The apartment had all that we needed…

The apartment had all that we needed and is very close to the Clotes lift.
The booking procedure is straight forward followed by useful information regarding the property and key collection.
The only thing that I would change is to change the given route from Oulx to the property to avoid driving through the center of town(limited access zone)as it is not necessary or quicker.
Besides that we had a great time

Happy rentals chamonix is extremely…

Happy rentals chamonix is extremely variable one apartment was lovely the other was dirty, mouldy and completely disparate from pictures provided. The ground team were useless and they refunded 100 euros when we refused to stay in the property and moved elsewhere due to concerns re safe habitation. They offered no help and no solutions. Awful company.

As you mentioned, your group booked two different apartments in the Résidence Le Cristal; Mont Blanc 5 and Mont Blanc 8, which are individually owned properties with different layouts, finishes and price levels. Mont Blanc 8, which was the higher-category apartment, is indeed larger and more recently renovated, while Mont Blanc 5 is a more basic unit.

That said, we take your comments about Mont Blanc 5 seriously. Our local team inspected the issue and, as discussed during your stay, we provided a refund for the inconvenience.

We also want to clarify that our team did respond on site and processed the refund once the issue was verified. Nevertheless, we are sorry that you felt unsupported, as this is certainly not the experience we aim to provide our guests.
Your feedback has been shared with the property owner so that improvements can be made.

We are glad that you enjoyed Mont Blanc 8, and we hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you again in one of our renovated apartments in the future.

Happy Rentals Chamonix France was a…

Happy Rentals Chamonix France was a Very unaccommodating Property Management company. We were traveling 14 hours to get to France and our flight landed early. There was no way we could convince Happy Rentals to allow us to checkin early. Also had to go to a place a mile away to pickup the key which cost us an extra $40 US since we hired a driver. :(

We’re sorry to hear that your arrival felt stressful after such a long journey. Winter season in Chamonix is an exceptionally busy period, and as clearly stated in the booking details, check-in begins at 4PM. During peak season, apartments are often occupied the night before (as was yours), and our housekeeping team requires the full turnaround time to prepare the property to the proper standard for incoming guests. For this reason, early check-in unfortunately cannot be guaranteed.

Regarding key collection, our office location (approximately 1 km from the apartment) is also clearly indicated prior to booking and in the arrival instructions. Many guests choose to walk or take a short taxi ride, depending on their luggage. We understand this may have been inconvenient with a private driver, but the key collection point is part of our standard and transparent check-in process.

We truly aim to provide clear information in advance so guests can plan their arrival accordingly, especially during the busy winter season in central Chamonix.

We do hope you still enjoyed your stay and your time in the French Alps.

Cozy and warm

The apartment was just right for our family of two adults and two kids. It was warm and cozy and it was really nice to go back at it after a snowy cold skiing day. The instructions were very clear. We found the place and the key very easy and we checked in withing 10 minutes from our arrival. The ideal stop for the transfer from Torino airport is on the parking lot in front of the church. The experience would has been even better if there was small dishwasher.

The flat was amazing

The flat was amazing, clean and good view of the panorama. Advise is to put more towels if the stay is long and let the quest know that is no much toilet paper, dish liquid and tablets for the dishwasher so quests can buy before.
The experience was perfect for us.

Great little apartment

Great little apartment. Housed a family of 5 for the week no problem. Lots of storage. Heating was great. Easily walkable to town centre. Just be careful the hot water is limited, and the power can trip if multiple appliances are on.

Stay away- they lie and lie and lie

Stay away: they lie and lie and lie, even in their reply here at Trustpilot, they lie. So do not trust them: we rented an apartment with aircondition, but they deliberately turned the power off for cost saving reasons, so we had the choice of either unpleasant 27 degrees in the bedroom at night or mosquitoes if we opened the windows. – both very unpleasant. Happy Rentals is located in Switzerland and decide if the temperature is for need of aircondition in Italy. We notified both Happy Rentals and the reception on the spot, the very first day to turn on power for the aircondition, but nothing happened, so finally we left. – Stay away !

During your visit in September, the air conditioning had already been switched off for the season, which is standard practice at the resort. At that time, outdoor temperatures were mild and the apartment could be comfortably cooled by opening the windows, which we explained.

There was no intention to mislead, and the situation was handled transparently on site. Your refund request was reviewed carefully and declined, including through the chargeback process.

Excellent proactive customer service

The team at Happy Rentals were so responsive and helpful when I had to contact them with an issue on the day of check-out (25th January). Ref 680035 Chalet Whitmore Argentiere 26/12/2025 - 02/01/2026

We stayed at Chalet Whitmore (advertised for 6–7 people) over the New Year period. The chalet itself was well located and well presented internally.

However, there was a separate flat below the chalet (accommodating a further 2 or 4 guests), and both properties shared a single hot water tank (immersion heater). This meant that between 7 and potentially 11 guests were reliant on one system.

