We had a good time. Informative tour - Carol, our guide, was excellent. Also the driver was exceptional. And Andrea was very helpful. Thank you!

Retail park boring.Enjoyed experience of steam train but second trip views of countryside were very limited Everything else excellent Particularly the excellent tour guide the bus driver and Debra.

An excellent opportunity to go to an exceptional stately home (Chatsworth), see interesting towns (Bakewell and Buxton), experience heritage railways, and see the Peak District in other ways.

Overall it was a great experience, very well organised with a lot of interesting things to see. Evening meals were a little slow on the first night but it got it's act together after that.

Excellent trip. Deb was fantastic as a manager.

Hotel was great. Tour manager was brilliant as was the bus driver. I was just a little disappointed at the need to stop to visit shops when more historical places deserved a visit to soak up the atmosphere of bygone days. Eyam deserved better than just a drive through. The Peak District is beautiful though and the trip was worth the money.

We had a happy time visiting some historical places and travelled through wonderful countryside, accompanied by our attentive guide and were given very interesting information. The whole experience is to be recommended.

A wonderful discovery of a part of the Country that had previously been unknown to me, other than from pictures and stories

Trips and organisation were excellent, breakfast was good, evening meal was terrible. Fish pie with no fish just potato with fish source all on boiler potatoes. Cottage pie wit a few grains of meat all set on yet more potato, so basically 99.9% potato.

The weather was very hot but hotel rooms and coaches at a comfortable temperature. Food was good. Lots of nice touring around the area. Carol, the local guide was clear and informative -obviously loves Derbyshire. Altogether a god, well managed trip.

Excellent trip. The scenery was magnificent, with an excellent local guide showing us round Buxton and on the coach trip of the Peak District. The tour leader, Graeme, was also first class; helpful, friendly and professional. Sadly, owing to the extreme heat, the steam rail trips were diesel-hauled, but that was to be expected. The hotel was ok, definitely not four stars - expect Premier Inn + and you won’t be disappointed .

Well organised tour.

Elements of this holiday were very enjoyable, notably Chatsworth and Buxton. However there was a lot of time spent in coach travel to reach our destinations and the last afternoon's coach tour was just too long, although we had an excellent guide. It was unfortunate that the very hot weather meant that the two trips on heritage railways were not steam hauled for safety reasons.
