A perfect trip to Athens & Naxos
We had an amazing time in Greece and Elena from Greece Insiders was fantastic, we gave a brief overview of what we wanted and she sorted everything out with little input from us, and got it spot on. Domestic flights, ferries, and transfers were seamless. The hotels were really nice, and we received a lovely welcome gift from Greece insiders when we arrived, with some local goodies. The guides were also amazing and informative. Our itinerary was available via an app that didn't need an internet connection so we always had the information readily available, and of course included some very appreciated local knowledge with restaurant recommendations etc. Elena was also very responsive via Whatsapp with anything we needed which is reassuring. Overall we had a lovely time and everything was made so easy for us, so we would definitely recommend Greece Insiders to anyone :)

Greece Insiders were amazing
Greece Insiders were amazing! We worked with Julia to plan our first trip to Greece, and it could not have been better. She listened to the type of trip we wanted, what our interests were, and special requests. She setup an amazing trip with drivers and guides for every step. We had no hiccups during the trip. Everyone we worked with was wonderful. Our hotels were nice and in the best locations, close to great things to do and see. My 8-year-old son will remember this trip forever. All of the guides made sure he felt included. We were able to see amazing historical sites with private tour guides that allowed us to have freedom to do and see things at our own pace. We even went to lunch with some of the guides and others dropped off at special locations such as museums. All of them treated us like family.
One of the best experiences was a farm to table excursion on Crete. We learned about the farm, picked our own vegetables, and then the chef worked with my son to make lunch which was incredible! We would never have picked this adventure if it hadn't been for Greece Insiders, and it ended up being one of our favorites during our 14-day trip.
I would definitely recommend this agency. They are caring and know where to go to enjoy the mainland and islands in Greece!

The best trip!
We had the most amazing trip to Santorini through Greece Insider’s. They sent us many options for the trip and created the perfect customized plan within our budget. Communication was quick and clear. When we arrived, everything was taken care of from rides to hotel to restaurant reservations. They provided local tips and great recommendations. We didn’t have to worry about a thing! I highly recommend them to anyone traveling to Greece.

Julia booked the most INCREDIBLE family…
Julia booked the most INCREDIBLE family trip for us to Greece! It was a bit of a stressful trip planning for things all of us would like which included out 70 year old parents, and our 16 year old daughter. Julia was so exceptional to work with that I wish she was my tour guides for every location I travel to! We first connected with Julie through TravelLocal, Julia was ALWAYS quick to respond, she worked within our budget, she connected us with EXCEPTIONAL tour guides, she even met us in person in Greece, and selected excellent hotels, and she even sent us care packages with local goodies along the way and souvenirs to take home! I will recommend everyone I know to use Julia and TravelLocal!

Outstanding 2 weeks in Greece…
My family and I decided a trip to Greece was necessary. However, we knew next to nothing about how to go about it. After a quick internet search we found Zicasso. This turned to be a fortuitous find.
Zicasso asked us what we had in mind and based on our replies, they put us in touch with Greece Insiders. Our contact at Greece Insiders was Anthia. She worked with us to figure out what our interests were, what our budget was, what we had in mind. We had originally envisioned a 10 day trip. After adding this, changing that, and generally driving poor Anthia crazy, the 10 day trip turned into a 15 day trip. I think we went through 6 or 7 revisions of the itinerary. Throughout it all, Anthia was patient, knowledgable and professional. She gave us practical advice and made sure we included everything we wanted to do.
The end result was a the vacation of a lifetime. We had a great time. There was not even the slightest hitch in our plans. Hotels were great. Drivers showed up on time. Ferries and flights went off flawlessly. Anthia even checked in with us occasionally to make sure everything was going well. What travel agent keeps tabs on your trip just to make sure there are no issues? Greece Insiders even gives you the contact info of someone near where you are in case you need help or advice.
Guides knew their stuff.
We toured the Acropolis, Plaka, the Acropolis Museum, Mycenae, Epidaurus Napflio, Sparta, Mistras, and Meteora. Every tour guide we had was outstanding. Every guide we had was friendly, fun, and very knowledgable. The guides are locals from the area. So not only did they provide detailed knowedge of the site we were visiting, they all had a wealth of information on other interesting subjects. We had conversations not only on history, but botany, olive oil, best places to eat, ceramics, the Greek national basketball team's recent win, best places to get pictures, local wildlife, the list is endless. The time we spent with them passed too quickly.
In short, Greece Insiders is the way to go. Absolutely top notch service. Anthia, you did an amazing job. Thank you.
As a side note, if anyone reading this has never been to Greece and is on the fence about it, go. If you have even a passing interest in history, there are ruins, museums and so forth to hold your interest for months. If youre not into history at all, still go to Greece. The country is beautiful. Its completely safe. Even walking the streets of Athens after dark we never felt uneasy. We didn't have a bad meal the 2 weeks we were there. The Greek people are warm, laid back, friendly, and as an added bonus( for English speakers atleast), most Greeks speak very good English. Oh and the beer is pretty good too.
Finally, I'd like to mention Hog. Hog was our driver for the 5 days we spent on the mainland of Greece. If you need to know what something is, ask Hog. If you need advice on where to go for dinner, ask Hog. He found out my daughter loves ceramics. He went out of his way to show my daughter a local ceramics shop. Then he and the owner of the shop took probably half an hour talking with her. My kid throughly enjoyed that. He is basicly a living, breathing version of Google for all things Greece related. Oh and he has excellent taste in cookies. We truly enjoyed his company. We still talk about Hog and miss him terribly. We made a lifetime friend.
To all of you who made our trip to Greece one of the best experiences ever, thank you. We sincerely hope our paths cross again sometime soon.

Our entire trip went very well. Thanos, our agent, was available from the planning through the end of our trip. He was responsive to our needs and always there for us through the entire trip. All of our accommodations were excellent. It was wonderful how convenient and punctual all of our transportation and connections were. The tours we went on were comprehensive, informative and fun. The tour guides were excellent and accommodating.

Our dream trip come true
This was a trip of a lifetime. We were 8 family members with a specific plan of seeing popular locations as well as ones off the beaten path in two weeks. Elena at Greece Insiders made it happen with ease. She took care of every detail imaginable—hotel reservations to restaurant reservations, domestic airline reservations to ferry reservations, tour guides at every stop to an awesome driver (Yannis is the best!) who was with us for 4 days. We started in Crete, went to Santorini, then to Athens and into the mountains and beaches across mainland Greece, ending up in magnificent Corfu.
We highly recommend Greece Insiders and if you're lucky enough to have Elena and Yannis... you, too, will have the trip of a lifetime.

We worked with Thanos through kimkim to plan our honeymoon to Greece and Italy. We had the best experience! He considered all our wants and needs in having a relaxed, but adventurous honeymoon. All the hotels were perfect and travel went smoothly. All drivers and pickups were on time. Our excursions were amazing. His itinerary was very clear and organized.
