I first met a representative of the Happy Gringo Travel company at a travel show in January. I was excited to hear that they specialize in Ecuador, because my wife and I had decided we wanted to return to the Galapagos in the fall of this year and we hoped to include the Amazon rainforest. We contacted several travel companies with specific requirements that we wanted in our trip. For example, we knew the Galapagos itinerary that we wanted to book and we wanted air conditioning in the Amazon. Nico, from Happy Gringo listened intently to our requests and delivered an itinerary that met our requirements. Other companies, even the one we had used previously, kept suggesting alternatives that didn't match with what we were looking for. Happy Gringo delivered big-time, now I just need to be patient and wait for November!

So far, we have had excellent service in choosing the itinerary and arranging our trip. We are at the stage when we have paid the deposit. We requested numerous changes and they were all dealt with promptly and willingly. We are grateful for all the trouble, expertise and assistance to date.

Events of nature, city tours, horseback riding vs walking ;) all perfect. You will be delighted with his patience...

There is a plethora of options in Ecuador - she found us a cabin in a cruise that we hadn’t looked at which actually met all our needs. The planning couldn’t gave talented without her help.
