Outstanding hospitality experience in Tuscany
The house was very well-maintained and tastefully furnished, equipped with everything necessary for a pleasant and relaxing holiday. Detailed instructions were shared in advance via WhatsApp, leaving no doubts or unanswered questions about the holiday home.
Happ Rentals was also very diligent in providing information and ensuring our well-being. They maintained contact throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at the Happy Rentals apartment in Viareggio! The location is absolutely perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and everything else you might need. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and very well-equipped with everything you could possibly want for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It felt like a home away from home.
We especially appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was at night, yet everything was still within easy reach. Whether you’re planning to spend your days on the beach or explore the surrounding area, this apartment is a great base.
What made the experience even better was the excellent support from the Happy Rentals team. The staff were friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful from the moment we booked until check-out. Their assistance made everything easy and stress-free.

Dishonourable and irresponsible
Dishonourable and irresponsible. Booked an apartment in Livigno and it was confirmed and they even asked for credit card payment and lots of communication in-between to confirm my reservation. We booked our flight and the next day they message to inform me that the apartment was advertised wrongly and they wanted to cancel my booking. I already booked my flight because I thought I secured the apartment and now they just cancelled it on me when and they claimed that the price was wrong. They would not pay for my trip cancellation charges and would not honour my booking. This is making the customer pay for their mistakes as we would have considered somewhere else if not for this apartment booking. Lack integrity, dishonourable and irresponsible.
Clearly, their reply here just shy away from responsibility. There were so many messages after that asking for payment which I gave my card details and accounts department confirming it. I bought the air ticket because I thought I found somewhere reasonable, even if it’s a year away. I would not have chose this destination if not for this accomodation. They do not want to take responder their mistakes and made the customer pay for it! Happy rental, no way!

Shortly after receiving the booking, we identified a technical error in the listing caused by a server issue, which unfortunately resulted in incorrect pricing and availability being displayed.
We completely understand your disappointment. However, as this was due to a genuine system error and no payment was taken, we were unfortunately not in a position to honour the incorrect rate or assume the cost of travel changes.
That said, as your intended arrival date is still nearly a year away, we sincerely hope you will have ample time to find a suitable alternative that meets your needs and expectations.

We stayed at a happy Rental property in San Margarite, Italy
SAY NO TO HAPPY RENTALS! First, we discovered a large dead bird caught in a dusty tarp left on the couch (had this apt been cleaned since last season?and oof, the stench) and discovered no power after returning from a long day of exploration. They tried to blame us, saying we had too much plugged in but we were gone ALL day. There is NO local support from HR. We had to dispose of the dead bird ourselves, it sat outside the home in a bucket our entire stay. We had to scrounge around the apt building in the dark, dealing with electric boxes for over an hour to turn power on. This was aggravating as well as dangerous. We left a day early and HR refused to compensate us for our troubles. Oh, and the apt itself is cheaply updated, don't let the photos fool you. This house was expensive, NOT worth it. Other travel services bend over backwards to make you feel comfortable. Choose the alternatives!

Our local team was in direct contact with you and responded promptly to assist with the electricity issue. Power outages happen at times in Italy, but clear video and photo instructions were provided to help restore the power safely, and we were assured the issue was resolved quickly. The brief sound of the alarm was a normal part of the reset process and stopped automatically, as designed.
We’re really sorry you found yourselves navigating the dark like amateur electricians. Definitely not the kind of immersive experience we aim for, but part of the unknown adventure when travelling.
Regarding the unfortunate report of a dead bird, we were not informed of this during your stay with supporting photos, which made it difficult for us to assess or address the situation properly.
We strive to offer attentive local support, and we're sorry to hear you felt otherwise. While compensation was not issued in this case, we did do our best to provide timely assistance throughout your stay.
We hope your next adventure includes more pasta and less power panels!

Super helpful and efficient
Happy Rentals sent clear and concise information. The apartment was as advertised, had everything we needed for our stay. It was close enough to centre of village to reach restaurants in 5mins and lift in 10 at most, but also far enough away from any noise in the centre. Sauze is a lovely village, with enough going on to keep you busy every night, but not too crazy that you can’t share experience with family. We felt safe, all locals very friendly. Our host replied to messages almost immediately and was so helpful. I’ll use this company again for sure!

Lovely ski week in Chamonix Valley.
My family stayed in a condominium apartment in the Chamonix Valley in March 2025. The apartment was exactly as depicted online at Expedia. Happy Rentals has several offices in the valley, including one just a five minute walk from our apartment. It was convenient on two occasions to visit the office for inquiries.

Perfect Spot in Sauze D’Oulx!
We had a fantastic stay here! The location is spot on—just a short walk to the chair lifts, which made getting on the slopes super easy. Plus, there are loads of great restaurants and bars nearby, so we never had to go far for a good meal or après-ski drink.
The apartment was really well-equipped with everything we needed, clean, cozy, and a great place to relax after a day in the mountains. The hosts were awesome—really friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. Shout out to Ilona!

Great stay in Sauze d'Oulx, Italy
We stayed in Italy/Sauze d'Oulx and had a pleasant stay! The private appartment was small but since we were skiing all day and ate dinner at the local restaurants, we mostly needed it for sleeping. Location was great: close to center but still away from all the after-ski noise. We were actually the only ones in the whole building so it was really quiet! The village is awesome and beautiful! We had some issues with warming but the local office helped us immediately and everything went smoothly. The double bed is a sofa bed but it was surprisingly good and we slept well. The floors are quite cold in the winter, some extra shoes or crocs would've been useful. Also a door mat for dirty shoes inside the appartment could be good to protect the floors. Eco tip: recycling was made very easy in the village. The appartment has no different bins for different type of waste but we did our best!

Do not stay in this apartment unless you are partial to an all night Rave or are nocturnal!
We are not exaggerating sitting and trying to sleep in the apartment is completely impossible . Company reviews misleading and i’m not exaggerating when describing the noise aggravation. Company states this is a place for families or a couple to relax. This is completely untrue and all parties dealing with the rental accommodation are completely unhelpful once you arrive and they have your money.. watch out for the company misrepresentation as they remove negative feedback giving you a false sense of security. Mark and Jennifer who represent this listing are completely unhelpful and just advised us to spend our holiday contacting the police to solve their problems.
Apartment has old wooden windows with no sound insulation and pictures are misleading as it could definitely do with new carpet and is in need of some attention!
DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT OR DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.
