This has to be the world worst online shop. Was told my item would be 3 working days. 2 weeks later I'm still waiting. Was given a fake Royal mail tracking number that was completely useless. What ever you do. Do not buy from this scammer shop

After returning a poor fitting flatcap to Hatshopping at my expense, I then spent a lot of time chasing a refund which never came. Conflicting messages on the return form led me to send the package to Germany instead of UK (scanning or using a return code generates a Germany return address). Eventually they confirmed receipt of the hat but ignored repeated requests for a refund. Thankfully I paid via Paypal and Paypal decided in my favour

Bought a Lipodo Corduroy hat
Bought a Lipodo Corduroy hat. It is very poor quality and I'm not impressed. Can't be bothered to take advantage of the 100 day return as you have to pay return postage which will likely be a large amount as it was shipped from France. Made in china though but this wasn't made clear in description. Will probably give the hat to my child to play with rather than gift it as intended (it's really too shoddy to give anyone as a gift) as its more like a costume hat than a real hat. Would not use this company again. Poor customer service also as no-one replied to my query regarding shipping times
A positive experience!
Thought I'd let people know of my experience. After buying a Kangol cap (on 8/12/21) for an xmas present, I panicked after reading some experiences on here!
Anyway, the cap arrived today (16th) via Royal Mail, in perfect condition (inside a flat box) and within the 5-7 *working* days timescale.
Buyer Beware
Wish I could award zero stars. This company takes your card details, hence your money then tells you a day later your card has been declined. Now I worry my card has been used by third party. They may well be crooks.
Only 2 sizes, and the 'adjustment' elastic is a very poor design.
Took a while to arrive (knew it wasn't coming from the UK), but a nice hat very well packed in a custom made box.
The only issue I have is that the hat (Boston pork pie) is sized in M (56-57cm) and L (58-59). As I'm a 58, ordered the L. The hat is massive, and on inspecting the label affixed to it, it covers 58-60cm! There is a bit of narrow elastic inside for adjusting the size, but it's far from ideal, as both ends are about 4" apart, so doesn't cover the entire inside of the brim. Looking at the reviews for return policy, may well end up losing it and more money trying to send it back!
Very long delivery times
There seem to be more and more of these popping up on the internet... companies in Europe selling into the UK by trying to seem like a UK based company. Hatshopping.com is a french retailer that publishes a UK phone number and gives the impression of being a UK company. It is not.
I ordered a hat to take on holiday thinking 2 weeks was plenty of time to get it delivered. It was supposed to be delivered in 5-7 working days. I ordered the hat on 11th October, it is now 1st November with no sign of a delivery. I've been on holiday and returned.
I now have to pay for the return when my hat does turn up and try to claim it back from Hatshopping.com.
Lovely hat, really pleased
I read reviews for this company AFTER ordering from them which made me very nervous. However, I am pleased to say I have been delighted. My hat is just lovely and a great size and it was beautifully and robustly packaged. The only thing is it took 8 working days to arrive instead of the 2-3 advertised but overall I'm relieved to be delighted with my purchase!

NOT BASED IN THE UK
I, like a majority of people seem to have been tricked by the name of the website.
With a name like "Hatshopping.co.uk" you assume that they are based in The UK. This is not the case.
They are based in Germany. This isn't really a problem until you want to return something, which isn't free. My hat to return cost £14. On top of the £4 delivery to receive it.... almost £20 for a hat I did not want. Not cool.
On top of this, the delivery times are shocking. Not really their fault we've left the EU but not exactly clear when you order it'll take a while. Oh well, you live and learn.

A little Late but worth the wait.
I ordered and paid for my hat on 17/06/21 and tracked my package. It left France on 19/06/21, it then left the International processing on 20/06/21. But instead of coming to Bedford it was sent to Falkirk Delivery office in Scotland and was delivered and signed for on 22/06/21 by some unknown person. At that point I called Royal Mail who confirmed where it was delivered but couldn't explain why and asked me to speak to the seller.
I kept on trying their number persistently for 3 days from 22nd- 24th I also sent an email but didn't get any response. I eventually got through on the 24/06/21 to a very nice person on assured me that they would look into the issue and advised my to call back by 30/06/21 if i didn't get any response.
Well this morning 29/06/21 I got my package. So although it took a little bit longer and I did have to quite persistent. I am happy with the quality of the product and their customer service (when I eventually got through)
They are not a scam as some people will want you to think. I believe they just need to sort out their delivery process.

Never received products paid for
Bought and paid two hats but never received them. – Never had an order confirmation, and no reply from them after I messaged to ask what was happening. I've opened a dispute in PayPal as can see this isn't a one-off.
