Nicolas Bayas is an excellent trip planner with a proactive and highly efficient service attitude. He is able to arrange everything a client could hope for. Even though the trip cost was above our budget, we still decided to join the tour with Happy Gringo Travel.

I had a mixed experience with Happy Gringo Travel. I didn't select them, but rather was directed to them from the website of one of the Galapagos boats I was looking at. The service I got from the travel agent who was assigned to us was excellent in most ways. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and very responsive. Up until an error was made with the post- boat trip transfer that HG would not address I would've given the agency a 5 star review. So I would recommend them for everything except transfers within/between the islands. Those transfers are very well organized and you can do it on your own to ensure that you have transportation when and where you need it.

Nico, our agent with Happy Gringo, from start to finish was extremely helpful in planning our Galapagos cruise. We followed his advice and were very happy with the cruise we selected. He even provided information on travel issues not related to the cruise. He also effectively problem solved to our satisfaction an issue that came up unexpectedly.
