Golf trip

Hi guys,

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the Celtic Manor trip 🤩 we all loved it!

Would definitely recommend using Groupia! I used them when planning my friends hen party and they were a massive help! Only just pass the initial booking stage for a Hen weekend but so far so good! Luke was very quick to respond and make changes to the initial quote.

Fantastic hen do planning experience

This is my first time planning a hen do and Groupia was immensely helpful.
The package prices are reasonable, responses are very quick and adjusting the initial package is easy. I would thoroughly recommend.

I’ll definitely use Groupia again it took all the stress of chasing 34 hens for payments out! All the events were so fun and I never would have found them by myself. I wish I could rate our experience higher!

I wish I could rate our experience higher if it was an option! I have never organised a hen do before, when I looked myself the prices were extortionate and hard to book. Niamh at Gohen made it 1000% easier. Took our notes into consideration, let me know about 3/4 times in a row with questions I kept forgetting to ask and made it as easy as possible. So grateful we had her help!

Tom and Natalie super stars

Tom and Natalie have both been amazing. They have answered all my questions and have changed the details for me multiple times without hesitation. I was having a difficult time arranging the hen on my own and they have taken the stress out of planning. The advice they have given has been brilliant and I could not ask for better customer service. Thank you both for all your help.

Awful customer service

1 star is too much for the service I have received. I have been planning my own hen do, I spoke with Tom on several occasions about what I wanted to plan etc. He found me a house to suit but I queried the location on a number of occasions as it wasn't in my desired destination, to be reassured that it was only 20/25 mins away in a taxi/uber on different occasions. I queried the location again and Natalie told me it was 45/50 mins.
After several emails back and forward and no new accommodation available for my required dates I had no choice but to cancel my booking. Unfortunately they aren't honouring a full refund, I feel this is very unfair as this mess up with the booking isn't my fault. I explicitly expressed my wishes and don't feel they were fulfilled and now resulting in a stressed out bride with no hen do and money lost! I wouldn't recommend you, your customer service is extremely poor and your attention to detail is even worse. If you want your requests to not be listened to book with Groupia

After reviewing all correspondence between you and our team, we can see that, initially, Tom estimated the property was about 25 minutes from Bristol. However, in a later phone call, he corrected this information, clarifying that it is 16 miles away and that travel time could range from 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic and the time of day. The property's distance from the city centre was also clearly stated on our website, your quote, and your booking confirmation. Additionally, it was referenced in your phone conversations with Tom, where you acknowledged an understanding of the travel time.

On the same call, Tom also offered an alternative property just 8 miles from the city centre. You presented both options to your group, and they ultimately chose Wellow Farmhouse due to its outdoor space and hot tub. Tom reconfirmed this choice with you, at which point you assured him that you were aware of the distance and had planned to pre-book taxis accordingly. Since this was all discussed before securing your deposit, we proceeded under the assumption that you were happy with the chosen property.

Your booking was confirmed in April last year with a deposit paid to secure the dates. When concerns about the distance were recently raised, it was explained that, as this had been discussed prior to booking, standard cancellation terms would apply. We understand that you have since opted to cancel, and your Event Manager has processed this in accordance with our terms and conditions.

We also see that we spoke with both you and your partner yesterday to reiterate this policy. Additionally, we advised that if you wish to reinstate your booking, we would be happy to liaise with the property manager to see if your deposit can be reinstated. However, as the property is currently available for resale and the dates coincide with a bank holiday, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible if you’d like to proceed.

We hope this helps provide some clarity. Once again, we’re sorry that your experience has not met expectations, and please don’t hesitate to contact us if you wish to reinstate your booking.

Great company, super easy!

Extremely disappointed

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience so far with my current booking. It seems care more about their commission then customers. This was supposed to be a "stress-free" booking process, but it’s been anything but that. I booked based on their description on their website, which clearly advertised the activity as a “daytime” experience. Now, I’m being told that the only alternative option is significantly more expensive and that if I want to proceed with this then I need to pay the difference.. but why should I have to pay extra for something that aligns with what was originally promised?

On top of that, I find the lack of venue information until 3-4 weeks before the event incredibly unhelpful. This isn’t what I expected from a service that’s supposed to make things easier.

I booked with the hope of an organised and smooth experience, but I’m left feeling let down and frustrated. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone expecting a hassle free process.

We understand your frustrations regarding the timing of the cruise and how the confusion around the "daytime" label caused disappointment, however, our 17:00 pm sailing time is generally considered a daytime activity in Marbella as 17:00 pm is still within daylight hours in the region. We do understand that perceptions of “daytime” can vary – we apologise if this didn’t align with your expectations.

When you reached out regarding an earlier time, your Event Manager Sophie did her best to assist. As explained, earlier slots are often part of private charters, which come with a higher price due to their exclusivity, so that was the reason we couldn't easily adjust the booking at that time. However, after reviewing available options with our team, we’re happy to have found another public cruise for you, and Sophie has successfully moved your reservation to their 13:00 pm sail. We’re glad to hear that you're now satisfied with this change!

We’d also like to clarify that we provide final venue details, including exact times, 3-4 weeks before the event, as this depends on factors like group size, any time changes requested and final schedule confirmations from our agents. This is part of our standard practice and is explained prior to anyone committing a deposit payment.

We genuinely appreciate your understanding and are thrilled that we were able to make things right for you.
