Nice

Stopped by Harris + Hoole and was looked after by Lina and her colleague, who were friendly and patient enough to deal with me before my afternoon caffeine hit (a true act of bravery). I asked for a strong coffee, the type that could wake the dead or at least get me through emails, and they nailed it. No weak stuff here, this was proper rocket fuel in a cup.

Mid Matcha

Was at the airport in Stansted, ordered a iced matcha latte with oat milk. It was quite alright although it mainly tasted like oat milk, please improve the matcha making skills. ps. im being generous😅

Grubby Guildford

Stained seats and tables in need of a clean and entrance dirty and full of debris. Not a pleasant environment, won't be going again

Just bought a cheese and ham toasted…

Just bought a cheese and ham toasted sandwich for £5.65p. It will be tge last ill ever buy. This is just robbing people. I never asked the price before I bought it otherwise I wouldn't be eating it.

Absolutely disgusting. For two slices of bread and cheese and a slice of cheap ham bought from Sainsbury's.

Made me really angry. I won't be buying anything else to eat from here. Disgusting robbery.

Can't believe they try to justify this price.

Very Disappointing

Cappuccino was very ordinary. The large one i ordered simply had extra milk and no extra shot which resulted in a bland weak coffee.
The cheese "toastie" was tasteless and certainly not toasted.
The chicken and mustard baguette was miserly filled. Padded out with slices of cucumber to disguise the lack of chicken of course
The place was very quiet on the Saturday lunchtime we visited...I'm not surprised.
A poor show all round

@stansted airport location

@stansted airport location
Ambience ok, bit cramped but an airport

Paid £20 for x2 people's portions of essentially bread and cold avocado and a really small poached egg that was poor quality (?welfare ?free range)
Didn't rate the coffee much either (cappuccino with soya)

Sorry for the review but had to be honest.
Not value for money

Wonderful coffee

First inviting coffee cafe at Stanted once you go through security. Ordered medium flat white and Pain Au Raisin pastry. Wonderful coffee, full of flavour. Warm pastry. Really nice place to sit.

I wouldn't normally bother complaining…

I wouldn't normally bother complaining about bad service in a coffee shop but my time in Harris and Hoole in Henley on Thames was so awful that it deserves notoriety. The food was of very poor quality and cold, the service was extremely poor, the staff were very rude and I have no idea why the chairs are so short unless they were expecting their primary customers to be dwarves.

Disappointing

Visited Imperial Wharf cafe and was less than impressed. Whole place seemed scruffy and unkempt. No gluten free options, so was unable to have breakfast/lunch/brunch and had to make do with a £2.50 cookie! Had just spent three hours on a train otherwise I would have walked somewhere else but this was convenient for the tube.

Stay away !! Worst customer service.

We were at the Stanstead airport Harris+hoole cafe on 29th Mar at 7 am.I was travelling with my pregnant wife and a 5 year old son. My wife ordered food and went onto grab a seat till the order gets ready. When my wife asked the only gentleman who was at the counter to clean the table, he said he is busy and would clean it later. 5-7 mins later when he handed over the food, I asked him to clean the table, he said he is busy, food is in the oven and he cant clean now. Till the time we finished our food, he did nt clean the table. To be honest, the cafe was nt the busiest at the time. I thanked him in the end and told him that he must be proud of his customer service for not cleaning the table today. Never foing there again. He showed no remorse and was smiling.

Dog friendly and a winner all-round

Lovely chilled atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Food is tasty and very reasonably priced. Dog friendly which is a massive plus.

Harvey was given a doggy blanket and toy to play with - big thumbs up!
