Hack the box has been great I am doing the CPTS path and I am learning a lot! It’s been a challenge but worth it!
The content has also been updating as I’ve been going along and the support team, forums and discord are always on hand for assistance!
I couldn’t recommend Hack The Box Academy more highly!

The importance of information security is greatly underestimated, and is not to be ignored. Since i joined HTB i have improved not only my skills and increased my knowledge on many IT subjects, but it helped me mostly to acknowledge myself as a competent person, and thus increased my mentality and positivity immensely!

This company was willing to work with me to provide a refund when they didn't have to per their policy. I had mistakenly forgot to cancel an annual subscription and noticed a charge for several hundred dollars, but when I contacted them the next day they were willing to reverse the charge and provide a refund. This was greatly appreciated!

Brilliant place to get practical cyber security knowledge and skills, whether red or blue team. There's content for absolute beginners and those looking for a challenge or to gain more specialised skills.

I have been studying and preparing myself to become a professional pentester for about 2 years. Thanks to HTB's academy and laboratories, every day I am closer to fulfill this dream.

Hack The Box Academy is a solid platform for anyone looking to dive into cybersecurity, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned professional. The structured learning paths, like the Junior Pentester and SOC Analyst tracks, are well-organized and cover a wide range of topics, from Linux fundamentals to advanced penetration testing techniques like Active Directory attacks and privilege escalation. The hands-on labs are a standout feature, offering practical exercises that simulate real-world scenarios, which really helps reinforce the material. The Pwnbox, a pre-configured virtual environment, is a nice touch for jumping right into challenges without needing to set up your own VM.
The content is generally high-quality, with clear explanations and a focus on both offensive and defensive cybersecurity skills, which is great for building a well-rounded foundation. I appreciate how the platform encourages self-research, pushing you to dig deeper into topics like networking protocols or specific tools—skills essential for real-world cybersecurity work. The gamified approach, with cubes as a currency to unlock modules, adds a fun element, and the free Tier 0 modules (around 10-15 of them) give you a good taste of what’s on offer before committing to a subscription.

I’d rate it an 9.5/10 for its balance of quality and engagement, with room for improvement in pricing and content updates.

Michael's and his teams' efforts have earned a loyal customer who will stick with them for a substantial time. I am preparing for CPTS and planning to do more of their certs. Their certs, machines, modules and labs are the best I have found out there. Once again, thanks Michael from technical support system for helping me out with my issue. Really enjoying the CPTS modules
I've been working in IT for over 12 years and I'm still learning so much. Highly recommend. Plus the hands on labs really help keep things interesting and help with retaining what you're reading.

I love HTB, the labs are great and the scenarios are becoming better and better, it really helps build a good methodology for a pentester and makes us dive into the latest tools and exploits. Also, the support is VERY great and always solves our problems.

The most in-depth academy for learning Cybersecurity concepts. The Training Academy combines excellent content with challenging hands-on challenges.

Learning paths and CTFs complement the training for a great learning journey!
