably the process of setting up our new home, especially because boxes of domestic items such as crockery cannot be placed in the sideboards, nor the arrangement of the house be brought to completion. We are looking at a substantial delay of time as we negotiate the repair / replacement of the items, the finding suitable repairers and arranging transport.

All this caused us a great deal of stress, especially given that we had chosen Grace on the basis of assurances and recommendations, and been willing to pay considerably more for the service than we had been quoted by other removalists (for example Chess). We are hardly in a position to recommend Grace to anybody.

For Interstate removal plus car transport reasonable quote. Packing crew were on time, worked steadily and efficiently. Friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Removalists also arrived on time. Again were friendly, worked steadily. There was communication every step of the way. Furniture was delivered/unloaded as per contract. Guys did a great job. Follow up phone call to ensure all went well. No problems. Car arrived in pristine condition.

Everything was great from packing to delivery. Quotes were the best. Paperwork made easy. Only complaint was the delay in the arrival of the freight, however there seems to be no control of the removal company to shipping dates, but expected delivery dates were still out by about 4-5 weeks. It worked out ok but would have been nice to know the range of dates so I would be better prepared. The affiliate company in Netherlands was excellent in communicating customs clearance and road transport to delivery dates were still and time. Goods arrived in perfect condition. Would definitely use Grace and the freight company they use in Europe again. Good job.

Everything went downhill after the sales meeting. The sales representative was very reassuring and compelling, however on moving day things went downhill. The movers were rude and disrespectful.

When delivery was due to arrive in the UK, we were given a date, which I confirmed was not possible and was rebooked. But what happened? The delivery people turned up at the original date anyway at 7.30pm right after returning from a holiday as I was trying to get two young kids to bed. It took close to three hours to unpack boxes and the delivery driver didn't have any tools to rebuild the bed as there was no communication from Grace.

Items within the shipment were broken clearly during the packing process, as they were damaged in the box with no damage to the outside of the boxes. Overall, the service was rubbish. I messaged Grace to discuss the issues I'd had, but they didn't even bother to reply.

Grace Removals has been helpful to help me handle my case, even though I am overseas and not in Australia in person. They answered my queries carefully and in detail. The moving also performed smoothly. A great team!

Excellent service. I was concerned at how some items were packed together, but I trusted that the packers were experienced. And sure enough, everything arrived in perfect condition, nothing broken, no hint of moisture or mould. Also I really enjoyed being able to track my goods across the oceans 😊

Extremely disappointed with the customer service team. They promised to get back to me about MANY broken items after using their service. I emailed several times asking for an update, and 5 months later I'm still waiting...

I chose to have packing and removal with Grace and i am so glad I did. Communication was amazing, the service was friendly and made easy. I had someone come out a few weeks before to make an inventory and tell me about what to expect. The packing was done the day before and every single item, including furnishings were well packed and made ready for the removalists. The movers came the following day and safely moved everything over to the new house with minimum fuss. So appreciated it.
