I must say I’m surprised it took so long for a service like this to surface. My Son, the ultimate sceptic, has been using Ground News for a while and swears by it. I have a history managing journalists in electronic media and still consume huge amounts of news copy daily striving to get as wide a variety of sources on a given story as possible. Ground is covering more waterfront than I could ever do myself. One caution, at the end of the free trial the notice that I was about to pay for the year went to my junk file and I got dinged. Not huge money and I’m happy to support this kind of journalist diligence but caveat emptor. I also think it’s a must have tool for any news room. Rush to download the app and tell your friends. In a time of fake news what better tonic?

Ground News is Ground Breaking ! Where else are you going to get a simple sliding scale on authorship of articles -- Conservative, Moderate or Liberal.
Especially these days, It really helps to know the source of the bias in the news.
Keep it up Ground News -- we really appreciate your efforts.

Ground news is a wonderful news aggregator with some excellent tools to help skim and identify bias. It provides a great way for me to quickly read articles from all perspectives and is fully deserving of the premium subscription to access their extra goodies.

This site is excellent, and I have recommended it to others. They're doing very important work in this day and age.

Ground News gave me insight into the choices I was making about my information sources, and that’s made me I’m a lot more clued in about my own biases and, actually, more open to arguments from other perspectives. I’m a lot less chauvinistic about my own opinions now, less quick to jump to conclusions, and much more interested in the complexities of situations, than in spouting ‘virtuous’ answers or ‘damning’ critiques. In an era of increasing polarity, Ground News is a balancer, a step toward insight and authentic dialogue.

Ground News is unlike any other news site I've experienced. It's actually a news aggregator, pulling together many different national and international sources of news into one site where you can indicate news topics you're interested in and then receive news articles on those topics daily from around the world.
Importantly, Ground News rates the bias of the news sources and even reports their ownership, so that you can see if a news site is impartial, leans left or leans right so that you can decide for yourself how trustworthy the site is. It has many cool features, and an annual subscription that covers many of its features costs less than $30. So worth it for those wanting to stay informed and who want to stay informed from trustworthy news sources! I love it.

As a scientist, I am always skeptic of biases in journalism.
Ground news covers many areas of certain headlines, and shows you the political biases + to which tones the news pays agenda towards.
Thank you so much for your hard work!
THIS is the kind of news I like to read, and I aspire to be on their level with my publications.

I love how Ground News is committed their focus to provide transparent reporting from all over the globe! They are the one place for coverage on everything from a spectrum of perspectives! Not only that but they seem to be the only ones to offer great analytic tools to navigate stories for such an affordable price that comes out to about $2.50 a month! It is everything an open and critically thinking mind needs to obtain their news!
I guarantee you will not find a better app or site!

I discovered this app through social media as they have a very young and intrigued audience who appreciates the unbiasedness towards projecting news. I've used this app for over a year now, it's simply one of the cheapest apps out there in the market and it gives both right wing, left wing and centric views on any topic sourced from other news platforms.
Due to losing my job, I got rid off all my subscriptions but I was surprised when Ms Harleen Kaur, who I believe is the CEO of Ground News personally emailed me ask why I stopped using their service, I explained that it was due to me cutting my costs as I lost my job. I was once again surprised when I was given a free 2 month subscription promo code to help me through my period of unemployment. I couldn't thank her enough. I still haven't claimed the promo code as the gesture of their kindness was most valuable to me and I'll be starting on my new position from next month and I'll definitely subscribe to Ground News as soon as I recover financially.
I want to thank all the staff and specifically Ms Kaur for her care towards her customers and for taking the time to write to me.

I was surprised to discover the Ground News app a while back, because I didn't think such a platform for news could exist. I was happy to be wrong about that, having proper sources and being an unbiased platform, in a world full of bias, is quite refreshing. I highly recommend giving Ground News a shot, it deserves to spread and become adopted by the masses.

How refreshing to find a website that goes out of its way to give you balanced news!
The "Local" and "Blindspot" features are intuitive and extremely useful.
I would recommend Ground News to anyone who wants to expand their bubble. It is great tool for those who seek to understand multiple perspectives in hopes of landing as close to Truth as possible.

People assuming the bias (or lack thereof) of their news sources is at the root of a lot of political turmoil, and this service proactively works to amend this problem. Not only does it keep your mind on potential bias as you read, it makes it very easy to click over to other news sources you might not normally access to compare the different ways the same story might get reported. I'm grateful to them for building this.

The best way to select my news sources and cross check who is behind

This is a pretty cool app.
I really like how it not only shows you where a particular source typically stands politically, but provides several other direct links to sources talking about the exact topic you are reading about.
Definitely worth a try if you are trying to stay informed, but aren't sure you are getting the full story.

news from other outlets, but combined together with nice timelines. What I especially like, is that newsagencies left/center/right biases are clearly shown.

I have been a subscriber of Ground News for about 4 years and have loved the tools they provide. I lean left myself, but I am happy to find that I read a majority of Centrist Media sources. I wouldn't know that except for the tools I can work with on Ground News. It is a great tool for seeing how the different headlines report the same story in different ways:
Left: "Trump cries when he reads judges response ... "
Center: "Judge provides an answer to Trump's appeal"
Right: "Activist Judge delivers bias response to Trump"
Ground News helps me understand media bias from a variety of perspectives. It gives me a way to read more variations of a story and come to my own conclusions. I highly recommend Ground News.

Absolutely incredible service. Sick and tired of seeing all of the fake news flipping through news channels. This ground news is the best thing to happen to people looking for the truth. Very lovely to have a group of people with good hearts!

I've always preferred reading the news instead of flipping through news channels waiting for a news update that I care about. After some research, I found Ground News and am happy to say it is not only as advertised, but better. They have an easy to understand rating system that gives you a clearer picture of what you are reading. For each article there are also several different sources you can easily view to compare stories.
Ground News is free, but for a very fair and affordable price you can also subscribe and get even more features. As this has quickly become my favorite news app, I will be strongly recommending this to friends and family moving forward.

I read the news daily and enjoy keeping up with current events, especially when I know the source and any potential agendas or bias of the articles. Ground News makes that transparency clearly evident in every article.
The site is set up nicely, easy to navigate to the articles I want to read. One thing I found recently was the personal bias section which shows me what articles I read and where those articles fall within each political bias. Keeps me aware of how well I'm doing reading multiple sources.
Today I was in contact with them regarding auto-renewal. That feature isn't my favorite, here and almost everywhere a subscription is needed. While I know it is the usual practice, I dislike not having an option for a non-recurring fee When I explained my thoughts, they were very receptive to my input. I felt heard by them and while the procedure may not change, someone took the time to reply to my email.
Another aspect that I enjoy, is that Ground News has many sources, in the US but also internationally.
I highly recommend this service and will continue to use it daily for a balanced view of the news.
