Very good apart from hotel food Guide excellent Trips great Food useless
The group tours were well organised and punctual. Our tour guide Barbara was excellent. Also Carol, the guide to Buxton and our coach driver Roger. The hotel and meals were excellent.
A lovely introduction to the Peak District, an area I hadn't visited before
Wonderful. Relaxing trip, with Atha, who made us feel really looked after and paid real attention to our every need. This .ade for a true great holiday. Unfortunately, 4 stars only as, although hotel staff were really lovely and very helpful, especially for me as I have a very difficult diet and I was really well looked after by the restaurant .manager and staff, generally the food was quite meager. We had to order our meal the night before and for each course we were called up to get it, reminiscent of school dinners. We were very aware also that the hotel were working to a tight budget as the protein ele.ent was very little limited and often felt to be prepackaged. Another thing that could have been better was storage in our very nice room, as there were no drawers or shelves for clothes and belongings. It was obvious the hotel is o lying used to one night stays and b and b guests. Location was great, bed Comfy , breakfast very enjoyable.
An enjoyable trip with visits to some beautiful villages and heritage railways. Would recommend this trip
