Paid for a yearly subscription. a few months later, I noticed that access somehow stopped. I emailed Ground News on a Sunday and received a reply with how to fix it within 30 minutes. My problem was immediately fixed. An amazing tool that reminds me every day to put in check my own biases. I am very curious to learn how they will navigate the abundance of true fake and fafe fake news that will be coming our way with the help of cheap AI tools. I hope Ground News secures enough funding to pursue their mission.

I really like being able to track specific topics without getting bombarded with paywall-heavy content (unlike google news, which seems to be all about making me buy news subscriptions). Bias and factuality features are really awesome too. Eagerly waiting for more such cool features!

It allows you to see the news from all sides of the spectrum. It's a great app for world news!

Probably the best news tool ive ever used. It agrigates stories from major and minor news agencies, uses third party systems to classify the news source bias and factual reliability, then allows you to flip through the sources. The blindspot feature is brilliant to find stories that are minimized or avoided in the left or right media.

It's done a fabulous job of being a pipeline for world news. I love that I can modify my feed and zero in on specific topics and locations. The world map feature is great. Being able to read local media sources so easily is amazing. I also like the Blind Spot feature. Being made aware of alternate points of view is important.

It is the only ACTUAL unbiased news source I've found after at least 5 years of searching. I'm a real person with real opinions, and those opinions are that Ground News is awesome, (I even took the time to capitalize Ground News.) When my subscription ran out, they helped me out. Who does that?! Amazing. At least give it a try, you have literally nothing to lose.

Personalized attention (email from the CEO!), accurate and broad news reporting from many different sources, giving a rounded exposure to current events. Very well done app.

This app does the job informing you about where the news is coming from and what its bias is. My favorite part of the article features is the rating about whether a source deals in facts or are less than factual. I would recommend this app to anyone looking to understand the media they are absorbing better.

Very helpful and nice team, talking with then felt as if I was talking to a friend, app is really easy to use and shows any information I could need on a topic.

Great service run by people who clearly care about their work. I look at the app as my main source of news nowadays, and am subscribed to three of the newsletters.
The weekly polls in the latter are fun to follow along with and add a sense of community to the whole thing, since it'll be most of the same people replying each time. My one feature request would be to maybe have an optional "why do you feel this way" question in the form, and then share the most interesting responses in the next email.
The couple of times I've had to contact support over something, they've been very kind and professional, and solved the issue quickly. It's always felt like I'm talking to real people who are taking my issue seriously, and not a bot or underpaid call centre guy like with most companies. I have a lot of respect for this company and wish them all the success in the future.

Ground News allows me to see a large cross section of U.S. and world news. Bias ratings lend transparency to the process of reviewing the current news. The ability to customize the experience is helpful as well.
Meanwhile, most major U.S. news outlets cover a small fraction of the news, with emphasis on spectacular reporting designed to sell stories, complete with a large dosage of spin.
It is not easy to digest all the news that Ground News provides but I feel like I'm getting the news here, not just what the network wants to sell me.

These folks claim to have sent a renewal email. I didn't get one. I checked EVERYWHERE. Upon asking for a refund as money is tight and I'm not using the service enough to justify keeping it, I get a rude response saying "no, but good news, you'll have service until June 2024".
Try reading what you send to people.
Buyer beware. Just use google news. No price is worth this headache.

ground news is my every morning coffee companion.
In addition to covering major media outlets, the app presents a broad spectrum of news outlets from around the world with bias ratings. If you want to break out from your online bias rabbit hole, ground news is a fine and trustable tool.

Horrendous service. The good reviews must be paid off. It's so clunky it feels like it's in early beta and the quality of the news sources is highly questionable. I just kept getting weird fringe websites instead of the big stories from reputable outlets. If I used this exclusively for my news intake, I'd end up extremely ignorant of what's going on in the world.
I emailed them asking for a refund, and after 12 days I still have no reply. I've had to file a claim with my bank. Shocking.
