The water softener is fine but the app…
The water softener is fine but the app (which was part of the reason I went with Culligan Harvey) is absolutely useless. It does not update as I was promised to the point I have now Ideleted it and check the machine to see what the salt position is. I have mentioned this only to be told they know about but the app has a glitch - well fix it rather than sell me rubbish!

Had to call engineer back to fix 3…
Had to call engineer back to fix 3 water leaks and fit tap pipes as instructed but not done as he knows better and new pipes provide was not needed according to him although it leaked like a percolator. Now I need to replace swollen cupboard boards and melted water tap handles after he soldered copper pipes and I can not get a Harvey complaint line!

Water softener installation
Once I had made the first approach Culligan Harvey responded quickly with a home visit, clear exposition and demonstrations. (My son has a water softener and sat in, confirming the claimed benefits)
Having agreed the purchase an early installation was agreed and the engineer arrived to time.
The engineer, George, was clearly competent and explained the process. He had to overcome some difficulties due to existing plumbing but
managed admirably.
He completed the work and left all neat and tidy- a very professional piece of work and to be commended.

Finally took the plunge.....
I recently contacted Harveys and spoke to Sonje Papenfus, she provided excellent customer services. I had reservations about the price but she managed to offer me extra salts etc and explained the 0% interest free options. I have signed up for the water softner today and really looking forward to it being installed. Moving forwards I will only be dealing with Sonje.

I completely regret buying this water…
I completely regret buying this water softening system. It has made absolutely no difference in our home. Our dishes still come out covered in unsightly spots—whether it's salt or hard water causing it, spots are spots. On top of that, my towels are still stiff and my skin is just as dry as it was before the installation. I honestly can’t tell a difference at all and wish I hadn't spent the money.

NIGHTMARE
I have been trying to get this whole-house water filter installed correctly, and it has been an absolute nightmare.
The company came to my house three times, each time after scheduling an appointment, only to conclude that they couldn't install the filter without carrying out major building work. I eventually solved their problem myself by designing and building a steel structure capable of supporting the unit. They returned for a fourth visit and finally installed the filter.
However, after only two weeks, I noticed that limescale was still appearing throughout the house. I tested the water myself and discovered that hard water was still flowing through the system. I contacted them again, and during their fifth visit they discovered that the filter had been installed incorrectly from the beginning.
I have never dealt with such an incompetent group of people in my life. Five visits, countless hours wasted, and I still had to identify the problem myself.
Please do yourself a favour and avoid this company. It has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
