A large apartment that is very well appointed and an amazing view.
Good location that is an easy 5 min walk to middle of town but also outside the hectic town centre.

We were delighted by the position of the apartment: we could reach the sea within a few minutes, and the city of Lugano and so on.
And the apartment itself was great. The only thin we would appreciate for the next time is to change the mattress of the bed in the parent´s room.

THIS IS A NICE CLEAN AND SPACIOUS APPARTMENT IN A VERY PLEASANT AREA OF VERONA NOT FAR FROM PUBLIC TRANSPORTS. THIS WAS VERY EASY TO PARK OUR CAR FOR FREE.
THE OWNER SHOULD ADD SOME KITCHEN UTENSILS AND A EUROPEAN COFFEE MAKER.

Wonderful location with mountain view and plenty of nature around. 10‘ walk to supermarket, bakery, butcher‘s and pharmacy. Outdoor activities almost next door. Well equipped. Only the sinks are a bit small for wet shavers.

This review is specific to ID 5248, which is based in Sitio do Calahonda, Andalucia. This apartment is one of 51 apartments in a RESIDENTIAL community. I have lived here for 11 years and every Summer the residents have been plagued by noise and bad behaviour from tourists!
Most people here are either retired or have families here, they work and the children have to go to school. People who rent believe this is a holiday community, in fact our law states that this is designated as a NON-tourist community, and some people who rent out here do so illegally (not saying this specifically to this apt ).
So I would warn anyone who is thinking of coming to Sitio de Calahonda to carefully check out the facts.
The Community rules does not allow noise after 11pm, there are strict rules regarding the pool area and over the past few years Security and then Police have been called to incidents. Please be aware that you sign a declaration of good behaviour and if this is broken it will probably mean an eviction!
I know this sounds tough, but if you have worked hard and deserved your holiday, please make sure it is in a proper tourist community. The law in Spain is very much against tourists who cause distress to residents in Communities such as el Puente Dos.
Please be careful about where you go and seek written assurances as to what the Community will allow, ask to see the Community/pool rules and also a copy of the declaration you will sign...more and more communities in Andalucia have banned tourist rental, SOME owners will carry on illegally but this is high risk and punishment is hard!
Just imagine coming back in the early hours of the morning,sitting out on the balcony creating noise (talking too loud/music) and next thing you have the police on your doorstep, possible eviction AND maybe your deposit not paid back.
Me writing this review is due to so many bad incidents....I hope it also helps you to find somewhere suitable....cheers

My review is not that of a customer, but of a resident which is obvious..the point of my review is to warn people of a possible bad experience. If you are lively party goer type people or maybe with youngsters who can be noisy then the review may well help you...if you are quiet and just looking to relax then this MAY be helpful to you.
Although the "Date of Experience" only allows you to give one date, this has been an ongoing issue for several years.

Leonardo and Happy rental team were very helpful and answered promptly all our queries.
The house itself is very beautiful it keeps the Tuscan tradition but with a touch of modern revival. The plus is air conditioning which can be useful during the summer.
The rooms are spacious and so is the kitchen area.
Thanks a lot and we hope we can reserve Leonardo’s home also next year.

The view on the sea was exciting and the swimming pool was big and clean.

simple, effective, fast and clear communication

Want a mountain view.
Want air conditioning.
Want a balcony or patio.
Want to sit at the front of the building.
Have a car bigger than a Kia Niro. The streets are very narrow to get to.
If you can't reverse properly. Meeting oncoming traffic in a narrow street is a serious challenge.
Don't like walking back and forth with your luggage and other belongings from the third floor down.

The advertisement was misleading. It said: “Appartement with Mountain view”. There was no mountain view!
The text and photos didn't reflect reality. The local team did nothing with our findings. They simply told us we were wrong. We left very disappointed after the first day! We eventually got a refund for the remaining days through Booking_com

The apartment was in an excellent location. The arrival instructions were easy to follow to allow for easy access after along journey.

The apartment has excellent views with Happy Rentals responding the same day when the microwave broke.

We are looking to return again next year.

The property's location receives a perfect rating, offering exceptional proximity to the beach and stunning views. While the rooms are adequately sized to accommodate two families with children, several areas require attention to enhance the overall guest experience:

1. The existing router lacks an active internet connection.
2. The installation of air conditioning is recommended, as the current fans are insufficient for comfortable nighttime temperatures.
3. The furniture's condition necessitates refurbishment due to age and odor.
4. Certain mattresses require replacement.
5. Elevated ant activity has been observed in multiple areas, including the garden, bathroom, and kitchen.
6. The grill is non-functional and requires a complete replacement, not a superficial repair.

Central location made it super easy to reach everything we wanted, close to shops, supermarkets, bakaries, restaurants, cabel cars and trainstation.
Cozy interior, we had everything we needed to feel comfy and cozy.
Great for families. We got a nice bottle of wine to welcome us. It was clean. We loved our stay.

Communication was good, no complaints whatsoever

We had a nice stay in Casa Francesca. The place is perfect for people who like to be in Riva all the time. Short way to the shops and restaurants and also only 10 minutes to the beach.
To find a parking place is a little difficult. But the team of happy.rentals gave us support in every way and we enjoyed our stay very much. It was a good choice

Casa Davide Camaiore nestled in the hills of Pietrasanta is an absolutely magical place! The views from any angel of the property are absolutely amazing. You get it all, sea view, mountain view and at night a wonderful view of the starlit sky. On the terrace you can enjoy nice meals in the shade but still with the panoramic view. If you move out to the open garden, you have a more unrestricted view of everything as well as the pool to cool off a little. The house itself has everything you need with two separate bedrooms, including their own bathroom each. We would come back here any time. The team from Happy Rentals was more than accomodating and very helpful as well, making the stay even more enjoyable.

Great apartment, so spacious and clean with everything you'd need already there. Really great location, the lake is two minutes away and there are loads of shops and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Villa Angelina, Manciano, Italy

Stayed for a week at the villa. Overall it was a good week, it’s a very rural location, and it has a fabulous swimming pool. The main floor of the house is nice and spacious. The kitchen is a little rough but not too bad. It does have air conditioning. But it wasn’t to American standards of air conditioning.

However, the house is not four bedrooms as advertised. Rather it is a two bedroom house with a separate building that has two more bedrooms and two more 3/4 bathrooms.

There is also an old couple who live on the far side of this annex. They claim this couple is a caretaker for the property, but we never saw them do any caretaking. We hardly saw them at all. But it was still weird that they were there.

As mentioned the location is rural, so perhaps it’s understandable, but we had a large problem with wasps around the annex and in the pool umbrellas. They tried to help us and brought wasp spray. But it was bad enough that our kids refused to sleep in the annex the last two nights we were there and slept on the living room sofas instead. There are also 5 outdoor cats roaming around and trying to get in the house.

If it was an option, I’d probably give 3.5 stars. Things were very disorganized, which was partly my fault, I don’t speak Italian and I’m sure that contributed, but it would have been nice to have an instruction manual or something with the house.
