Our sales rep, Jonathan was very knowledgeable and very quick at responding to all our requests. We have traveled quite a bit but we haven’t seen a detailed itinerary such as the one provided by Happy Gringo.

We would like to point out how great was our comunication with MaJoCornero,
She is an excellent professional and helped us to oganize our trip providing us with all informatin we need. She responded immediatly to all requests

Jacky is honest, hard working, quick to get back to us and a delight to work with!

Everything went really well, except 2 emails. It looks like they were automated by AI with unusual information ...not responding on my questions. Both times I got a normal email from Jacky with the normal and good answers. It is confusing when you first get these AI emails.....better to wait a few more hours and get the right answers and information.

Our travel assistants David (and now Maria) are just amazing. Booking tours with them in Ecuador was so easy. They answer immediately always with an easy solution to any personal request, the booking was so smooth and without any trouble, it was such a great help. We greatly recommend happy gringo and will gladly book more tours with them. Thanks!!!!!!

We had only one day in Quito and chose to take the old town & equator tour, which covered a lot of Quito highlights. The guide was very flexible on adjusting the tour to fit our interests.

Happy Gringo is highly recommended. Our travel advisor, MaJo, was very warm and patient to gave us tour recommendations and to help us make changes when our travel dates had to change.

I would prefer to write this review AFTER my trip! but thus far, Maria has been 100% wonderful & fantastic!

David was super responsive, informative and welcoming.

Jonathan made it so easy (and fun!) to plan our trip to Ecuador in August. I had done a ton of research on my own, so filling out the trip planning “quiz” on Happy Gringo was a piece of cake and truly enjoyable. Within a couple days he came back to me with an itinerary - I asked a ton of questions and he answered every question very thoroughly, and helped make a couple edits to the trip. I couldn’t be happier with how seamless this process was and we are so excited for our trip in August!

Jacky was very prompt and patient with us even though we had few changes to our plans. She also gave us good information on the hotels while we are on transit to our destination

I would highly recommend them for booking but will be able to rate fully when I have been on the trip.

Our guides were awesome, very knowledgeable, and helped us reach the glacier at Cotopaxi. Would highly recommend.

Happy Gringo responded promptly to my request for information. Our agent, David, was polite and knowledgeable. He suggested all the activities I had researched and hoped we would do (without me suggesting them) and even worked around some previous obligations we had scheduled already. I made one suggestion about a lodging location, to which he replied that he recommended no tourist stay in that particular section of town due to safety concerns. I greatly appreciated his honesty and his concern for our wellbeing and happily took his advice ;) David was approachable and always ready to answer my questions. I can’t wait to go on our trip to Ecuador - he has planned a FANTASTIC itinerary for us!

I was nervous using Happy Gringo at first. I’d never heard of it before, it wasn’t coming personally recommended from someone I knew, I usually book all of my own travel arrangements directly instead of going through agents, and bookings in the Galápagos involve a lot of money.

But I couldn’t have had a more positive experience. I worked with Nico, and he was incredibly helpful and responsive. He answered my questions, even my dumb ones, very promptly and clearly. And he checked in with me once my trip had started to see if things were going smoothly. I will be happily recommending Nico and Happy Gringo to any of my friends and family traveling to Ecuador in the future.

Also, I know the review is about Happy Gringo as an agency but because I wish I’d been able to find more feedback about the products they connect you to beforehand - I did the 5-day H itinerary aboard the Fragata. The Fragata isn’t luxury but it has everything you need and is quite comfortable. The crew and our guide were great. And the itinerary was a great intro to the Galápagos. I travel a lot, and this was one of my favorite experiences I’ve had.
