Avoid this company

Avoid this company. It’s a scam. My elderly mother bought some curling tongs/irons and they didn’t work. After numerous emails by myself to Havegoods, they finally said they would refund her, but never did. They promise a refund on their website. They are lying. They thought I would just go away. They are selling faulty goods and if you request a refund, forget it! I’ve given them plenty of time before writing this as I don’t like writing bad reviews.

Poor quality bad service

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with a recent purchase I made from your company. The products received are of very poor quality, falling below the standards expected and advertised.

As per your refund policy, I have attempted to contact your customer service team regarding the return of the items for a full refund. The policy explicitly states a hassle-free and prompt refund process, yet despite numerous emails sent over the past two weeks, I have not received any response from your end.

This lack of communication and failure to adhere to your own policies has left me deeply disappointed. Consequently, I am now seeking assistance from my bank to facilitate the refund process.

Avoid. Scam. Refuse to give refunds

Bloody awful experience. I ordered self-adhesive leather to repair a chair. Product came and was all creased because it hasn’t been packed well.

I asked for a refund and have received FIVE emails from the company offering me money off or replacement goods. But I just want a refund, and their refund policy states that I am entitled to one.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. Absolute scam. Crappy customer service.

Edited on 26 Jan to add: nice reply from HaveGoods, but no action. I have not received a refund or the address to send one. My review will stand.

Edited on 27-1 to add: received an email from HaveGoods today saying ‘Taking your feedback into account, we would like to take a special step. Once you are willing to delete your trustpilot review, we will issue you a full refund. Our goal is to ensure that you are satisfied with our products and services and to provide you with a satisfying shopping experience.’

So they are trying to bribe me into deleting my review by promising me a refund - which their website states that I’m entitled to!!

This gets worse and worse.

AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Weather proof sealant pot the size of a cotton reel

I ordered some weather proof sealant which when delivered was size of a cotton reel. The advert showed a big pot and liberal coatings. My cotton reel pot cost £18 the pots used in advert probably cost £200 going on the advert. So my pot is totally useless as I wanted seal garage roof the brush supplied is 20mm in width. Scam company

Scam company. Avoid at all costs. Did not send any confirmation of order after payment. Luckily took a screen shot at time of order. I contacted them 3 weeks after payment having not received the goods. They sent me a picture of a parcel left on the floor outside a block of flats, completely wrong address.