As a result, there was consistently insufficient hot water. Even with only five of us in the chalet, it was not possible for everyone to have a shower in the evening after skiing. It was clear that the hot water capacity was inadequate to service both the chalet and the flat simultaneously.

Lovely apartment

We stayed in a lovely chalet in Bardonecchia. Great apartment for two people and wonderful views. Near the station and centre and not far from ski lift with the free bus.

We booked a 3 night stay in Croatia

We booked a 3 night stay in Croatia. Booking was confirmed and a large deposit taken. Out of the blue I received an email that the owners wanted to stay in the home when we had booked and informed us we would have to shift our stay by 2 nights. Our flights were already booked and this was not possible. As such, Happy Rentals left us with no accommodation for 3 nights of our 10 day trip. We are very fortunate that we have time to find an alternative. However, I would not trust them to honour their bookings in the future and would not use them again. I am shocked to see these sort of practices at an agent that is part of the Marriott group. Very poor. To add insult to injury - we had to arrange the cancellation and refund ourselves. Beware!

Your reservation was confirmed for 23–26 June. Unfortunately, due to an unforeseen owner availability issue, we contacted you to explain the situation and offered an alternative stay from 24–27 June (a one-day shift), not two nights as stated. We fully understand that, due to pre-booked flights, this change of date was not suitable for your travel plans.

At that point, you advised us that, after discussing with your travel companions, you preferred to cancel the booking and receive a full refund so you could secure alternative accommodation for your original dates. As the reservation was made through Marriott’s platform, cancellations and refunds must be processed directly via Marriott, and we followed the correct procedure in line with their policies. A full refund was provided.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience this caused and acknowledge how frustrating it is when plans need to change unexpectedly. Situations like this are extremely rare, and the vast majority of our guests enjoy smooth, problem-free stays. We always aim to communicate promptly and offer fair solutions when unforeseen circumstances arise.

Very comfortable small apartment

The apartment is small but very comfortable and with many details that easy the life together. Moreover is very close to Le Grand Montets telecabine. Highly recommended. Beware No internet, I used hotspot from my phone and it was good enough.

It's a very cosy litlle chalet with…

It's a very cosy litlle chalet with superb views. Perfect, in my opinion for 2 people. Very nice rainshower with heavenly warm water. There's a very strong wifi connection.
The only problem here are the pots and pans. Only 2 are safe enough to be used. The others are too damaged to safely cook in and should be replaced.
Overal I had a very enjoyable 2 weeks over the holidays.

An alpine paradise – thoughtful design in a stunning setting

Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay! Our family absolutely loved our time at your chalet in Ukanc. The property is beautifully appointed and thoughtfully designed; we really appreciated the mix of cozy alpine charm (the wood paneling is beautiful) with modern comforts. Having three bathrooms was a huge plus for our group!

The location is simply incredible. Being nestled right in the National Park, just minutes from the lake and the trails, allowed us to completely reset and disconnect from the hustle and bustle. We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore Lake Bohinj and the mountains. We hope to return someday!

One star is too much !!
Mould in sofa.. stinks of cattpis .very very dirty all over like there has been nobody there for a decade .called staff who very unfriendly showed us another room still totally nasty..full of bugs never in my life would i even dare to sit in that bed !!!! Or push my luck preparing a meal !
Called the company and complained but not possible to get a refund
Had too leave 400 euros down the drain😒
Luckily found another hotel

Your reservation was made at 8:00 PM the evening prior to arrival, and you checked in the following day at approximately 1:00 PM, which was an early check-in, as our standard check-in time is from 4:00 PM. Despite this, we accommodated your early arrival.

Following your check-in, you contacted our team regarding the weather conditions and humidity, which are unfortunately typical seasonal factors in Malta. You also raised a concern regarding dampness on the sofa. Our team responded promptly and arrived at the apartment within 20 minutes, offering immediate additional cleaning as a solution.

As you were not satisfied with this option, we then offered to relocate you to a second apartment in the same building, on the same floor, with identical amenities. This alternative was also declined.

As accommodation and multiple solutions were offered on the spot, including a replacement unit, a refund was not applicable under these circumstances. We regret that you chose to leave the property and that the stay did not meet your expectations, especially while traveling with a child.

We remain committed to responding quickly to guest concerns and providing reasonable solutions, and we are sorry that, in this case, none were acceptable to you.

I had a very disappointing stay at this…

I had a very disappointing stay at this property. The house was extremely dirty, with visible mold in several areas, making it uncomfortable and honestly unhealthy. It was clear that the place had not been cleaned properly before my arrival.

On top of that, my interactions with the host were very unpleasant. In my experience, the host was unprofessional, rude, and not respectful when I tried to communicate the issues I found. Instead of helping, they responded in a dismissive and unkind way, which made the whole stay even worse.

Overall, I absolutely do not recommend this place. It was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Airbnb.
