Hafod Renewable Energy commenced the installation of our air source heating system a short while after the end of the first COVID-19 lock-down (March - July 2020). Organisation was somewhat fragmented for the initial visit to install the underfloor heating equipment and we had a bumpy first experience. I could only be sympathetic at this end as they, like many other companies, had been forced to close for many weeks and were working on all fronts to regain ground on a number of stalled projects. Following some discussions we took a step back and Hafod committed to new dates which were realistic for both parties. From here, Hafod delivered impeccably on their commitments. I commend them on their communications, customer service, standards of workmanship, and especially their highly competent and courteous Installation Engineers. Thank you.

Despite COVID-19 restrictions delaying our installation, we were very pleased with the process overall - the engineers were very professional and did a great job, and the RHI application was processed swiftly thereafter. The only negative issue we had was that Hafod had advised on the size of a plinth for the air source heat pump that was too small - this was frustrating as the feet now slightly overhang the plinth. In terms of the performance of the air source heat pump, we are really pleased with it - much less hassle and mess than our old multi-fuel boiler.

Hafod installed solar panels and an air source heat pump. It all went very smoothly and everyone at Hafod was so helpful and friendly. Really can't think how they could have done any better.

Excellent service from start to finish, every person we spoke to was very helpful and professional. Only 1 problem with our old fuse tripping, not their fault, but nevertheless it was replaced for a bigger one immediately with no fuss. Highly recommended!

However the service from Hafod RE has been very good and the installation was done in a friendly efficient manner. All the staff I have had to deal with have been friendly and professional..

Friendly, knowledgeable team, both for the solar panels and Air source Heat pump. Couple of snags meant we were without hot water for longer than forcast, so if this is important for you, make sure the job starts at the beginning of the week!
Best aspects: very experienced at retro-fitting; neat work; assisted in getting the RHI.

I have previously had a solar system installed by Hafod and now just had an Air Source Heat Pump. This wasn't a straightforward system as we have an annex and it all went really well. The two fitters were excellent and the whole process went very smoothly with minimal disruption.

There were a couple of minor teething problems after the installation but Hafod responded very quickly to sort them out. Small problems aren't an issue for me, the speed of response is what matters and they were great.

I should also say all the build up to having it installed was very professional. Giving me lots of information and guidance. Also total clarity about costs etc.

Hafod Renewables installed my air source heat pump. I’m very pleased with this heating, constant temperature, plenty of hot water. Only had one small hiccup and when I rang them someone rang me back within ten minutes and sorted the problem. Very efficient and helpful from start to finish. Installation team were clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend Hafod Renewables.

They get one star for the guys that installed the boiler, they were nice, tidy and should'nt reflect the fact that the managers they work for are good at lieing regards to energy usage, lieing regards to how to use the boiler, lie regards to giving correct information on its efficiency. It is not cheaper than most fossil fuels. Yes it maybe better for environment but thats if you use a environmental friendly energy company. As u will use thousands of KWH to run their boilers. If you like your money avoid this investment... otherwise you will be skint like me in one winter and be called delusional by customer services!! Calling clients/customers delusional is not the right approach, i'm sick of being reasonable. Feel lucky u got 1 star! There is no option for none!

excellent company to deal with .had an air source heat pump and solar panels installed , the work was carried out to an excellent standard . the workers on site were clean and tidy and were very freindly and polite.would use this company again if the need ever arises , excellent service from start to finish .
