I wanted an eternity ring and engagement ring combined with new Ruby‘s to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary . Laz was so helpful and came up with some great ideas and managed to make the most perfect ring. I couldn’t be happier would recommend in a heartbeat.

We worked with Laz to commission a custom engagement ring and a plain wedding band for my partner. He was nothing but brilliant, straightforward and created the most beautiful special ring that I will always love! When working with him I suggest having a vision of what you want ready and trust his guidance on sizing, what will and won’t work, and how it will all fit together- he really, really knows his stuff, and because the rings are handmade in the workshop he has really seen it all. In the end between my inspiration and his reality checks during appointments in his workshop we built a superb and creative ring in our budget. I really valued his candor and honestly in how much it all costs and what brings the price up vs down and what tweaks were and weren’t possible.

Laz and team are top notch. He walked me through the entire process taking an educational approach, not a sales one. Never did I feel pressured in my decision. Laz is extremely communicative and I felt extremely comfortable making one of the biggest purchases of my life!

My experience with them actually spans over a year. I first visited with my own round-cut diamond and wanted a bespoke engagement ring made. From the outset, Laz was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and professional. He took the time to talk me through all the available options, answer my many questions and help me make the right decisions, even while I changed my mind several times throughout the process!

The turnaround time was remarkable. The gold band and platinum setting were made within a week, and the diamond was mounted in just a few hours while I spent some time shopping nearby. When I returned, I was presented with the most beautiful ring I could have wished for. The craftsmanship was flawless and clearly reflected the work of highly skilled experts. Laz also provided a copy of the diamond certificate and a valuation for insurance purposes, which was a lovely touch and gave me complete peace of mind.

I was absolutely delighted with the service and the finished piece.

Fast forward a year later, after losing a significant amount of weight, I needed the ring resized by several sizes. Naturally, I returned to Hatton Garden Jeweller. I requested a same-day service and, while they couldn’t guarantee it, they assured me they would do their very best.

Once again, Laz was incredibly helpful, taking the time to discuss sizing options and helping me decide on the best fit. Because of the amount the ring needed reducing, there was a possibility it could become slightly oval in shape. However, thanks to the skill and expertise of Ellie, the jeweller who worked on my ring, the result was perfect. Not only did she manage to resize it while keeping it perfectly round, but she also completed the work incredibly quickly.

Within just three hours, I had my beautiful ring back, professionally cleaned, sparkling like new and fitting perfectly.

The level of craftsmanship, customer service, expertise and efficiency at Hatton Garden Jeweller is truly exceptional. Both Laz and Ellie went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t trust my jewellery with anyone else.

Loved our experience from start to finish, I wasn’t 100% sure what I was looking for with the finer details for my wedding ring design but Laz took the time to show us different band sizes and diamonds and provided great advice on my final choice. They were also able to re-size my husband’s wedding ring too which was really appreciated - we learnt a lot about it too from Laz that was unknown to us before our visit! Would recommend them to anyone and everyone, they really go above and beyond. So happy my friend recommended them to me 😊

My partner and I attended Hatton Garden Jewellers to buy 2 x wedding rings for ourselves.
We could have just visited a shop but I am so glad we came to Laz at Hatton Garden.
With Laz, it wasn't just about buying some rings, it was the whole experience.
He was obviously very knowledgeable and gave us good advice and help on deciding style and type.
My partner wanted to melt down her mother's wedding ring and for it to be incorporated into hers. The procedure was explained by Laz and she had no hesitation in having this done.
On top of that, I have no doubt we are getting the rings for a good price.
We had such confidence and trust in Laz, that when we returned to pick up the wedding rings, which are lovely, we also ordered an eternity ring.
Again the help and advice from Laz was very helpful.
Would I go back again, absolutely.

We found the service efficient and friendly. We visited once to discuss and decide on the design of the earrings and ring we wanted which took about 45 minutes. Following the meeting we were in close contact with Laz about any changes, price, schedule, etc. by email and the end results were great. Laz is helpful and outgoing with lots of chat which we enjoyed.

Shopping in Hatton Garden is so overwhelming when you don’t know anything about shopping for diamonds! I knew I wanted a more personalised experience and ended up going to Laz after reading many 5 star reviews.
His service is exactly what I was looking for, personable, someone who knows diamonds inside out and is willing to spend time to listen and offer advise and help you design a ring tailored to your budget (respecting your budget and not trying to oversell at all!).
We also had a good laugh with Laz throughout the process and I love that you can text/call to him to ask any questions. In my opinion, it was a far nicer experience to go up to their little workshop where you can see the rings are being made Vs the flashier stores with sales attendants that aren’t trained gemologists!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Laz & Vince to anyone looking for some bespoke jewellery or repairs.
